Honestly...I liked the chippie in Yiewsley, West Drayton when I lived there, but really, most of the chip shops do pretty much good fish n chips these days. Don't know what it is about the chips here, maybe it's the oil it's cooked in but ask any brit and they will pretty much choose our chips over american fries any day. Not that your fries are bad, they're just different.
If you go to east london you can get pie mash and liquor or elvers. Something they don't really do outta london; cept in the west country the elvers.

Ouch, definitely don't go to Long John Silvers for seafood. Doubt there are many great fish n chips places in AZ as the closest ocean is a few hundred miles away, but go somewhere along the coast in the states and you're bound to find a nice place for that craving.
