My syndicate leader is currently banned. I believe due to language and or/threats I have no idea why and he has not shared the reason however, I would like to know if the ban is only for a certain number of days or is it permanent? secondly, Is there a way to assign someone else to lead the syndicate so that we don't lose anything we have already donated?

We have the same issue. Our leader has been banned and no way to reassign to someone else.
Gree should do something but attempts to reach them were unsuccessful so far

Depends on how badly you need loot items. If I were you, I'd stay under level 76 until the next boss event, which means you can't really do much looting. Personally I've been looting the hell out of the nonconsumable explosives since they're far more valuable than cash items, but I'm not expert. They also recently changed the level requirements for the maps, so I have no idea what maps you can even see up to-- can you see Trackside Slums or Cartel Compound?

Been playing a few months... probably a terrible player but I am giving it a go.

I have developed a stalker...
The guy attacks and loses every time, but succeeds in 1 out of 5 robberies so he isn't getting much.
More of an annoyance than anything... however... I can't rob him back.
He never has any buildings to rob... ever.
3 days now and none of his buildings ever has anything to rob.
Based on his attack pattern over the last 2 weeks I would guess that his prime time is ahead of me by 8-10 hours.
I watched him for 3 hours this evening, none of his buildings had any money to loot for 3 hours.
I would load his hood every 3 minutes by going back to mine... then news... revenge, etc.
His profile listed the same amount of money so he either keeps that exact amount in hand every time he loots or his builds ARE lootable and I simply cannot do it.

So my questions... he is 3 levels below me now, and not leveling at the same rate I am.
In 2 weeks I have gained 3 levels and he has not gained any so he is just camping there
and being an annoyance to me at best.

But I cannot rob him back at all?
Why is that?
I have tried:
- Reinstalling the game
- Transferred the game to another device
- Wiped data

Yet I still cannot rob him back.
Is there an issue with out level gap that is preventing that?
Certainly there is an explanation as to why this is going on.

I did not know you could leave them robbed and they would stay that way...

I actually tried to attack him over the course of him sleeping and I attack him just over 60 times.
I then left some buildings alone and did not collect... and he was able to come back and rob me so the option to revenge is still on his list.

This is an interesting thing for me because I would like to learn the mechanics and his theft of $200 isn't hurting me at all but I do not understand what mechanic HE is using to be able to rob me while I can't seem to be able to do it back.

I have started to time his attacks and they are damn near on the minute these last 2 days
so I am wondering if this is some kind of hack being utilized.

Anything else I can give a go?

If you attack or rob him he has a link to your hood. If you have uncollected buildings he can rob you.

You can only rob him if he has uncollected buildings. Since he is collecting on time, that won't happen. So don't attack or rob him.

Another thing. Just because his building are collected doesn't mean he's using s cheat to do it. A lot of people here set timers to collect their buildings on time.

I got another quick question.

On Android, on the attack screen, I can usually only see four digits of the person's defense. Usually I can infer what it is based on the results of an attack (e.g. if I know I have 70k attack and I lose to someone whose defense says "2324", I know it is 232k, but if I win it's 23.2k, etc).

However, I can't tell if I'm winning an attack right now against a player because he's a hacker with a 6-digit defense, or if it's because he has a weaker 5-digit defense than me (but probably too strong for other syndicate members). No, the top inventory list didn't help.

This is a roundabout way of asking, how can I see their full defense from the attack results screen on Android?

That was a limited time special item. When you attack/rob a player, you can click on this item in their inventory. In that case, I believe it would say "X gold" and "LIMITED" on the top, indicating that you couldn't buy it even if you had the gold.

yes it matters.

no you can't, you get double points only for hits that happen after the wall goes down.

A rival and I have been exchanging blows for several days. I've tried to set a timer from the moment I got the "player is too beat up" message but noticed his health regen isn't the same 1H 40 Min like in boss events or syn wars.

