Maybe they're waiting to unveil a "Motel" for MLK Day.

I'd wager that more Crime occurs in/on/around Motels than any other Building in existence (besides Banks!), and have always wondered why we didn't get one. I had a room-mate that was a Maid (now they're Housekeepers, that's how long ago it was) at a Motel 6 right on the U.S/Mexico Border in Douglas, AZ, and she had wild stories about how they'd "turn" rooms 15-20 times a day.

Most times it was simply somebody checking in, a "visitor" showing up a little later, then both leaving right away *but in the other's rental car*. No baggage, no fuss, simply an exchange of car keys away from prying eyes. Sometimes it was better though- "You Wouldn't Believe What I Found Today!!!" after a bunch of people with lots of luggage checked out, but the worst was when she came home and ran straight to the shower, and when she came out would only shudder and say:

    "I can't (or won't) talk about it- I need a new job....."

Oh, and just a clarification for people's elsewhere--- At least in the 'Murican sense, a Hotel has rooms where you enter from the inside of the building from a common hallway, a Motel you enter from a common Parking Lot (where your Henchmen wait with your Vehicles, another good Building idea)

I'm quite familiar with motels - spent many hours waiting in the parking lot. . I wouldn't consider myself a henchman though.

Bala: I bet your waiting eagerly for a golden laundromat.

    Options for what this means...

    1. Your referring to the Lorraine Motel where MLK was assassinated

    2. Your referring to the fact that he was having interracial sex with hookers the night before his death in a motel

    3. Your referring to the fact that MLK was a communist party member and was having secrect communist meetings with Stanley Levison a day prior to his death in a motel

    4. You say Motels are a hub of crime, thus by tying crime to MLK day are you invoking the fact that 1/3 of all African Americans are involved in some phase of the prison correction system.

Are you trying to evoke a race war in Crime City?

    Yup.

    Extra chars

Edit: as I said, I've waited in more than my fair share of motel parking lots.

"Are you trying to evoke a race war in Crime City?"

Not at all. Just that most of the street-level crime that I'm acquainted with occurs in some of the obvious Buildings we get, but not all, and I think a Motel equivocates the difference between the *style* of crime that I deal with everyday in real life rather than the the kind that is inflicted by the Banks, Casino's, and..... Why isn't there a City Hall Building? (I really need to Level up, I guess)
