Start requiring people to submit a screenshot of their IP scores from the previous wars. Though I'm guessing at the level of syndicate you're probably referring to, most people don't take screenshots of their IP scores. In which case your playerbase is too big, and your blacklist would be virtually worthless.

Is there any way to save your CC player/account?

From what I understand, if my device breaks, I have to send in a support ticket to Gree to get it on a new device. I have an account that I've sunk plenty of time and gold into. Is there any way to "save" my character without having to wait weeks for gree if my device crashes/breaks?

Edit: I'm thinking you could save al the CC files to a backup but I believe this requires jailbreaking/rooting. Any way to save account besides doing that?

Preload maps means all the jobs that are 10 hits to complete or more than one tap can be preloaded by doing them before the ltq starts leaving it 9/10 completed so the ltq goes quicker and cheaper.
I think ltq's are at level 36
And if you keep hold of your funzio ID ( different to your mob code) it's a much faster process to get your game back from support if device fails

Other than open invitations through the Syndicate Recruitment sub-forum, perhaps word-of-mouth from players in other games (such as Modern War) or trial-and-error. The top echelon syndicates (I'd say top 750) tend to have steeper requirements from applicants, whether it's one's A/D stats, IP numbers from past syndicate battles and/or IPH figures. Unless I had a falling out with the officers or members from a prior syndicate, my take is that you should have stuck around until you found something better, or someone was actively recruiting you via posts on your wall. Being in a top 1500 syn with your stats would have been satisfactory for me; leaving early without options to fall back on would have been a regretable mistake (my 2 cents).

Cheers.how active are you? How many battles did you participate in? High participation has its merits and can often times offset low stats. but with low stats you're destined for 1000-1500 regardless.

Don't know if anyone can help but I'm having problems with the game: since the end of may I can't no longer enter the game using my mobile connection! when loading I get the "An unknown error happened" error and there's no way to make it work. Note that I can play with no problems using wi-fi or other types of connection and that I have this problem just with Crime City and with no other App/games. What do you think? It might be a phone problem (I want to buy a new one, my 2 years old HTC sucks!)? I also switch mobile operator recently so I have no clue what the problem is! It's annoying and it sucks not to be able to play when I want, I continuously get rob!!

I'm sure this idea has been thought of before. But will GREE rollout with Buildings that collect respect instead of Rent? It will be a nice way to get more respect in different ways.

Or what about Syndicate based Properties. They would have to be insanely expensive but another source of Revenue for Syndicates other than generous donations. If not money then Brick buildings that collect bricks for our Syndicates.

Fact: I've bought over 50 night vision goggles (16/16), and upon buying the 51st the marginal increase of my stats were +13/+12.

To to answer your question, NO, its False, as the 51st NVG replaced a 3/4 item.

No matter what kind of equipment or number of anything you might have, a stronger one introduced in your inventory will always replace the weakest of that particular category. Makes it easy if you think of it that way.

Edit: above statement assumes that each of your mafia members is already fully equipped with one of each item category.

Unless you're really close already, it's an absurd amount of cash (far more than any single legitimate player would have on him or willing to spare for $100), and so the only people who would take you up on your offer are cash hackers. Ask Grimmy (Rastas) for recommendations on hackers, since GREE obviously doesn't care enough to ban cash hackers or remove their contributions from syndicates.

The actual transfer takes a few seconds. The procedure less than 5 minutes if you're familiar how to do it. I don't think there's much of a time limit from when you transfer it from your old device until you accept on the new one if that's what you're worried about. (Android user)

For my L229, XP is irrelevant for the most part...

And it bums me out when someone comes through and takes 10 landmines or some sarin gas from me. Or if I fail a robbery (glitched as I never rob anyone higher than me) and I lose explosives there.

Is it best to just buy a ton of the low level explosives and restock at a minimum cost. Save money for non explosive purchases?

Just buy the explosives that you can afford. If your explosives are too expensive with the amount you lose, move to a cheaper explosive.