Does anyone know how much time it is for rival to regen health so I can launch more attacks? Does it vary by level perhaps? Is it because I can hit 13 times and have to wait longer because of this?

Referring to the last page, my post #76 regarding regen times for rivals.

After thoroughly testing the regen times, I believe I've discovered some previously unknown info. The reason why it isn't 1 hour 40 min or it isn't 2 hours is because there's a boss event occurring. If your opponent is in the middle of a 2 hour boss battle and their health isn't full, you can not attck them without getting the "player beat up" message.

I used a friend's account Vs mine at same level to verify this. This means your cash is safe and doesn't need to be banked during that time but as soon as you have full health again you can be attacked.

Your health is shared in this fashion and I wonder if the same thing applies during syn wars. I'd guess that would be the case.

At full collection rate you would make just over 800k in that time. Robberies will make you the most but will level you fast too.

I am not getting my 75% bonus. I have sent in two tickets with no response in 5 days.

That is your 65% mod. They changed it to +2. (Same with the syndicate energy mod).

edit/the mod used to glitch, and give 7 energy/cycle, but was rectified about a month ago, so your friend might not have realised the change.

I have 2 pagoda in my hood but interestingly I can only select one . The other pagoda I can visibily see but cannot select it. when I try to select it something around it gets selected. In my money building section I do not see any more to construct which means my both pagodas should be there. Anybody with similar issue or knows how to fix it?

sound like you overlap it with another building i have this problem when you pack small buildings together.

Bala is right. You have to increase separation between the offending building and your pagoda. I had a park bench in my hood and if I tried to select anything within a two inch radius of it the game would select that damn bench instead. I sold the decoration because it was giving me so many problems.

You can move offending building away , upgrade pagoda and then put it back if you want. You can still collect money from it even though another building is usually selected when you want to select it for viewing it's stats.

Edit: no, you don't get duplicate prizes for multiple pagoda. Concentrate on upgrading jus one of them for the event.

1. By rank. first battle you could get matched up with anyone I'm pretty sure.
2. False. IP is determined by level disparity between you and the individual rival you are battling against for each attack. Walls and hideouts give approx. 50 IP per attack(varies)
3. False. The reason why one person gets picked on sometimes is they have high level and low def giving best IP.

Yes, it's based solely on points (IP). Win/Loss means nothing except maybe psychologically.

Colten, You can go to crimecitymafiacodes.com and post your mafia code. You will get between 5-15 invites from players who enter your code. You can do this about every two hours or so until you have as many as you need. Alternatively, you can invite other people's codes on that website. More tedious that way but you gain mafia more quickly.

That's by far the best way.

Hi all, i want to ask if anyone knows the answer for the above issue. i ever visited a rival player's hood and saw that the player manage to trap his avatar inside a square 6 x 6 sized garden made up of sidewalk bushes. The player also put a fountain in the middle of the garden and the avatar was seen walking around in circle inside the enclosed garden and around the fountain. This really looks interesting and i wanted to learn how he did this. I believe that there is no advantage in trapping your avatar in a garden when it comes to game strategies. However, i believe it is just for visual entertainment only. Too bad that i did not take a screen shot. i send a request to him to add me but he did not reply. Can anyone help? Can anyone share how this is done? I hope the senior members can greatly assist me. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I am playing this game now for ages, 2 1/2 years at least and quite frequently.
However with 500 mafia and lvl 205 i find myself surrounded by unbeatable opponents. My stats are 63k/92k. Is there any way to compete with spenders? Even 100k attack seems unreachable.
I have been farming compound now for almost 1 year and got hardly 300 bombs as this seemed to be the "fastest" way to improve somehow but the droprate has been significantly reduced since i started.
I cant finish events even though I open "boxes" about 16/24 daily. Never got the 10th which seems to be the only somehow reachable event.

