Congrats but how did you do it at level 75 with those A/D stats? It looks like you took the low ally approach however your stats are with 75 dragons in your A/D so it was probably even lower. Did you get attacked much or were able to skate by?

It was even lower, thats true.
But the stats are not bad for 50 allies, even some guys with 100 allies have not better stats. So I guess and did not get on the radar of the big boys and of course I was lucky not being attacked too often. Lost only about 200k on the way which lasted about 2,5 weeks.

One guy even stopped attacking me after 2 times and wished me good luck on my BD10 quest, that was nice :D

IMO income per hour is essential, so I grow not faster than I can afford allies/armor/weapons/units

I can make waaaaaaaaay more money per hour by raiding and not gaining a lot of XP than upgrading my income buildings in the meantime. I don't even care if people raid my Manors or Lenders, again, I steal so much more.

But you wont have to spend another 17k because the armor doesnt die like dragons do. Not as big a boost to the stats, but a worthy investment nonetheless.

Congrats on the dragons Pophai! Sounds like you found a quiet zone in your level that allowed you to be succesful. I did the same but after getting dragons intentionally moved up a couple of levels so I could find better hunting grounds for raiding. When I was in level 92 there were a few high stat players I couldn't touch and a ton of lower stat players that never had much gold on hand or buildings worth raiding.

Yes it is, but when you find a good list of people that are overvaulted, if you write down their names, you are able to scout for them and hit them more often - especially easy if they decide to attack you back and go into your news feed.

True, BUT, if you have enough dragons your attack gets closer to 200k, and when you raid someone with 80k or less defence you have almost no losses ever. the weaker they are the lower your losses

Just click on the upgrade of BD10 last night, just ~half a day after my BD9 completed upgrading :) on level 61, with my IPH only ~5.5K and as a free player!

Want to share with anyone interested my approach which I find it some how different but it proved to be effective (with a little bit of luck): I go for Attack, not Defense! My stats for the run is >60K A / >50K D (only ~150 HP)

Ever since the beginning, I would prefer attack over defense and has built my army toward it, as a semi-camper, I built up an army of Flaming Trebuchet.
Decided to level out of lv50 at the Priest of Set event (although I can't go all the way) and have leveled up quite fast since then.
My strategy for BD10 worked perfectly according to my plan: an ALL OUT ATTACK strategy, avoiding all the players who have higher attack than my defense, but as many go for DEF, I could a lot of players with def higher than atk, who... willing to donate to my cause :cool: Each time go over vault (BD9 and BD10) only maximum 1 - 1.5 days, on the last run for BD10, I happened to be able to gather 1.2m gold within 1 day, decided to sell my manors for the rest!

BTW, this strategy also helped me a lot in Boss events which would effectively add to my stats :)

Congrats to Dewsy, Pophai and now Blue2012! GL on your run, Perfuzzie. I am getting as ready as can be to make my BD10 run starting on Tuesday evening. Planning out income per day, how much I'll need to get from raids and monsters, accounting for losing, say 100k a day to being raided, and getting a bunch of monsters down to one shot left. Then by Friday night, I should be able to do it unless I get hit for more than I accounted for or can't find anyone overvault to attack. So my manors are my insurance - if I get close by Friday night, rather than sleep on it, I'll sell one, or two if need be.

congrats. I'm in the same boat, should have max dragons in a week or two, and am already in the process of upgrading my boost buildings.

I'm still on the fence about the WTH, though... I can see the value when a PvP intensive LTQ comes along that will help save on dragon losses... but you can only upgrade one building at a time, so what else do you do with your gold other than buy more dragons?

it seems to me that it may be more cost effective to continue to buy dragons so that you have a surplus and use your upgrade time on all of the boost bldgs (except for maybe machine) and then back to IPH or maybe the WTH

Well I do a lot of raiding so anything that cuts down on unit losses is a plus for me.

Well, I'm sitting at level 83 with 1142 dragons now. No change in stats for the last 65 of them. Took me ages, but at least I'm there. At the rate o frequency and units given from LTE's and boss events, I won't need to get any more dragons except in case I plan to become a PvP'er so should have some in stock.