If losing 10 landmines or whatever is painful for you, then your IPH clearly isn't high enough to be able to afford landmines. The people who usually have landmines have IPHs in the millions. Personally, I've been farming TLCs/Homemade TNT so that I have about 300 nonconsumable explosives and I hope to eventually get to 500 (haven't farmed since the LTQs since I've always prehitting maps now), but the explosives I do have are Anthrax grenades/Stun grenades, even though I could clearly afford better (closing in on $2mil IPH). The reason is that I shouldn't be consuming offensive explosives anyway, as this means I'm attacking/robbing someone whose defense is high enough that I might lose an attack to them and I should instead find a better target. For defensive explosives, I think Stun grenads are like $3000 and I could buy another 500 (although nowadays I only need 200) without batting an eye if I did pick up a dedicated stalker.

Looking at it now, it would cost me $30mil for 200 landmines, which is almost a day's income. But doing so would only increase my defense by ~3800, which at my stats is probably not going to dissuade anyone strong enough to attack me. It's a 1-2% boost in my defense, and usually you need to be ~25-30% stronger than someone to successfully attack someone consistently, so in my opinion that's not worth $30mil to me when I could be putting that towards an LTB or a NC upgrade.

How valuable the defensive explosives are will be based on your own evaluations of things, but it's clearly not worth it in my opinion, which is why my ultimate goal will still be to farm 500 nonconsumables.

If high scoring ip member, spoke of leaving team after battle, then leader would be able to screw him over, by removing before rewards were given. Which level are you?
Because u get to use 5 maffia for each level. (so level 100 * 5maffia = 500)
Ofcourse the max maffiacount = 500
1 maffia member uses 1 gun, 1 melee, 1 armor, 1 explosive and 1 car. (5 weapons total)

Say u are lvl 50.. u use 50*5 maffia = 250 maffia..
250* 5 = 1250 weapons in use..

Hello, I've been playing crime city for probably 10 months now and I have also spent a decent amount of my money buying gold. I log in every 10 minutes in my game and, as I was doing such today, all of a sudden it said there was an issue with my account. I already put a request in with gree support and waiting to hear back. In the meantime I completely hard resetted my phone and had to redownload everything. This did not work for me and I still cannot access my account. I did video offers and other offers today to earn myself some more gold but that's it. I'm quite upset seeing how I'm missing out on the case event and the battle is in two days and my top 50 syndicate really needs me. Can anyone help? Thank you very much.

Because you're on Android. That number being displayed is the number of unique items you bring to battle (e.g. of your top 500 of each weapon). For example, if your 251st-500th strongest gun is the Steyr AUG with 7 attack, that shows up as "1 equipment," not 250 equipment. It's a meaningless numbnumber anyway, so don't worry about it. I just attacked someone to see what mine was, and it was 409 equipment. The syndicate wars seem to use the iOS display though, and during war it will tell you 2500 equipment assuming you do have 500 of each category item.

1. No, you probably didn't notice, but the higher level building's payout was already increased 10%... I guess it works "retroactively."

2. You should have one item of each type for every mafia member, up to 500. If you're level 50 and you only bring 250 mafia members to battle, you don't really need (for example) 500 vehicles yet. Vehicles are always the last to fill up, and you get that annoying pop-up telling you your mafia is weak if you don't have enough vehicles, and at some point, I just said, "fine" and bought 200 motorcycles (none of which I bring to battle any more). If you have more mafia (up to your level's limit) than vehicles, every time you purchase a vehicle, you will gett the full effect of the stat. For example, if I had 500 mafia and 300 vehicles at level 80, my level's mafia limit is 400, so I am bring 100 mafia members to battle without items. Thus if I were to buy 100 motorcylces (2/2), I would get 100 * (2/2 item) = 200 attack / 200 defense stat boost. Normally a purchased item replaces the weakest item of that type in your inventory. So if I had 400 Junkers (1/1), and I purchased 100 motorcycles (2/2), the 100 Motorcycles replace 100 Junkers for a 100a/100d boost.