Boost your IPH, accumulate the cash and RP weapons as appropriate, and go as far as you can in events (esp LTQ, building upgrade, etc - these give excellent prizes for completing the higher levels.

i just upgraded pagoda lvl 4 for 70+mil and got a nice car (best item) but now i'm done, no more cash. iph is close to 1m and all the good 24/48h buildings cost 100+mil to upgrade. Bought 2nd pagoda which should boost iph a bit more but dont have the 111mil for lvl 5.
I'm mixing upgrades and Infiltrator suits (2,5mil) to boost income and stats. still it seems like i'm getting nowhere...thx 4 advise though, appreciated

My guess would be that you remembered the numbers wrong. There is no reason why your stats would drop when buying items. Unless you were losing mafia members at the same time.

There is a glitch right now where everyone is getting paid more then they should be. However, it is being deducted fast when it refreshes... so it makes up for it.

trying not to give a syn member bad advice here.

He built Pagoda and wants to upgrade to lvl 2 but the event will end 1 hour before his lvl1 to lvl2 upgrade. I told him it would be worth it to spend gold in the last few minutes of the event as his Pagoda will have less than an hour left to upgrade at that time.

Prize is melee 400/450 and I told him it would take way less than 100 gold to upgrade with only an hour left on the clock and it's worth it to spend gold.

About how much gold would it take to force the upgrade with less than an hour left? Less than 50 gold probably?

Don't spend gold on the case event. The odds of getting 10th have been greatly increased and many free players are getting 10th.

Wait till last minute on case event. If you still didn't get 10th then spend the gold if you like but I think it's better to use it on the player upgrade to Goodfella.

Italian restaurants are your best bet! don't spend the gold on that gun yet. save it and collect more. just my opinion. because 150 isn't going to promise you get the gun. Set a timer and open a case with cash EVERY hour. Don't miss one and you may find yourself with a pretty decent look on case items when this one ends. Also, load up on cases, getting them from robbing other peoples laundry mats. save the respect points you get from that and ride your game in to overtime for the event. You may find yourself getting that tenth one in overtime.

It's 15 gold for a gold case open. 150 gold is nowhere near enough to ensure you get the gun with 9/10, let alone 1/10 (you're misunderstanding how the gold opens work, I presume: a gold open guarantees a "successful open", meaning you will get something-- cash, loot, or the "twin swords"-- it does not guarantee that you will get the twin swords needed for the item. In fact, the common slap in the face at high levels is to spend 15 gold for a gold case open, and receive $10k cash-- a terrible exchange rate! I don't know what the new odds are, but it used to be the case that you could spend an entire vault of gold (1500 gold) and STILL not get that 10th item (in this case, twin swords).

As others said, your best bet is to just keep using cash opens every hour. Save your gold.

"Overtime" is when the event has technically ended (which I believe is something 15 hours from now), but you don't close your game or update or do anything that involves restarting your game. After 15 hours from now, it will say "Event Ends: SOON!", but so long as you don't close your game, you can keep opening cases every hour. Personally, I haven't been very lucky with this, as it's usually just a matter of time before my game crashes (and hence the end of "overtime"). Worth a shot, though. There will be many events, don't rush to spend your gold now.

You might be too weak to be of any value into a syndicate, but you could try requesting to join syndicates from the in-game syndicate menu, or you can check the syndicate recruitment forums here.

Even at your low stats, you can make yourself very useful by being active and sacrificing yourself on the Defence Leader or Hideouts. It'd be appreciated by the team.

I have +70% to respect from fights. How is it possible to end up with just 1 respect from a fight? Even if I got 1 respect from the fight before bonus, if you add 1 + (0.70*1) shouldn't it at least round up to 2 respect at minimum for every win? What kind of math is being used here?

I'm also concerned my building collection bonus is not being calculated correctly. I have seen my building collection amounts fluctuate up and down recently without any changes to my stats or syndicate. Has anyone else experienced this?

T-Shirts to around 5 or 6 and then ice creams all the way. T shirts are awesome early on, they give you large bulk and they were what got me to my first MT. You should join a syndicate with 25% building output bonus so you can get more IPH.