Now focus only on building upgrades. :)

Ha, I had a hard time fighting with myself throughout that event... easy decision to raid an over vaulted player, harder if they aren't over vaulted but had manors laying around that could be attacked... so I hit some manors on the way to the PVP total to get the 5th quest finished.

just to make things clearer for me, a dragon has what 109/78K A/D or something like that ?
So if you purchase 1 dragon these A/D get added to my total so if i purchase 10 of them that 1000 A points to me ? providing i dont have Better than dragon units ? but if i purchase 1500 thats about 163K .. the reason i ask is travelingsalesman has 1001 Dragons with a 172K attack take away the dragon count and his attack drops to 70K+ give or take? if you have Hydra 70/58 then move to Dragons you only add 30+ to your total so for 1500 that only 45K ?
Why cant you sell the old units you dont use anymore ? they dont even get knocked off (die) in PVP cause you dont use them ?
I will be starting my BD9 next week as my area is wonderfly rich with large buildings for me, so i will start then move on but wanted to know about the stats of the dragons, ..call it cheking them out before i buy ! Do i really need them? due to most of my current units are better than dragons even H/P dont alter my stats much ?

Ratma...you're almost there.

For all intents and purposes (Let's say the max amount of units 100), you have 100 Hydras (50/50) and all of a sudden you unlocked Dragons (100/50).

Your attack at 100 Hydras is 5,000/5,000. (no weapons & armor taken into account)

You decide to buy 10 Dragons. 100 H + 10 D But can only bring in 90 and 10, respectively. You only actually increased the attack stats by 500 and not 1,000. And, your defense didn't improve at all.

Your new attack is now 5,500/5,000.

I created a chart in Excel that allows me to input all respective units higher than a Dragon, and by Class (Beast, Infantry, etc) and factors in the Boosted Unit Building (+2%, 4%, etc) stats. It then allows me to type in the quantity of Dragons I have (which changes with each new earned Better than Dragon unit).

It's great, it tells me what my total stats can be (Boosted & Unboosted), as well as the Breakdown of Total Attack by Class (again, Boosted & Unboosted).

Also, there is a HUGE difference between an army of Hydra's and an army full of Dragons... notice that if you want to get about ~130k attack you NEED dragons. With the 20% boost they are a 130/94 * 1500 = 195k/141k before you add in weapons / armor and adding for your better units. It's is all about preparing for the end-game and the pillaging on the way up there :P

Ratma to your point about selling units...what I chose to do as i put my BD10 strategy into full swing was I got about 800 Hydras mixed with high priests that I used to make my run and ad i went from 8, 9 and 10 I did not replace the units in PvP, what that allowed me to do is in effect sacrifice those units for the cash I raided since i did not replace them. Yes my stats went down but only on the incremental difference between that unit and the one in my inventory it replaced. As i build my dragon army with only replacing the dragons i lose, I am cleaning out my inventory of units for cash to buy more dragons. Now since most of my inventory has been wiped each dragon I add right now adds most of its value to my bottom line as it replaces a unit with 10 A/D or less. Im at 1030 dragons and run about full allies so after another 250 or so dragons i'll find degredation in my gain, but i'll also lose more hydras and such along the way too

That's a pretty decent strategy. I've got a pretty complicated strategy that doesn't involve high priests as I am unable to buy them. I never upgraded my magic unit buildings very far. I don't even have a Wizard's Spire anymore and my magic academy is only level 5. I was never interested in magic units because of their high casualty rate.

Jixx- You can do it if you have a decent IPH. I had mine at lvl 6 forever, and didn't do the 7-10 run until level 120+ (finished around level 137)...though I do not recommend this strategy. :)

Of course, I sold both my level 1 manors for each of the 8/9/10 runs, but an IPH over $10,000 at the time helped (up to $15,000+ IPH now).

