Limited Time Boost Buildings
Anyone else miss the ridiculously short window for the boost buildings?
It seems bonkers to me that Gree would go to all the 'trouble' of devising new boost buildings and then only give players a week to purchase them. I don't even remember seeing them mentioned on any of the splash screens, which is crazy, as most players don't routinely check the buildings store 'just in case'. I'm not sure why they can't find some space in the game to flag up things like this - things that players might spend money on if they were actually aware of its existence.
Maybe it was a display issue. Yeah, that's probably it.One equal temper of heroic hearts

Even if the Android users don't want to spend the time watching videos they can always purchase Gold at 40% less than an iOS user can purchase Gold.
My math is a little off.
Is 40% off a 40% off sale 80% off?
I'm so confused.
Sometimes I worry that Gree may eventually see the gross inequity of this pricing disparity and resolve it by raising the price on Androids by 40%.In Canada a Vault of Gold on Android is $100.00 and on iOS it is $140.00

Hi Modern Warriors,
Sorry you missed the building sale! They will be released again in the near future.
In the meantime, please take a quick look at this post: http://forums.gree.net/showthread.ph...ade-Specialist

[SEA] Boosted Destroyer: ATK: 11,128,419; DEF: 13,063,796; Bonus: +1% Sea Defense
[INFANTRY] Boosted Anti-Tank: ATK: 132,653,977; DEF: 149,588,528; Bonus: +3% Infantry Attack Attack
[GROUND] Boosted Ariete: ATK: 252,808,644; DEF:190,715,292; Bonus:+5% Ground Defense Defense
[AIR] Boosted Skylord: ATK: 379,011,363; DEF: 427,395,793; Bonus:+2% Alliance Attack
You will probably "trade" the Sea, Infantry and Ground units for the AIR unit when you complete the final goal
remember 5% is a very high bonus for a non LB event, so 2% is a very good bonus just for upgrading some buldings

"My apology for the confusion about the conversion of units. We realize that the goals did not explicitly state that the required units would be consumed. We hoped that the increase in power would be worth it (+5% is very high for a non-leaderboard event)"Last edited by truthteller; 03-08-2016 at 11:28 AM.

Hey Tinker, we had a discussion over here on what you could be seeing and we think this might about exchange rate confusion.
Here’s how pricing works: We set the US dollar price amount for iOS and Google. After this, for other countries, both iOS and Google set their own exchange rates at what they feel is appropriate for each country. This isn’t always in sync with the foreign exchange rate.
Please note that GREE does not have control over this aspect of pricing. We can only really control the US dollar amounts (which have not changed).
Here is a chart of pricing differences per country for iOS from the article:
https://www.macstories.net/stories/t...itunes-prices/
This specific example is for purchases made in the Australian iTunes store. If we were to take this chart and apply it to our games, GREE would set the price on “Price in US iTunes Store”, but then iTunes ultimately controls the “Price in Australian Store” column.
As iTunes and Google are separate entities, they’re pricing choices are also separate. This may be why on Android (Google) purchases it is less in regards to the exchange rate. On US dollars prices controlled by GREE that we set, they are the same.
If you have a moment, please read the linked article above. It is a little old, but this is still how pricing works via iTunes.
