I would recommend that you go to a tiered process. The highest tier might cost 5000 US dollars to enter but once in everyone battles with the same amount of resources to the conclusion. Because this changes the dynamic from an auction to a true team event I believe it would become extremely interesting to all players and forum members to watch or play. I think that it would generate more income as more teams would entered once the field was leveled. Of course u would have different tier levels at different costs that could fit the skill level of any team..

I know this is easier to conceptualize than it us to turn into a reality but I think it could have a large positive impact to the game.
The tiered process. And a direct buy-in of 5k. I know its just an idea to start off with, but how does the guild purchase this buy in? Does everyone in the guild get charged an equal amount on itunes/android store? Does the guild bank now accept pay-pal? I'm just spit-balling ideas to figure this out, since I've asked you before, and I didn't see a response. I'm curious how you'd have this work. While we obviously have our whale guilds, there are whale players within those guilds that spend far more than others. Do they get compensated or are they hindered now that you might not have everyone willing to shell out $125 for a war.

And as far as finite resources, does the 5k buy in give you anything other than a buy in to the specific tier? Do you get a set amount of gems to spend in the war? I think it would be one hell of an expensive trial run without some specifics as to what people are getting. Obviously if it was fleshed out, you'd know, but without knowing, you'd have many skeptical people who wouldn't want to see it. (like me).

And for your tiers, does each tier have the same rewards? I would hope not. If there is a guild paying 5k for a buy in (which is ridiculously high, you'll only have 1 or 2 willing to buy that tier) and then another guild is paying $100 for a low level buy in, pardon me if I sound rude, but there should be no way in hell they should have anywhere close to the same level or reward. Which to me, sounds like the way war is already setup. Those who have no way of competing against a high level guild, should not be getting the same rewards.

If you are going to move to a tier of any sort, make it a "win" tier. Graduated bonuses for hitting different win plateaus. That way, those small guilds that still play with free energy, can still get an extra little bonus for wins, while the big boys, will get their bonuses just like normal. But, also note that the win tier isn't going to get you the best overall prizes either. There is, in my opinion, no fair way for a low level guild full of low level players, to compete with a fully leveled guild, with maxed players and maxed armors, nor should they. But they also don't deserve the best prizes either.

And to those asking for wars without gems (like below) I ask: what rewards do you expect Gree to give out when they are having a war without generating money?