Also, laundromats to 6 or 7 are also a smart idea.

That's a difficult question to answer it depend on Mafia bracket and average rival strength

Honestly, with all the stat inflation that is going on, this is a really hard question to answer. Also, it depends on your play style, it you want to rob and attack all day, just make sure you are stronger then 60-70% of your rivals, so you can always find someone to rob/attack.

Otherwise, I think the best answer is strong enough so you can no-bank. You should slow down until you win 90% (ideally 99%) of the attacks against you. If you are winning less then this, only participate in events, collect your income and accumulate scratchers on a daily basis.

Fairly certain that's just superstition. I'm all about maximizing the value of my gold, and what I've been doing in collect-10s has been using cash opens to start, and only switching to gold open (no timer resets) by the last 1-2 days depending on how many items I have at that point. The last collect-10 was ridiculously easy, and I went from 7 to 10 in just 3 gold opens. Probably could have held out on the gold opens if I wasn't afraid of having to use timer resets.

The issue now is that I have ICS 7/8 and Italian 7/7......each upgrade to THESE don't provide me as much benefit as a single upgrade to my loft, or an upgrade to my movie theater. However, their upgrade time is around the same (sitting about 31-48 hours).

Should my focus now be on preferentially upgrading my lofts, my movie theaters (both level 4), or what? Should I just upgrade whichever one finishes the quickest? What about putting off IR/ICS upgrades for a while (until saving for nightclub)? Given my looting and robbing schedule, I'll most likely be able to hit level 4 loft with no income downtime.

We will see more LE buildings in the near future if GREE continues with LTQ Events. So maybe use your cash for Hood Expansion, save some for Nightclubs (still the most wanted building I think) and wait for other buildings to come. Pagoda for example can be upgraded in short time if compared to a Casino or brownstone...These buildings are really helpful if you Focus on iph.

I upgraded MTs until I could afford lofts, and I upgraded lofts until I could afford NCs. My MTs stopped at level 5, and my lofts stopped at level 4, at which point I was able to build and upgrade a NC to level 2. However, I'm also a prolific robber, and at the time I made most of my income from robs. Since then, I've only upgraded my NCs (and more recently the LTBs, but that's another story). It basically comes down to the fact that NCs are far and away the best building, and the only reason I upgrade anything else is that I can't afford my next NC building, so I skim a tiny bit off the top so that I can always have a building upgrading. I have a clear hierarchy of buildings I would upgrade after NCs provided that the upgrade doesn't set me back in my NC-savings fund given my current IPH (unfortunately the LTBs have messed this strategy up, and I've spent NC-funds on upgrading Pagodas/Dockside Mills). My hierarchy of buildings to upgrade is this: NCs > Pagodas > Upscale Clubs / Churches / Rock Cafes > Lofts > MTs.

The Upscale Clubs and Churches are still fairly low level, and I'll probably stop upgrading them for a while at 5/6, since after that, Type B buildings don't seem like too great of an investment. I haven't even gotten down to the lofts on my hierarchy, I don't think. I think my lofts were 3/4 when I built my first NC, and I upgraded the other loft to level 4, and haven't touched it since. The NCs make up the bulk of my economy, and the fact that they produce enough in a day to make a $22mil Upscale Club upgrade seem like a pittance, so I don't even mind if it's not technically the most sound investment decision. If I ever get time to save any money in between Limited Time Building events, I'm probably only going to upgrade NCs and Pagodas for a while.

Then my "ultra-saver" options - Frosty, Loft, MT (the ones which are essentially completely free, with relatively long upgrade times) which I use when I would otherwise need to do 2 of the non-NC upgrades.

As others have noted, LTBs screw with this, and I haven't really hit a point where I'd make hard decisions about Pagoda upgrades (my seconds is on L3, so is the obvious next upgrade - when the upgrades go north of $100m it'll be a tougher choice). I think the power of the Pagoda will shake up the process for a fair while. Or at least until an LTB that is cheap enough for me to smash through straight away pops up.