But did it with only 170 Hydra and 670 H/Preists , thank to everyone for your well donated gold and leaving you Manors lvl 3 and playhouses lvl 9 for me .anyone else going for their run just hook in ado it quick only cost me 10 gems to recharge energy ! Good night all

it was a big relief to get this stage done although i was checking the waters with just under 550K sitting from yesterday morning to see if anyone looted me rather loose 90k+ THAN 300K+ so when i got home wasnt hit so went for it!
Then this morning i had 2 attacks from people with only 30K A/D !! what tha ! as i am now well over 100K fools.. maybe they should check first ! now on my hit list tick tock !

Save up the money in your bank/vault to upgrade your Water Temple or Beast Kennel. Then while they are in the "upgrade/construction" phase. Buy dragons.

You'll be knocking out two birds. There's absolutely no point in saving any money in your vault unless you are saving for an upgrade. Otherwise, buy dragons. 1, 2...5, 10 at a time. It pays off.

I lost about 5k def during the raids to find gold, levelled up to lvl89. As a free player... Mission accamplished.

In total i lost i think about 1.000.000 due to raids from better players.

But ok... Here i come. Thanks all here for the key tip to increase my Allies instead of trying to hide under the radar.

Congrats P4T!! Great accomplishment. I think it is a lot harder to get it at your level than when I made the run. All I had to contend with then were gold spenders v. some of the people getting BD10s at lvl 50+ now.

O.k 2 hours of work left then home , Heres my plan, (with proper grammer), i should be able to get at least 500K-800K per day in raids and overvaulters, 3 days should get close to 1.5M+ and my own vault 330K gives me 1.8M required for BD10.

Finished my BD10 lately at level 53 starting at level 50 with round about 53k defense. I don't know if I was just lucky or my defense was too strong for most players. But I was not attacked or raided once in all the time I was over my vault (2-3 weeks). Made my run in the minimum time that is needed. Surely pissed some people off by attacking and raiding a lot :D

Update:: I think I may have stuffed My run accidentally , I thought whilst I collect the much needed coin I will upgrade the lumber mill to lvl 9 , sound plan take 36 hours , didn't think I would collect so quick started at full vault 330K now at just over 1.1M with around 600K more required! Still got 33 hours till lumber mill finish..or cost of 320 Gems to quick finish, didn't really want to go the gem road for this, as I only recharge energy if I come across lvl3 manor or higher.
But possibly could finish tonight with luck or should I chance leaving over vault for another 20 hours?

Do you remember when you said we were very similar?

This same exact situation happened to me when I did BD10. I did NOT think I would raid that fast and I had a Bakery upgrading. I had to spend ~40 Gems to finish immediately and then start my BD.

It's entirely up to you. I'm not going to say spend Gems. But, if you make the decision...I'd say it's better than losing hard earned gold. Possibly more than once, too.

Thanks P4T, it wasn't so much of an uphill battle as I thought, the gold flowed in quicker than I thought , I knew I would get hit , but only by lower stat players not checking first, I did have 1 player for some reason did not upgrade his vault, had 190K in it , so I "borrowed" a LOT from him, I did warn him last week to upgrade his vault !
So now back to full adult waiting for the breeding of Dragoons to start .

Finally got a full dragon army today. Now all that is left to do is get my BK and WT from level 5 to 10. It took me about 2 months to collect all the dragons i probally could of done it faster but been busy lately with work, and the PVP LTQ also slowed down the process.

I first tried around lvl 60 and got pummelled every time I went over 400k. This time I sat over 700k for 3 days and only got hit once @ lvl 87. I'm also very low allies which may have helped.

On Tuesday, I spent all day and all evening raiding, but I was getting paranoid that when the Azriella event ended the next to start could be a PvP event, which is what killed my last run before I got to 500k. Then I realized it was my bedtime and I was SO close... so I spent a few gems on energy refills to finish off all the enemies on all kinds of maps that I had knocked down to 1 hit beforehand. Then it was past my bedtime and I had like 1.5 mil and could not trust it to be there in the morning. So I sold a L2 manor and voila!

So, it CAN be done when you're in the low 100s. Not easily, with a lot of effort, and it may take a few tries, but if I could do it, anyone can.

