No you dint because infernal and clayplate both have the element earth and there is no spirit element in that combination.

So I decided to go off the deep end and fuse Leviathan and Assasins shroud and I got Black frost Raiment, is that a really good armor?

Did Armor of Phyrus(40) + Armor of Eurus(40) = Blazeborne

None of the recent epic boss armors are fusable.

I fused Blazeborn where is your god now
I first did Phyrus + notus got me Ruby

Ruby + Boreas got me my Blazeborn

I've just started to arbitrarily craft 4* armors that I've had materials for sitting around and I'm trying to figure out what combinations would give the highest probability of a good outcome. How the heck do I know what are the possible results? I understand the basic concept that the created armor will have an element from at least one of the fusion armors, but how do I know what possible armors those are?

Data Sheet Administration topic, open the spreadsheet. Mostly all the needed info right there (info on which armors can't be fused is still somewhat incomplete...).

Have you considered that it may have been Clayplate and DP?