3. Nowadays, just events. At your (presumably) low level, probably camping. If you're in a syndicate, that's probably why your defense is higher than your attack, since your syndicate probably has the cheaper defense bonuses instead of the more expensive attack bonuses. You mean check a mafia member's stats before accepting their request? I'm not sure you can, but I don't see why you'd ever need to do that. You could always accept, check their stats via their hood, and remove them if you had to. I haven't not been in a syndicate for so long that I don't even remember how you get syndicate requests (and if I was joining a syndicate, I'd already know who they were already). I'd recommend the same course of action, probably, if you needed to check the syndicate's bonuses or their members profiles, etc. Join, check them, and leave if they aren't to your liking. Sorry.

150k defense at that level isn't that crazy. I have a syndicate member at 72 with 300k defense. Here are the most likely factors (in order) that are contributing to their stats:

1. Top syndicate prizes
2. Events
3. Camping
4. Gold items

Gold spending is kind of inherent in the first two, especially if they have the top syndicate/event items, but I wouldn't be that surprised to see a 150k defense as a free player. You probably haven't run into anyone who spends thousands of dollars on gold yet, but I'll bet they have better than 150k stats. :D

Well, if it was my syndicate I'd put more of the burden for bricks on the high level players. As for respect, you get a lot of RP per attack, sure, but you also get just as much XP usually. The best theing to do there is to rob buildings with a high RP per XP payout. E.g. no modifiers, I think a level 7 and under Laundromat gives 2RP per 1XP, and you can usually rob it three times. I also used to rob a lot of Lofts and Collection Agencies.

Improving your stats is kind of like getting a large boulder rolling. It's hard and takes a lot of patience at first, but once it gets rolling it's a lot easier. You camp a lot, you get better stats, then better syndicates want you which allows you to get better syndicate prizes, etc. I have no idea how good 50k defense at your level is any more, but you can always start a camping account if you want.

I've noticed that I get a 10% bonus on Robbery payouts when robbing a player below my level and I'm curious why. None of my modifiers explain this behavior, plus it's been this way since before I had any item modifiers, though I've always had Goodfella status. Cam I was talking about the Hardcore Hitman goals, the kind that appears each time you level ("Defeat X opponents at Level Y or higher").

The Thug Life goals ("Defeat X rivals with at least Y/500 mafia") go up to Thug Life 500.

I'm at Thug Life 279 right now and man do those take forever. If you're at 223 then you still have to win over 40,000 more fights to get to 500.
(To calculate: Since the number of fights required increases by one every 3 fights, calculate the 'Gaussian Sum' or 'Triangular Number' between the number you have to win for your current goal, 105 at TL223, and the last goal, 197 at TL500, then multiply by 3.)

Camping is a dead strategy. Just be sure to use your level ups effectively because your energy/stamina/health all refill each time.

I hate when people ask "what are good stats for my level?" Why don't you look around your level and find out? The stats that were good for a level 29 when I was 29 are obviously not even comparable thanks to all the new events, stat inflation, etc. Find someone on level 29 (or some sort of camper account) and ask them. Or just take a look around your level-- how many people can you attack, how many people can attack you? If you close your eyes and blind attack someone off your rival's list, what are your odds of winning?

Don't listen to Dippy. If your goal is to be strong for your level, don't do the LTQs. The LTQs are meant for high level players, with lots of energy and little concern for XP costs. They aren't meant for people at level 26 or whatever. I wouldn't even think about bothering with LTQs until you're at least level 100, when boss events become irrelevant for 95% of players. If you feel like sitting at level 40 for a year only doing boss events once every month or two, knock yourself out. All the new events benefit high level players and I'd be in a hurry to take part in them.