Started the run level 109, stats ~ 135/141.
Clicked upgrade at level 111, with stats ~ 141/147 (that quest was HUGE for my stats, obviously).

Lucky! A few days ago I was at ~320,000 gold when I stumbled upon someone with over 400,000 gold. I started attactking and just kept hitting the raid again button. When I was done I looked at my gold and thought, "I'm pretty sure I raided more than that." That's when I got a little pop up letting me know someone had been raiding me while I was raiding someone else. I quickly started to buy some hydras to get back undervault, but it wasn't quick enough and I got another report screen letting me know I'd lost ~32,000.

Did you build up your Hydra Army first? Your stats are way better than mine and I'm a few levels above you.

Nope that won't work! Better to have max allies as you will be slightly stronger but check your stats ! If your not 20K above average start buying better units . Hydra are a good fill in. I ran with H/Preist and balisik with hydra , but my stats were 20K higher in Defence than attack and work better for my game play. Good luck.
Side note. Upgrade B/Kennel and the like to increase your stats

Well done! I finished mine on Thursday and now have 110 Dragoons, but limit my expenditure to max vault then spend down to 200K that's keep money in the bank for upgrades as well , need to have W/T at 10 so working the figures now
..luck does play a big part and being only hit 1 times is a good effort, I know some get hit multiple times for hundreds of thousands .

The only way to fall off of someone's radar is to stop being within a level of them (at level 102, anyway.) So, if the guy hitting you constantly was also level 102, then he would see people from level 101-103 in his battle list. Your only options to fall off his radar would be to stop leveling and and sit at level 102 and wait for him to level up to 104, thus giving him a range of 103-105 in his battle list. Of course, if he is still at 104 when you hit level 103, you are able to be seen on his battle list once more.

Another option is to go ahead and power level and try to get more than two levels above him. The flaw with this is that the higher level you are, the higher the range seen in a battle list, so eventually, you will be able to be spotted again.

Of course, if you are on his newsfeed, then you're stuck until you fall off of his newsfeed.

Or you could do it the easy way and become allies with him. Removing your allies only makes you and the people you are removing weaker.

You should definitely focus on upping your defensive units. Do you have any High Priests or Hydras? Which BD level are you going for?

What level is your Lumber Mill? You'll want that as high as possible. If you still need to upgrade it, use the time spent upgrading it to buy more hydras or HPs.

Ah, kind of embarrasing really when I see the difficulty people go through, I had under 100.

I tried at 103 but no avail for me, i powered through to 110 and thought this is it !.. new LTQ with killing of 1000's of PVP so up went my level to 113 started my run with 600 H/Preist and no hydra and about 450 Flaming cats (Meow) got hit , as i had BK @7 and W/T @ 6 with L/Mill @8 so wasnt that hard got hit once lost 139K got dejected bought up big with leftovers, H/P hit 700 went for it again got it ! finished lvl 115 BD9, got up to 118 went for BD10 , but collected all in one night of raids, yes i raided like a crazy man ! got 1.7M but i did start at a tempting 500K in vault that morning to see if i would get hit? nothing so went for it but was upgrading building at time and had to finish that , wasnt leavivng 1.7M on the books so coughed up gems to finish upgrade then clicked BD10 ...easy as!

Just started upgrading to BD10 - used the cover of the auction event to raid like crazy and grab the 1.7 million needed for the upgrade. Took 3 days in the end, and I wasn't hit once while overvault, but I probably spent 20hrs or so raiding, only found 2 people overvault the entire time that were worth hitting, so the rest came from buildings, and my 8k / hr.

I did it at lvl 88 with only 31 allies, but extremely dense, just shy of 42k A/D. The recent pve LTQs were a huge help in this regard, although I went from 55 (where I was camping) to the mid 80s from the two LTQs, the boost to my A/D is what made it easy, that and scheduling it when most people were focussed on the auction event.

First of all, BD10 completed yesterday morning.

Second, there's a lot of questionable data out there on what it take to get your dragons. Here's some data on how I did it:

1) I was not in a big rush to get dragons. I was focused on maxing IPH. In order to max IPH, you have to go overvault, and by a lot.

