I think I've been starting to figure out the more complex parts of fusion.

One thing I've noticed is that it pretends that the 2 armors being fused are the lower star armor. I.E. A 4**** and a 1* is the equivalent of 2 1*s. Just an observation I thought I would point out.

That is typically why people don't fuse 4* armors with anything less than a 4*. If the rarity of the armor impacts the results, you would want to keep your armors as high as possible to eliminate crap from the results table.

None of them are good fusions, mostly be use you're not using another legendary for the fuse. Fusing headless horseman and the spirit fusion boost armor would actually yield 20 possible armors, including blaze and moon.

Yea don't bother fusing Legendaries with Ultras in fact don't bother fusing Ultras, Fusion Stones are getting harder to come by and wasting them to get a 2 Star definitely isn't worth it

(ii) scortch (36) + feather (35) = wanderers shroud (36) - Only interesting part is that fusing a 35 and a 36 netted a 36 -- so it rounds up.

Yes it rounds up, I made my big four by fusing two basics, one at lvl 15 and another at lvl 12 always resulting in lvl 14, which was easy to lvl up one lvl to 15 to unlock the plus versions. As a weak new starter this was a fast way to not having to grind the needed mats to make the reg versions of the big 4.

What i should aim to fuse now that i have moontide, blaze, combustion, and all the fuseable good armors?
Actually i have three earth/spirits, horsemand battlegear and two earth monos. I can also craft a extra witch robe, swampstone platemail and leviathan. My opinion is to save them for the future.

I bet my soul they made the boss armors fuseable till leviathan. I personally fused assassin shroud and aegis of the fallen, while my cousin fused slimebane and leviathan.
The only eceptions being the four dragon armors and jian... Maybe there will be some sort of comeback of those? Like a "jian updgrading pack"... Bah.

Okay first of all I will write I do not have proof screens, but you must believe me! I decided to spend all my epic boss armors to get legendary and ? There we go !

Firstly I fused Horseman Armor with Battlesuit Reimant(received that from previous fusions)= Half Dragon Warrior Armor

Secondly, I fused Half Dragon Warrior Armor with Blackfrost Raiment = Boilerplate ...

For the last time, Fused Boilerplate(~40 lvl) with Armor of the Bear (~44lvl) = BLAZEBORN lvl 44 !!

I dont really understand the question so i dont know how to answer this but ill try. If you are looking for a good fire armor to use for enhancement purposes i farm hydra scales at the normal difficulty of the kingdom of darkness. If you are looking for a good fire armor to level up and use i recommend Hydra Hunter+ or armor of the infernal lord+

You might fuse Chimera Corps and Snakeskin and get Living Flame, or you might get some three- or four-star armor.

Fusion challenges are the worst, we need 1200 of them right now. Hoping to get to level 75 by the end of next week. Right now, we have fusion combine, contribute, and SAs. Those are the three hardest.

It is very annoying, especially when you only have a short time to play. Change your gender on your main knight, to quickly change it, I think changing his armors works too.

Now, assuming that when fusing 4*, every result has equal chances of happening, I would have more chance of fusing an Epic (Moontide or Blazeborne) than an Ultra Rare (only Armor of the Infernal Lord).

Guess what? I got Armor of the Infernal Lord. Yep, GREE hates me it seems.

Leveling an armor to 35 will not be worth it, you level 2 armors to 35 and get one armor at 35, so it is a waste.

That is interesting, you combined lvl 60 and 35 and got 40?? So strange!

The news of maelstrom being fusable means chests are getting useless-all I have to do it wait two months or less and then be able to fuse an armor I saw in the chests previously. Very good news for me.

There are two problems with that stement, stat creep is slowly outdating older epics as new ones are released, and there are no + version from fusion. So if being competitive is important to you, then chests are still a necessity.

Buuuttt im right there with you, never spent any money on chests. Ive just been fusing to my heart's content for my epics. :) (Except the Beastmaster i got from the Beast chest keys i got from the LTQ.)

Also, i used up all my non earth legendaries trying for Tectonic to go along with my shiny new Maelstrom... Now i have like 20 Earth or Earth/Something armors and nothing to fuse them with lol.

Here's what I got from today's Fuseapalooza, on iOS (all lvl 1 unless noted otherwise):

Trying to get Tectonic:
1. lvl 35 Armor of the Wolf and lvl 35 Shroudstone = lvl 35 Hunter's Garb
2. Dragon Tamer's Costume and Combustion lvl 19 = lvl 10 Boilerplate
3. Tempered Battlegear and Shroudstone+ = Bone Harvester
4. Phyrus lvl 35 and lvl 23 or so Bone Harvester = lvl 29 TECTONIC!

