Do the PvP missions as well vball, Respect (Valor) is key in CC because the items are indestructible, and they're a whole lot stronger than the cash weapons. Also have a look at this thread (http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?13183-Payout-algorithm-explained), the Type A buildings give you a lot better bang for your buck.

You can also build up to 50 of the defense buildings, as opposed to 5 in MW, so getting a bunch of guard towers to lvl 4 - 6 early in the game will put your defense way ahead of most folks.

Yeah I understand you don't get the full defense score from the buildings, but I still see my profile defense score go up. And even though my profile score isn't my true defense, they still help. Yes, every bit of extra defense does help, provided you know roughly what your true def score is - that way you don't piss off someone you can't defend against. I also keep something upgrading all the time. I just see def building upgrades past level 2-3 as not giving me the best return on my investment as compared to building another def building (assuming there's room for it) or upgrading a cheaper $$ building while saving for a more expensive upgrade.

We just have different ways of accomplishing the same thing. Besides, I never could keep good track of actual def #'s when I did mad upgrades when 1st learning how to play. That jaded me quite a bit, so not upgrading them feels so much better :)

Yeah I have no idea what my true defense is. When I get attacked sometimes I'll try and ask a rival if they remember what my D was on the attack screen, or if they can attack me again to find out. But I've yet to get an answer lol. I know they are pretty much worthless for when I get robbed, because someone with 12k attack to my 30k profile defense will be able to get through.

Ahh damn, I'm at 108, gotta unlock those Exceleros! lol. I just hate how in CC the cash items are worthless, or if they have decent stats they are insanely overpriced. The only decent cash item seems to be that riot shield or whatever with 19 defense that costs 200k.

Guess you'll have to wait a loooonnnng time for help from me. It really is amazing that the cash item prices are so out of whack compared to respect pt items or farmed loot. Don't worry, though. Your dislike for that aspect will eventually be replaced by massive irritation when you finally get high enough to farm the new loot explosives only to find they've been completely nerfed just like the M4A1's were!

Lol that sucks, I'm farming the Empire Central Bus now in the red light district. Can only get maybe 2 a day. But it's a 15/17 unit with a $7m buy in, the cash vehicle equivalent to that costs like $23m lol.

LOL. Farming, even at the lower/mid levels is really the only way to go to get vehicles. It's never made any sense to me why they have the worst cost vs return by far compared with the other items (which aren't very good either). Spend $2000 to get a junker car with 1/1 stats or pay $125 for a baseball bat with the very same stats? Just the quirkiness of Crime City, I suppose.

Yeah too bad they nerfed the Double Decker too ... forget when that was, before my time. But I remember looking at whitefrogs spreadsheet one time and seeing an 18/14 vehicle I could farm and was like SWEET! Then realized after trying the DD had a 5% drop rate at best lol.

Thank you. This is my second day and I'm just buying buildings, collecting and upgrading! Can't believe I'm at level 4 already. I'm not robbing or attacking but leveling up because I'm adding allies and buying units! I thought I'd be at level 1 or 2 for a long time.

Bigflan - Nice about all the cars from your scratchers. You definitely get much more stats from them (even the low level scratchers) then if you bought any type of car.

Vballmadam - It sucks that allies & equipment buys completed some goals, which bumped up your experience. They do make it a little hard to camp for long at the extremely low levels, don't they.

Not sure yet ... I had a little gold saved up before from a previous purchase, so the extra 250 might help me win a boss event now. But if they do the kill 35 thing again, then it probably won't be enough. KA has prizes at 20,30 and 50 ... so hoping they implement something like that in MW.

I've been to Egypt and traveled down the Nile(part of a brief detour when I was on a dig in Syria) and it was beautiful, but when I worked at the American University in Rome I got to truly explore Italy with a few of my colleagues and it really was much more beautiful, and in a lot of ways more gratifying and awe inspiring. Not to mention that the partying in Italy is a lot better than in Egypt....though I'm sure you can pretty much get away with anything in Egypt right now. If you have any questions after you make your choice or before feel free to PM me.
