Well 10% was only starting point to see whether players were happy but having talk to other members this will now be change to players IPH as daily contribution. so if a player makes 200K per hour that will be daily contribution instead 20K.
We need a defence leader to protect us from other syndicate from starting a war with us just because we don't fight doesn't mean we should just sit back let them beat us up?. What kind of leader would i be if i allowed members of my syndicate to get beat up?
I wouldn't call it scare off rather than commit ourselves to the syndicate ;-) But let's start with at least 10% and see how far it will take us. You can expect my IPH donation daily.
Circulating 3.a) through e) seems a good strategy to begin with. This keeps balance between improving our defenses (i.e. what we get for our money) and investing in our economy. Expanding more often as Tommy suggested is also important in the beginning, e.g. 3.f). I expect cost for upgrades to increase heavily - that's why I asked about regularly donating more than 10%.
But before syndicates are officially released that's all reading tea leaves - and a lot of fun nonetheless :-)

Assuming this is the same setup as MW, after you hit the declare war button, you are matched with someone else that has done the same. They don't force you to go to war if you don't want to.
Also in MW the first bonus is 6 million, and the next in the same tier is 12 million. I think the average IPH there is higher, so I wouldn't think things in CC would be as expensive.
As a camping syndicate, I would increase everything for income and size of syndicate before anything for defense. Like I said though, assuming its the same setup as MW.

Also, you are correct, in MW you are matched against someone that has also declared war...so if we NEVER declare war, we shouldn't have any issues with needing defense to fend off other factions.
I completely agree with iph as the basis of contribution. Remember since we are a camping syndicate our goal is to increase that iph. The only way I can do that is if I have my own cash to upgrade my buildings. Those NCs aren't cheap. I have no problem giving $800k per day. That said, I would have an initial contribution much higher to get things rolling. The larger our initial mafia size the more cash coming in. We just have to really trust each other not to hit war button and monitor if any members level quickly will show us who might be violating rules.

I don't know if it will be same set up but i imagine so however if i can purchase those without purchasing defence I will,
Wasn't aware of this since i thought it depends on who's online -Am i right assuming that it will be my decision or can other synicate players decline?. I thought once someone start a war we would have no choice?.They don't force you to go to war if you don't want to.
