    iTunes won't let my account make any purchases what so ever, I could use a third party which uses an activation fee....
    I think I should try it just to see if it works. lol

    Well it didn't work, I have $50 credited to my iTunes now from an online gift card purchase from a third party... and still wont let me spend anything