I'm new to playing this and level 20 I have 1067 defence and attack and I can never attack and win against anyone because they all have 3000, 7000 etc even at the same level as me 20, how am I meant to even play this and complete attack missions when everyone's levels are so much higher? Well here a tip when you go rival profile look at the inventory they have and figure out if they are gold player, free player or a camper .

Gold player are those players with muiltiple crate item and have good item with ( more 100 attack)

Free player have only basic weapons and couple of scratcher item ( usually 20-30)

Campers these are player who have been at low level for 6 or more months ( They will usually have 100 scartcher items).

Your best bet is find free player who don't understand the game ( if you hood who adbandon building at level 10 they are easy target because defence is inflated you should be able beat them)

Your second option is become a camper slow build your hood and defence over next couple of months.

I have an In-App purchase hung up. iTunes has already refunded my money however the CC App keeps trying to complete the download. Getting the below error. Ive submitted a ticket but not getting any kind of response from support.

"You've already purchased this In-App Purchase but it hasnt been downloaded". Ive deleted the CC app and reinstalled several times, rebooted the phone several times.

Anyone know how to fix this, its draining my battery at 13% per hour and is requireing a applieid\password everytime I open the app.

We will see more LE buildings in the near future if GREE continues with LTQ Events. So maybe use your cash for Hood Expansion, save some for Nightclubs (still the most wanted building I think) and wait for other buildings to come. Pagoda for example can be upgraded in short time if compared to a Casino or brownstone...These buildings are really helpful if you Focus on iph.



Yeah I agree. IPH has been my focus for a while now, I was running a hybrid of ROI and IPH from the beginning.


I upgraded MTs until I could afford lofts, and I upgraded lofts until I could afford NCs. My MTs stopped at level 5, and my lofts stopped at level 4, at which point I was able to build and upgrade a NC to level 2. However, I'm also a prolific robber, and at the time I made most of my income from robs. Since then, I've only upgraded my NCs (and more recently the LTBs, but that's another story). It basically comes down to the fact that NCs are far and away the best building, and the only reason I upgrade anything else is that I can't afford my next NC building, so I skim a tiny bit off the top so that I can always have a building upgrading. I have a clear hierarchy of buildings I would upgrade after NCs provided that the upgrade doesn't set me back in my NC-savings fund given my current IPH (unfortunately the LTBs have messed this strategy up, and I've spent NC-funds on upgrading Pagodas/Dockside Mills). My hierarchy of buildings to upgrade is this: NCs > Pagodas > Upscale Clubs / Churches / Rock Cafes > Lofts > MTs.

Robbed my way to my first two movie theaters which basically doubled my income at a very low level and catapulted me almost a month ahead of what I was expecting - basically I found a player with lofts (at the ridiculously low level of 17 or something like that) and I left his hood with money to buy almost two whole MT's. Thus I started building MT and aggressively expanding my hood at an early age.


That's a smart build order. As a level 35 though for me its Loft > MT > Dominican > Italian.


Agree on the Type B, they might be useful during upgrade downtime but the marginal IPH increase from upgrading MT or loft is so much greater.

While transferring my game to another device, I think I found a good idea to preserve your character.

You set up your character for transfer that you want to keep in case something bad happens to your device, then you can always transfer it to new device in case you might you need to .

Question is , is there anything bad that can possibly happen if you have your character set up in perpetual transfer mode? Could you keep playing this way?

The reason I'm uncertain is that I've never heard of Gree encouraging their players to do this.

I'd especially want the answer from someone who has successfully saved a character, and themselves from sending a support ticket, to verify it works and there isn't some kind of server reset that would mess the future transfer up.

Spending gold on crate events is a very tough sell. There have been players who have dropped 1,000s of gold for the 10th item and still not received it. So, all your patience in earning the gold could be wasted.

A better use is Epic Boss, where for 10 gold you get an addt'l 3 hits, and you are guaranteed a decent item, with a shot a pretty good one.

