This crate event is definitely a form of gambling, it would be nice if Gree could give us the odds of obtaining the 10th Eiffel. I've just wasted over 2000 gold. I would not back a 3 legged horse but I have probably just tried.

The open rate is actually 2% However the drop rate might have even been lower and rigged by Gree. The big Gree trick is to give almost everybody an airplane last time with little gold, so this time many people thought it would be the same, but Gree changed some parameters. If you already spend 400 gold you will not easy stop and accept all that gold was a waste of money, so you continue opening it.

I completely agree. I spent like 300 gold to get to nine. In the last hour I used the money option and failed. Then I quickly started using gold because i wasn't going out like that. So I spend another 120 gold and got it with my last gold bar. Better believe I will enjoy my $50 picture. Not sure I will do that again.

I landed on 8-10 with 30 hours to go.. I'm a free player but had to have the top prize here..so I broke my cardinal rule and bought some gold...I naively assumed that I would get it having spent real money..but 500 gold later I got to 9....1 tower for 500 gold..are you taking the piss..well played gree you got me good..well enjoy because that is the last real pound you will ever get out of me and I have 2 MW accounts and 2 CC accounts..
Got to say you missed a trick..think how much you could have milked me for on the next case event if I 'd got top prize on this one...would have made me way more likely to put my hand in my pocket.

Got 8 towers out of 12 cash openings the first day. Took a day and a half for number 9 cash/free attempts and just spent 300 gold last hour to get 10th. Not too bad compared to the units you would have to buy for 1/4 of those stats.

And you sir are the ONLY one ive seen that came close to what it took me... 5k plus to get 10

I ended up with 8/10 using all medium opens every hour I was awake. So glad I restrained myself! If I'd have thought I could get it for 1 vault I'd have gone for it, but after watching this thread I just knew I'd be out $99 & end up with 9 towers and a bunch of T90 Tanks and 300 valors.

I got 9 crystal eifels by opening the boxes on medium and then spent 360 in gold trying to get the 10th. I did not get it..... so sad!!! I needed that plane! I carry the Russian flag for crying out loud!!!

I have one member that obtained 10 boxes...he got the 10th earlier today.

In the past I have successfully opened 10 boxes for sure once, but maybe twice. I'm just sick to death that I didn't get that dang plane!

Well, you saved some $$. I had 9/10 with 2+ days left. Total crap. I had one of those "you've spent this much, you better go all the way or it's wasted."

At least I have some gold for the next war... but I really don't see myself buying any more. Time to become a free player and just enjoy it. As someone else said, spend the money on a new gaming system lol.

On my HLP I got all 10 with days to spare and 9/10 on my LLP with the exact same, if not more attempts. Last crate event I had to use gold on my LLP (which I don't think got me one crate by the way) just to get to 10 while I got to 10 with ease on my HLP. Thus, leaves me to question whether their are variables that affect the percentages, or just coincidence. I'll have to see next crate event.