2) I started my overvault experience at level 71 with maximum allies and enough high priests that adding any more added nothing to my defense score. Here's what I started with:


October 16, 2012
Level: 71
allies: 355
high priests: 1040
A/D:37k/68k
IPH: 7839


3) First priority was to maximize IPH. I focused on maxing buildings with at least 12 hours between pickups, based on my style of play. From October to now, I upgraded the following buildings:

Leatherworker L10, L8->L10
Playhouses L1->L10, L1->L8
Manors L2->L5, L2->L5
Lenders L5->L6, L5->L6
A bunch of cheaper, short to build bldgs to get timing right to be ready for next major upgrade


4) This is the most interesting tidbit:

% time over vault limit: 72%
average amount above vault when over-vault: 425k
Longest time over-vault: 8 days (for first L5 manor. Note L8PH and LM8 bought during this period)


5) Attacks

# of people who attacked and won gold > $30k off me: 11
# of people who attacked once: 10
# of new friends who accepted a polite ally request: 10
# of rude people who rebuffed a polite ally request after first attack: 1
Amount this guy took: ~1M gold
Amount of time spent under-vault once I realized he was being a deliberate a** until he leveled past me: 11 days
# of people who took 198k (not counting rude guy): 4
# of times I attacked since October: zero (Keeps you off people's lists)

This is what I learned. First, most people are pretty civilized when you politely tell them you're on your BD run (You can run into the occasional lout). Had some pretty cool exchanges with people who bought quite a few dragons off me.

Second, I didn't find the need to have to go crazy raiding to get gold for the big upgrades. I was normally 2x the vault limit, and had very few attacks. Why? I had a max HP defense for my level, which took me out of play for everyone except dragon owners and gem players. Most dragon owners were relatively new to the experience, so all but one was cool with allying up. Second, I attacked NO ONE during this time period. I was attacked 182 times over this period. 70 of the attacks were from one guy, 80 from the four people who took me for the max amount, and the rest were from people who didn't check my defense score or took less than 30k.

Money helps a lot, and the best are the manors. The bump in IPH is impressive for each manor upgrade. For those not interested in IPH, I bought two L4 manors and 1 L5 manor upgrade by December 1st. A level 4 manor is roughly equivalent to the BD9, and L5 manor is above BD10. If I had gone just for the BD and not IPH, I could have been been buying dragons in about 40 days from my start. I also would have been making 75k less a day for that whole time. What does that mean? Given I could have maxed dragons in about 70 days, I would have effectively lost 70 days*75k or 5.25M gold by getting the dragons first. That's almost two L6 manor upgrades. :-)

Finally, the attack bump when buying dragons is pretty awesome. I'm up almost 5k in attack and 750 in defense already. Woot!

I think it is a very, very small percentage of players who would consider that a small amount of dollars. I also think that the game is evolving over time. Not to long ago it was rare to see dragons and many thought it was impossible to get there. Whale territory was lower and the few whales that existed ruled to roost. BD10 is still an accomplishment, but one that is more and more common. The top players have been maxed at level 200 for awhile and as some of them are competitive by nature they have set their sights on new challenges and what is left are the events. And to win/do very well in the events you pretty much have to use gems.

I have just blown thru 4 levels doing the latest LTQ. While I am still seeing most players with stats below mine I am suddenly seeing the 160k+ raiders. And, there are far fewer people now.

I guess I should have done the BD run before I hit the whale ground!

But, it's a game, right? So- am still having fun. Am planning on camping for a few years to save money for large reptiles......likely chance given the LTQ quests.......

I'm on pretty much the same path and after some boost building upgrades a few levels, getting Lenders to 6 and Manors to 3 or 4 I'll be going for it too.
On top of other income I should then be close to $15k IPH.
I hope that'll be enough, playing it low and quiet. OK there might be some mad raiding when I get close to the end and the nerves give out... ;-)

Check your stats. Buy a dragon. Check your stats again. If they went up, buy another dragon. If they didn't, stop buying - you have enough.