LTQs for high level players, boss events for low level players, LTBs for high IPH players, case events for everyone. I've never "camped" per se, but there's nothing wrong with going out and robbing low level laundromats for the high RP / low XP ratio while avoiding buildings like Meat Factories or whatever. I could never be a pure camper because it's too boring, but if I'm strong enough to hit people 50-100 levels above me, I don't see what the rush in leveling up is.

Goodfella was the first thing I bought with gold, definitely worth it. You're already getting the 10% income bonus, so the Goodfella bonus would speed up your stamina and energy regeneration by 10% each.

No. I started this event two hours late, and my wall was a steady stream of green. Didn't count. Might count for a very, very small amount of Brawl Points, but not as a win for the Street Brawl goals.

Actually I did not spend THAT much effort in the syndicate showdon event...

But to do so I need to overcome my current problem which is android related:
My statistics are screwed up and nearly all loot items from the last 3 months do not show up at all in my inventory.

This happened already 3 times to my account and usually get solved once a new data set gets provided. So now I am really looking forward to the new data set for the Mayor Turnball event!

Depends on who they are. As much as I enjoy robbing huge amounts of cash from someone, I wouldn't constantly harass someone for no reason. That said, it's not my fault if they're consistently not collecting on their buildings on time or have a weak defense, and it's not like if I don't rob them, then no one else will. So I would probably avoid going overboard if someone's nice (perhaps just grabbing their biggest earners, NCs, LTBs, etc.), but robbing is part of the game.

However, if someone is a blatant time traveler, then I have no mercy for going to town on their buildings at any hour of the day, no matter how nice they are to me.

I have been playing CC for quite a while and I think I have been doing things wrong.

#1 question: What is camping? I have heard a lot of comments about it, even read a guide to camping that was uninformative, what is it?

#2 question: Can you create multiple profiles on the same device? ie iPhone

#3 question: Without spending a ton of real cash on gold, how do players get crazy stats at low levels? I understand about syndicate bonuses and I am active in the mini tourneys that give extra loot items...but it seems like some players have WAY inflated stats, how?

#4 question: I have a relatively low IPH for my level (lvl 199; IPH $169k), I am trying to constantly upgrade my loft and brownstones, any advise to get my IPH higher quicker?

How do you deal with a good rob target that you take from regularly, but has started to post on your wall (rather nicely) asking you to stop. Do you give in and lose a good rob target? Or do you talk smack to them? Do you just ignore them and continue pillaging?

How do you deal with the whiner that can't take the heat?
There is an unwritten 'code' among thieves that suggests what they should / shouldn't do, but there's no mention that one thief can not steal from another, or that one should relent if asked nicely. :p

I've never had anyone ask me to stop robbing them, but then again, I've jumped a few levels in the past few weeks, so chances are if they're camping, my visits would be temporary anyway, and I'll have to start scouting rivals again for LTBs.

But building stats from cash collected from buildings isn't really helpful because the items you can buy are so inferior to those that are won from LTQ events or from prize loot.

My syndicate also has the 25% bonus, but if I camp and grow my hood and upgrade more...I feel that is selfish because I wouldn't donate to my syndicate.

It's called camping because they spend so long on each level (sometimes not moving at all, just building up their IPH, etc) and only performing jobs/events that will give them nice stats for little XP (typically boss events and syndicate wars).

That's a stat gaining snowball that's hard to catch up to without yourself also being in a top syndicate (e.g. if I'm in a top 10 and you're in a top 25, that means every syndicate war I'm getting an extra ~10k/10k item, and that's a stat difference that is hard to make up via the non-war events like LTQs, so I imagine the difference between Top 10/25 and Top 500 or whatever is probably absurd-- not to even mention how those modifiers like +5% gun attack etc accrue over time). Back in my day, huge stats at a low level typically meant either RP hacker or big gold spender. I don't have a low level account, but I'm guessing that there are a lot of high stat/low level players who got there via syndicates. Many top syndicates have low level players/campers that they just use as DL killers (2 power attacks). Ignoring the modifiers, which are the really valuable part, the Top 10 prizes of the upcoming syndicate war sum to a boost of 29,800 attack / 34,486 defense (not to even mention modifiers, syndicate bonuses, etc). And that's just one war. You can't compete with that as a free player, or even as a gold player completing all the other events (especially because a camper gains no XP, I believe, for losing power attacks to the DL, whereas you'd level a ton by doing the LTQs at a low level).

