But we KNOW that fusing basics works differently than fusing 4 stars. Basics only ever give 1 result. You can't fuse a basic stone and basic spirit and get anything but Chimera. Nothing else is like that, so its entirely possible that we're looking at different pieces of code. Different lookup tables, etc.

By the way, you CAN get more than one result. Fusing fire/earth would yield both molten shroud or volcanic mantle. Also, if Gree made epic+ fusable, it would make sense to make all the other + armors fusable too, whether rare, super rare, legendary or epic.

Edit: also, it's possible to get brawlers from basic earth/spirit. Just wanted to point that out.
