OT would mean missing out on the boss event right?

I would like to know the answer to that too ... Whether OT means cannot trigger the boss event. Can someone pls advise.

Heavy gem buying seems to have just started up as the gap between those in and out of the top 250 is suddenly widening. Watch out spectra, have your gems ready!

while in OT, if you do not exit the game, you are in a "different server" and would not trigger the boss (most likely) but as soon as you close the app and re-enter, then you will get the boss event
if it only takes you a day to do the boss, the finish your OT, first, CC boss event will last 8 days, probably the KA one too

I'm sitting on 14? It's been over 24 hours since I got a scarab using the middle option.

I've never tried OT. Can someone help me on this? I need to set my phone to never lock. Leave KA open. Do I need to keep the box timer window open or just KA app? Can I go and collect more boxes?

Basically you keep the app open all the time, as once you exit the app, the game will update from the server and you wouldn't have the event anymore.

Boxes wouldn't drop past the deadline. So you just get to keep opening the boxes after the event has ended.

Woo-hoo!!! Got the Sand Wyrm, ended up ranked 250 (with 26 scarabs I think), first time I got the 2nd tier prize in these events. Completely free player too

Thanks Hobtuse for clarifying OT for me. I finally got #15. That was one expensive dude for me. 113 attempts using gold option with 46 opens to get 15 scarabs.