If you are planning to attack someone ecen 1500 wouldn't enough with tihs ****ty casuality rates.. You don't have gold that flows like a tap but fot BD 10 and 1000 adragons you are already spendning around 17.700.000 gold so the rest wouldn!t make a big difference :)

I had a Level 8 Breeding Den about a week ago and through the grind I just finished my level 10 upgrade.

My Advice is to at Max High Priests for your level and ally count.
I personally had another 500 Hydra's to add to that defense. Rockin' 65k Defense at Lvl 75ish @ 250 Allies

I was attacked once and he lost. Lucky I guess.

I think timing played a part in my adventure in that I was mostly overvaulted during weekdays rather than a weekend. Also it was during the Limited Time Quest with 40 levels of monster hunting which in my opinion I believe people were more focused on that rather than searching for overvaulters.

I also felt that doing 8->9 then 9->10 back to back makes it easier on mind when your done since level 9 does not yield a gold unit rather a gem one.

In short I just made sure to hunt monsters at all times and the endless search for Rival Manors and other high level buildings.

Bottom line: Income per Hour. More the better.

I was lucky enough in the low 50s to sneak by and get my BD10. That's not to say I was not hit when over vault, but the main aggressor allied with me. I also chose to sell my two level 2 manors and one level 3 or 4 lender to expedite the move. Some would say it was a waste, but I got there quickly, build a dragon army and have been safe so far.

what are your stats ? A/D, do you have full allies ? are the otherplayers on your level same stats or better ? can you drop 2-3 allies to give you a broader scope of player with a lot less allies ?

I did mine at bout same level and the most important thing is to allie with as many of the high stat players as you can, explain that you are going for the upgrade and most will back off or add you. Raiding is also a big thing it might take a while but you will find what you need if you look hard enough(dropping one allie so you have 499 will help to see a variety of players). Lastly wait till your about 150k away from having enough for the upgrade then kill all the monsters in the PVE so you can finsh all in one shot.

Started my BD10 run last night and completed it this morning (I'm on level 101). A/D 115/113 (started with 116/114, but lost a lot of Hydras and Basilisks, in the relentless attacks and raids).

Thank you to everyone who recently contributed their gold to my kingdom. Your gold was used to pay for the supplies and permits to expand the Wolf Den to BD10. I am proud to announce that, in a few days the wolf cubs will be playing with baby dragons! This should keep the wolfs busy, and out of your chicken coops and your kingdoms... Until they return with the adult dragons (they just don't want to stay out of other kingdoms... it has something to do with uncollected manors).

FINALLY!

I got smacked numerous times and tried off and on for around 2 months. My IPH was just shy of 12k w/lvl 10 farms, but cottages left at lvl 7. I'm at lvl 68 with 75k defense (full HP army and around 300 hydras) and I got hit at around 850k but was able to ally up, get to about 1.4 million with a lvl 8 lumbermill and then sold both lvl 2 Manors just so I could get it over with.

It's hard to camp with the LTQ's that keep running now, but I'll camp until I get my manors back to where they were before I sold them and then I'll start working on dragons and hit the LTQ's full throttle.

I'd like to thank everyone here that's contributed to this thread for the information that I've gotten from it. I found the forum a few months after I started playing and if it weren't for the people here I'd probably still be leveling way too quickly and have an IPH of about 3k. While the conditions that got me to BD10 aren't ideal, I never even would have gotten there without the input and support of people on this forum.

Took me about twenty hours once I started to let myself go overvault last night. Was not attacked at all much to my surprise and delight. In all my raiding I lost maybe five hyrdas and a handful of wyverns.

It depends on your allies. I only have 65 atm, and had before the dragons game 22k a/d. If i lost it was from gold players or dragon players. From lv 50-57 i increased about 5k a/d. With the same allies (or slight increase of 10). I can almost blindly attack any rival atm.

Hi glory, just been through those parts during the recent LTQE's.
I was going to camp hard in the high 40's before they came along, and build IPH ready for a bd run but.....

