Well truth be told, I don't really care all that much. I'm more bummed than anything since I didn't get one epic from all the fusion crap from before/during Beast Brawl I.

And of course, any game that has in game things such as gems or diamonds or whatever is ostensibly f2p but it's more p2p than anything when you get down into it.
