Who here thinks +5 allies still means anything? Maybe back when 1m stats were awesome. Now at a time when most people have attack stats so high they can beat just about anyone else already, what's the point of bringing in 5 more allies?
Give us defence bonuses instead Gree!!! It's bloody frustrating, building up your character over many years, only to find anyone can now attack you. There should be some benefit in having invested heavily. Oh wait this is a Gree game. All makes sense now.
Anyway now that my vent of the day is over, the building output bonus is nice. No doubt it will cost more than anyone can accumulate to upgrade. This is a Gree game after all.
Yes, I have a bonus +5 allies and -3 opponent reduction of allies. I currently have 500 allies and so does everyone in my rivals list. When I attack I take 5 extra allies and my opponent loses 3 allies from their 500. The only time the bonus doesn't work is if my opponent has one of these bonuses also. I'm not 100% sure because I don't know the bonuses my opponents have exactly, but it seems to revert back to 500/500 regardless of the +/- bonuses on either side.

Bonus only works on attacks, not raids. May be why it disappears sometimes
A possible disadvantages of the +5 allies.
Suppose that one has 500+ allies and exactly 3000 indestructible units. By adding +5 allies, ones destructible low stats units are added to battles. Some of these destructible units are lost during battles.

I already had +5 alliance size increase.. I just golded the building...it's finished and working on the next level...so I now should have +10 alliance size increase....guess what????? I don't...