Goodfella upgrade might be the best if these LTQs are here to stay. With the 10% faster energy refill, you get 20 more stamina / hr, which over a 5 day event is 2,400 more stamina. This could help you finish a level higher in normal mode, and if you are currently finishing in the mid-30's it could be a 500+ / 500+ item.

Upgrading to Goodfella is , by far, the best way to spent 150 gold in the entire game.

10% on stamina refill, 10% faster energy refill, and 10% more income from buildings on an equipment mod would be PHENOMINAL and nothing even comes close. Especially for a measly 150 gold. If I could spend a vault and do it 10 times, I would without even having to think about it.

2nd best place to spend is boss event's and 3rd is on crates. Syndicate wars can be in there somewhere depending on your devotion to your syn and how much your IP means to the team.

For me i only use Gold for money building like Church and rock cafe that's it.

Use Gold on boss is best if you below level 100 if above use it for LTQ events.

The update prior to that mistakenly applied syndicate and other building output bonuses twice. This extra money would then disappear next time you had server contact. The end result is that your IPH (and each individual building) would have appeared (most likely) as if you had 2 x 25% output bonuses.

The recent update removed this glitch.

The only way to get an item using gold is to buy it. It's really that simple. If you use gold in an event it's bit like a lottery. you pay $10 for a lottery ticket in hope you will win the jackpot and if you don't there's nothing you can do. In fact the secret to get 10th item is to use Gold during the first day not the last day. This proven by a lot of gold players who got the item.

Iv Hurd many people complain about using massive amounts to try get 10th on last day but my experiences in the past have been lucky one time it took 285 gold to get 9,10 last day n another time 60 to get 10th there the only times Iv used gold on last day one one other time I used gold was first hour n it was recent one rest I have got to 10 using cash I think it's more depending on the draw

You should have a better idea of how you're doing for your level based on how often you get attacked/robbed, and how long it takes for you to find a player in the rival's list that you can successfully attack.

A "TL mission" is referring to the Thug Life missions, where you need to kill X players in a row who have at least Y mafia.

It's 15 gold for a gold case open. 150 gold is nowhere near enough to ensure you get the gun with 9/10, let alone 1/10 (you're misunderstanding how the gold opens work, I presume: a gold open guarantees a "successful open", meaning you will get something-- cash, loot, or the "twin swords"-- it does not guarantee that you will get the twin swords needed for the item. In fact, the common slap in the face at high levels is to spend 15 gold for a gold case open, and receive $10k cash-- a terrible exchange rate! I don't know what the new odds are, but it used to be the case that you could spend an entire vault of gold (1500 gold) and STILL not get that 10th item (in this case, twin swords).

As others said, your best bet is to just keep using cash opens every hour. Save your gold.



"Overtime" is when the event has technically ended (which I believe is something 15 hours from now), but you don't close your game or update or do anything that involves restarting your game. After 15 hours from now, it will say "Event Ends: SOON!", but so long as you don't close your game, you can keep opening cases every hour. Personally, I haven't been very lucky with this, as it's usually just a matter of time before my game crashes (and hence the end of "overtime"). Worth a shot, though. There will be many events, don't rush to spend your gold now.

You might be too weak to be of any value into a syndicate, but you could try requesting to join syndicates from the in-game syndicate menu, or you can check the syndicate recruitment forums here.

You can generally get through defenses 30-40% higher than your attack. That's based off true defense, so with upgraded defense buildings it could be much higher still.

Well, another factor to consider is that you have an extraordinarily small mafia. If you're level 50, you can have up to 250 mafia (you can have more, it's just that only 250 count for the purposes of calculating your atk/def stats), so you are currently ducking a lot of the strong players for your level. Which is perfectly fine, as it helps you avoid being picked on too much. But your stats seem pretty low to me, but I have no idea what the stats at that level look like any more with all these events nowadays.

