There's not really a point but as long as you play the game your lvl is still going to go up either way

by fusing i got forgemaster`s garb. Now it is level 15 and I unlocked the + version. And now where do i get the Blackened Leather Strips to craft it?

It was an old boss armor. You can't get the materials anymore unless you've fought that epic boss before.

You can't if it's not craftable. You are stuck with normal version for non-craftable amror from fusion.

It was actually craftable once since it was an old epic boss armor. That's why there was the pop up saying that you've unlock the + version when you level the normal version to level 15.

Back then boss armors were level 50 only, and had way worse stats. Level 50 armors unlock their +counterparts at level 15.

You mean the date when it was out? If I remember correctly, it was OFFICIALLY released on the 22nd
June.