It actually seems there are more players camping in the high 40's than elsewhere, getting ready for L50.
When I passed through, average A/D was probably in the 30's for these guys. Some up to 70k.

When I clicked over into the low 50's, there were a few camping and upgrading their dens. I was quite amazed how low some of their IPH and stats were. A/D ranged from the high teens ( a few) through the 30's (mostly) with a few in the 70's.

Higher 50's seems to contain people more just 'progressing as usual' without definite plans to camp or build IPH or strength. ie. the randoms, who arent wise to what awaits them and theyll get around to BD upgrades when they get around to them... Some players here have stats still in the teens! Most are in the 20's and 30's. some very strong players passing through have between 70-100k stats. But these guys are normally dragon owners or gem spenders and don't hang around here. I think the pickings at this level are probably too slim and the events keep levelling people up.

So There's some fairly valuable info for down the path, but to get to the point, there'll probably only be a handful of other players sitting at L50 with better stats than you. Make sure you look around when you get there and ally up and you'll be right.

Got my DB10 upgrade running. Not nice to have a Raid LTQ start when I'm overvault with 1,8 mio. and still 7 hours away from finishing BD9. But it worked out!

Paid for a fair bit of them too. Except when I hit the Fire and Ice dragons. Then the PvE takings slowed down...

Keep the faith - you can make the run. During a MW or CC faction/syndicate event may be a good time to do your final push. People will be very distracted during those times. You may also have to be prepared to sell something. Good luck!:D

LvL 125 thanks to these LTQ's. i was LVL 124 when i started my run. Thanks everyone for the congrats. I would say it took 1 day and a half of raiding every half hour or so. Honestly the hardest part was finding anyone over vault and raiding buildings that have not already been raided or collected.

So i bid my time and waited for a nice LTQ to come along and since these last two were separated by like 2 minutes it wasnt hard to make up my mind to go for it. It was now or never.

I really didnt want to be this high in level before i got my BD10 but while i was earning all these awsome units for LTQs I figured I might be able to meet my dragons somewhere in the middle. Better late then never...LOL. By the way i dont own a high priest believe it or not. After reading the forum i realized that i would be wasting my gold and concentrated on getting my Dragons and upgrading high income buildings.

1 advantage i had that some people may not have had was where to put my skill points. with the exception of 5 or 6 points maybe a couple more cant really remember. They all went to HS(164) and Stamina(19). also working on maps to get the skill points for finishing the 4th level.

Really this forum and everyone in it contributed to me getting my BD10. I did it in a non-traditional way. But then i like being unique or doing things the hard way. Lifes greatest lesson are learned the hard way!

Congrats! That's a great achievement to get BD10 over level 100! I'm hoping to do it before then but with all these LTQs and leveling up faster than I expected, it's nice to know that it's still achievable later in game too.

It's very achievable. I got it around L119 or L121, can't remember. I didn't stock up on Hydras or anything. I just made a straight run from BD2 - BD10 with a bunch of Wyverns. My A/D once complete was around 109k A/D. The LTQ did help as people were distracted probably, but I got a lot of gold from it. It was one of those kill the monsters till they drop something LTQ. So of course, drop rate being low I got a lot of gold. Only once was I raided while overvault, but only lost $29k. My IPH was $9145 at that time. It's been 1.5 weeks since I got my BD10, now hae 400 dragons and 215k Attack/205k Defense. My advice is just be diligent, be smart. you don't need high level manors or lenders, that just makes you a target for other people.

Finally built my first dragon, thanks for all the encouragement guys. I did have to sell my 2 level 2 Manors and a level 5 Lender to come up with the cash, but it was totally worth it. I never did a "BD10" run, I just saved 330k, made sure all my big buildings ticked over at the same time, killed a bunch of high value monsters that I had knocked down to one hit, then leveled and did it again, then sold those three plus an 8th lvl temple of healing. Now I am there!

I am 120h lvl and 120k/130k, so if I can do it anyone can.

Be sure to get that Water temple back up so you don't lose the Dragons in combat! You worked hard for them. Do them a favor and build that temple back up!