As for your other question, I have no idea by what you mean if your phone "times out," but if you have to click the CC icon again and see that loading bar, that's most definitely the end of your overtime.

This is some silly logic. Do you really think you will improve your stats more by camping, increasing your IPH and maximizing your RP/XP to buy better RP weapons than you could via an event that hands out items with 100-2000 stat points every other mission (and causing you to level up a few levels in the process)? Your stats aren't that of a boss killer, so I don't know what your plan is. The LTQs are clearly the way to go.

From my understanding, we bring the best available weapons up to 5 per mafia with a max cap of 500 mafia if lvl 100 or more. People say that when you get a new item, lets say 20att, it only adds up 15 if the higher before that was 5att. Which only means its going to top up the stats. But some says that having many lower items that are not brought into battle will also have an influence. I personally think that it doesn't matter if you have a 100 camaro if later you can bring a 100 Audi.. Does anyone understand what I'm trying to say, and could confirm my thoughts ?

Can easily answer that one. Let says you are lvl25 and have 100 mafia, you have a gun Raging Bull and you have 100 of them, It have stats of 20/10(A/D), later you buy 100 44. Supreme Magnum 30/15. The Raging bull have a cumulate stats of 2000 atk, but you have bought the 44. Supreme Magnum that have a cumulate stats of 3000. So basicly it will only replace the later gun and add just 1000 atk to your total atk. And to clarify, older equipement that are no more used have no influence on your stats if they aren't equipped by your mafia they will not add anything unless they are used in battle. Hope it help you to understand a little more ;)

I asked that question because someone in my syndicate bought a lot of cheap items and he actually drop a few points on his stats instead of increasing.. Any idea why ?

Doubt it. You can't get rid of items, so your (defense) stats can only go down from deleting defense buildings, or by dropping mafia members.

During the period stated you should get 1 allotment of 50 free gold. The number of splash screens you get is irrelevant. Also, the gold may come through at any time during the period, again not tied to a splash event.

I don't even need 50 gold, but it's the same mild irritation as when I spend over $10k cash on a cash open, only to receive $10k cash back. I obviously don't need $10k cash, but I feel insulted.

Trawling through half a dozen splash screens is one of my major pet peeves - especially when it's stuff that doesn't need perpetual splash screens (the 50 gold, event splash screens 4 days in, etc etc).

It's one of the things that made quitting MW was so easy. ;)

Keep on the MTs until you can build a Loft. Upgrade it to level 2, then build a second loft.

Probably worthwhile to build italian restaurants, and upgrade those when you cant afford loft/MT upgrades.

Your aim is to afford a Nightclub, and then ugrade it to level 2 and build a second.

If you max out your italians before you get your econ running strongly enough to always upgrade the MTs/Lofts, then choose another available building, and focus only on that. Ice Cream Shop, House and T-Shirt stand are good early-game options for this "filler" building.

Don't spend a lot of cash buying cars that you are just going to replace later...I hear a lot of people spend money on those 2nd tier cars because of that splash screen saying your weak because your mafia doesn't have enough cars. Stats are stats, and cars are the most expensive way to increase your stats. It's best to wait until the end game to use in-game cash to buy cars or farm them when you get to a high enough level.

200 Audis cost $180m and only increase your stats 2,200 / 1,800 max. That's $82k per attack point / $100k per defense point or $45k / total points gained.

Compare that with Steel Garrotes for $53k (10 / 5) for attack or Blast Shields $210k (1 / 19) for defense. Let's say your last weapons for armor and melee are Wrestler's Mask (4 / 7) and Butterfly Knives (5 / 5). SGs would cost $11k per attack point gained and BSs would cost $18k / defense point gained. Much cheaper way of improving your stats if you needed too.

Only way to 'reset' is to transfer account to an old phone and start a new game of your current one.

Invest your money into boosting your IPH. The weapons from limited time buildings are much, much better than anything you'll ever get for cash or RP. Plus, it sets you up to purchase the late-game cash weapons if required.