Yeah, quit upgrading the Brownstones, keep leveling the Lofts until you can save up enough for a level 2 Nightclub ($40mil + $66mil upgrade without modifiers-- or actually, save up $40mil to build an NC, but don't spend any money on anything else until you get the NC to level 2). Then build the NC, upgrade it to level 2, and save up enough to do that again (building a second one and upgrading that to level 2). Then you alternate upgrading NCs. The Nightclub is by far and away the best building and should be the center of your economy-- meaning you should always be saving to upgrade the NCs, and spending your money on smaller upgrades to kill time while you save (I never spend more on an upgrade during this period than what that building's upgrade time is times my IPH. This is just my rule of thumb, but basically if my IPH is $2mil/hr, and a building upgrade I'm considering takes 30 hours, I would spend no more than $60mil on such an upgrade. If it costs more than $60mil, I need to dip into my bank i.e. "Nightclub upgrade fund" to do so, and that's never worth it. Among these qualifying upgrades, I upgrade the one that will boost my IPH the most. Typically there's a hierarchy of buildings I have to upgrade, which is something like NCs > Pagodas > Lofts > Gentlemen's Clubs > Rock Cafes > Upscale Clubs / etc. Typically the Type A buildings (NCs, Pagodas, Lofts, Movie Theaters, etc) are the ones that boost your IPH the most, and the relative worth of upgrading those Type B buildings depends on their level. I haven't even upgraded a non-NC/Pagoda building since the start of the LTBs, though, and I probably won't for as long as LTBs are going on, because it's better to save for future LTB upgrades then spend them on a Type B building upgrade that provides only a tiny IPH bump for a relatively large cost. I don't even know where my LTB upgrades fit on my hierarchy, because currently all of my LTBs cost more than my NCs to upgrade.

You may only change your class to Goodfella, which can be found through Menu -> Profile -> Upgrade. The Goodfella class provides all three of the other class boosts. Whichever class you were previously, you will retain that boost while gaining the other two boosts."

The Goodfella is still the best use of gold, though, but if you don't want it you can try sending a ticket into GREE asking for a refund.

The rule is I don't donate anything because we have all the bonuses and more than enough hideouts. :D

The current events (LTBs, etc) kind of change how it was when I was donating to my syndicate, though. I was donating a large chunk of my income I collected daily because the syndicate bonuses are quite valuable to everyone, and a 25% increase in all your stats is huge. I think nowadays I'd be more conflicted about how much I'd donate and how much I'd save for my own LTBs, but I would probably go off whatever rule was established for the syndicate (e.g. 2x your IPH min daily or whatever). I wouldn't feel terribly obligated to donate a lot of in-game cash, though, because of my specific circumstances in that there are other people in my syndicate who have IPHs high to get their LTBs to 10, and not to mention that I'm an above average IP scorer so I wouldn't be too worried about losing my spot or anything.

Im planning on saving about 70Million by the next district so would it be better to spend on a NC upgrade to level 2 or to buy the next ltb assuming that it will be a bit cheaper than the current one based on the pattern so far

Don't assume anything. Upgrade your NC to level 2, and build a second one and upgrade that to level 2 as well before you start participating in LTBs. Once your IPH is about ~$1mil, you can neglect your NC upgrades for a while (please see: http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?58005-Night-club-or-toy-box&p=820324&viewfull=1#post820324). That seems to be tough advice for most people, who seem convinced that it will help them in the next LTB, even though it would actually hurt them (by not only losing the money for upgrading the NCs, but also by the opportunity cost of the amount of money the NCs would have produced had you not upgraded them). It basically puts you in a deep hole, and it takes more than one event for you to get back to where you started.