Trying to get Maelstrom:
1. Chitinous+ lvl 2 and Featherblade+ lvl 2 = Cloud King's Finery lvl 2
2. Cloud King's Finery lvl 2 and lvl 35 Horseman's = lvl 19 Combustion
3. Lvl 35 Witch's Robes and lvl 10 Blackfrost = Bone Harvester (lvl 23 or so)
4. Ravenlord and Boilerplate = BLAZEBORNE! Too bad it's my third one and will probably end up being used for enhancement. :(
5. Notus and Boilerplate = Ethereal Garment. Not usable but really cool to wear (I will miss my Chitinous for that reason).
6. Blackfrost+ and Featherstone+ = Rocfeather -- you god damned thieves.
7. Leviathan and Ravenlord = Blackfrost

At this point, I'm out of Air legendaries other than the maxed ones I'm actually using and can't afford to fuse (sorry, not fusing my Aegis of the Dragon+), and have no more I can craft. So I'm done fishing for Maelstrom for a while. I was happy to get Tectonic, despite all the pooh-poohing here and elsewhere; I needed a better Earth armor and this fills that hole nicely.

Love it.. fused three 4 stars today... shooting for either Tect or Blaze (Half-Dragon, Blackfrost+, Mountainvine), and, in the end, ended up with an Embersteel for all my work. All my fusions end up going down rather than staying the same, going up. I've probably fused away about 50 legendaries, and not a single thing above a Flamehunter's Garb. I think I'm done with that route...

I have literally fused hundreds of armors in the hunt for an epic with no luck. This week that all changed. I fused a Blaze with Half-Dragon / Ravenlord and then a Moontide using SS+ / DP+. I am assuming that the chances of fusing epic armors have been radically increased with the last update so good luck everyone!

I would say never buy chests. And if you do, just save and get a bunch. But realistically, GW are probably more worth it.

Mhmm. I probably fused about 60-70 Ultra Rares and Legendaries since Epics were fusable again. It just pisses me off because a lot of people in my guild are extremely lucky at getting Epics :/

Ouch.... That sucks. You'll get it sometime. I had to fuse one of my better armors, lvl 50 Witch Robes, to get my Mael. Sometimes, even if it is a good armor, you gotta use it if it is good chances. It worked for me :)

I'm gonna try fusing Wyvern with Wicker Mantle. But I didn't even craft wyvern, so I better get to it. :P

Up to you. Lots of possibilities with that combo. Off the top of my head, you could get boilerplate, that other fire/water (i forgot the name, the one with the funny looking hat), guardians battlegear, assassin's shroud, tempered battlegear, tectonic, blaze, moontide, scorchstone, ruby platemail, chitinous, hydromancers, mountainvine shroud, and many more. If you don't need them, I probably would. The only other option is to use them to enhance your armors....

I have not yet been able to fuse an epic but a lot of my guild mates have, mostly with the rocfeather/swamp shaman combo. I read on this forum before that the result cannot have the same combo as either of the inputs, so a mono fire and something else could not possibly create Blazeborne. Is this true? mono fire can create mono fire

fire/water + spirit/earth cannot create fire/water or spirit/earth

It's false. I threw in Scorchstone aegis with a spirit/earth (can't remember as i had a few) and got out wanderer's shroud. Furthermore, a mono fire + another mono has the best chances of getting a blazeborne due to the smaller pool of fusable armors. Hope this helps and good luck with fusing!

True that. I got my first Blazeborne from Scorchstone aegis and Ravenlord. So mono fire can get you Blazeborne.

i got my blazeborne using armor of infernal with cloud king. I suppose fire and wind have a higher possiblitily. :D

Thanks for the answer guys. My second Wicker Mantle is almost done crafting, Ill be trying for blazeborne again. Just fused swampshaman and rocfeather and got monstrous garb:( oh well, i have 2 more swamp shaman a roc feather and a dark prince finishing tonight, wish me luck with those. depends on what you shooting for. try jack with mono air if u have any. gives u a shot at either tec or mael. thats how i got my mael and tec fused. with admiral theres so many options including moon which i persnally think you shouldnt try anymore. mael can one hit that armor now

Since you got both Air and Water in that combo i would say yes. You just need the elements - Certain combinations just have alot more fusion results which lowers your chances of getting an epic.

Fused Leviathan (mono water) & Corvus (mono air), and got Hydromancer (mono water).

Fused Hydromancer with a 2nd Corvus and got Maelstrom.

Very happy that I got Maelstrom with only 2 tries.

So after a lot of fusing and reading many fusions, I think it's safe to say that these are the main rules in fusion:

- The result will always have an element of one armor, and (Dual)/or (Mono) one element from the other.
So if you for example, fuse Aegis of the Wyvern with Wicker Armor, you can never fuse Assassin's Shroud. You CAN fuse Fire/Spirit, Fire/Earth, Fire Mono and Earth Mono.

- The result is at most one tier lower than the lowest tier armor used.
If you fuse two 3* Armors, you can get no lower than a 2* Armor.
Exception: Basics, Uncommons, 1*, there are no fusable armors below 1* so fusing two of them will always result in 1* or higher.

- The result is at most two tiers higher than the highest tier Armor used.
Fusing two 3* Armors can give you a 5*, however two 2* cannot.
Exceptions: 4* and 5*, since there are no 6* or 7* Armors yet.

- Whether an Armor is on the left or on the right, does not affect the Fusion Result.