The only thing that would cause me to reevaluate this opinion is if someone were to be able to upgrade multiple buildings at once, which would significantly reduce the opportunity cost of deciding to upgrade your NCs instead of an LTB.

I wish I had put more points into stamina early on I'd love if there was a gold option for a respec of the stats that was limited to like once a lonth, I'd pay 100 gold for that ability, as I want more stamina!

Attack and defense skill points are useless. Spend your skill points on stamina and energy. You want to have at least 1000 energy and at least 50 stamina, so that you can get a full refill if you spend gold (e.g. during LTQ/PvP events).

I now have approx 400 mafia, every time I added a mafia member previously my stats would automatically increase, from between 30 points each, to sometimes 150, now however than don't.?
I have over 300 weapons of most types (8000 or so in total) so you would think sufficient? Why are my stats not increasing anymore when I add??

You can take an additional 5 mafia members with you to battle who can each carry 5 weapons so level 1 you can battle with 5 members, level 2 10, etc. etc.
This goes on until level 100 where you can fight with 500 mafia.

I'm on level 79. I understand your answer I think?? So why when I now add a new member, 401, 402 etc, that new mafia member is not taking an additional 5 items as my stats are not increasing either def or att. ??

79*5 is 395. You can fight with 395 mafia members. Each one brings 1 gun, 1 melee weapon, 1 piece of armor, 1 explosive, and 1 veichle to battle.

On android, the "Equipment used" is counting the number of unique items used. If your 250 guns are all the same, e.g. the Steyr Aug, they would count for 1 equipment used, not 250.

I want to increase my stats and have invested a lot of money in equipment but I'm still only sitting on 77k defence and 66k attack. What is the best strategy for this shall I just invest in the mega expensive tools guns melee armour etc or just gradually build all types ??? I currently have over 15000 pieces of kit

Participate in events. With the type of items you get from events, spending on anything else is a waste of time. E.g. all cash should go into LTB events, etc.

If you have 500 members in your mafia, is if better if they are at higher levels in the game? Does it make your attack or defense any better? I.e. you are at level 230 with 500 members, half are levels less than 75, would it be better to drop the low level players and get higher level players?

I've always played with a super long term strategy in mind. That basically means that everything is worthless unless you can buy top tier items (e.g. the Siege Launcher gun, which becomes available at level 169, the Assassin's Coat, which becomes available at 165, the Battle M1A1 tank, etc). Even still, the current event items are making those look worthless by comparison still. If you still really need to stock up on items, I personally would spend the bare minimum necessary to give you however many stat points you need to remain relevant, which probably means buying the cheapest/most cost-effective items available (e.g. the Night Vision Binoculars for Armor etc).

On the first, the exact figure has been posted before. I believe it's in the vicinity of 1-10000. Anecdotal evidence suggests that this is tied to level and/or stats, with the odds getting worse the stronger you get.

On the second, if you're willing to red/green them you can get through true defense 50% stronger than your attack.

Thanks for the answer, makes since on the scratcher. I hit 10m on this account when it was a really low level and have only gotten 1 4 scratcher which happened to be another million since then and ive had this account for about 3 months now.

Similar situation here. I believe I read in blue text on here somewhere that you're supposed to wait 1 minute before before using your attacks (as if it were only giving you 99hp?), but I don't think that helps either. Sorry, wish I knew the answer to this too. Sending in a ticket to complain about it doesn't help much either.

Gree deny the 3 hits. It's claimed two get done at once by accident, and if you check your hits before you start and a few minutes after the 3 hits it will of logged 4. Personally I think it's just there way of stealing more of players gold.

Agree with this. I haven't taken the time to verify the claim because its pretty hard to keep track and count of when it's going to happen, but I really should. It happens often enough to be really frustrating.
