Let's assume you do make it to the level to open up the LTQ how many of the LTQ quest do you think you can finish and at the level you are I assume your HS is not to high yet. The cost of gem to get even a part of the LTQ will be higher once you get there. Save them for the next one. They may be better spent. Also they gave away some big pieces in this quest so they uped the ante and who knows what down the road. Of course you do what you feel you have to.

I did buy when they were on sale and saved them for, well it turns out I saved them for this event. :) I made it through honor fire 8 and ice 8. Then decided it would be too many non-sale gems to finish it. But I sure as heck got a lot of great stuff out of what I did complete. Best event yet IMO.

Well I feel pretty good. I don't know about others, but I was able to finish the entire event with less than 1300 gems, which I was very surprised with...
Up to 117k att with 138 allies... Gained a ton in attack this ltq

Up to 117k att with 138 allies... Gained a ton in attack this ltq

managed to get through frost general and flame general without using ne gems 62 hs and a weapon that had 40 attack which increased to the one that had 56 attack from the ice quest. i doubt ill finish either of the part 9s though but i did manage to get quite far though.

Based on my progress with avg hit slightly below yours, I'd say 450. I'd buy the chest to be sure. Try to wait it out when it's time to refill - if you can get a hit for free with only a 10-20 minute wait, wait for it.

I did it! Fire & Ice 9 & 10 were about 500 gems just like you said, Perfuzzie. Yay me! Lol. As if it took talent - it took my wallet. But in a way, I think of it as rewarding Gree for a job well done on this event. A big part of why IMO it was a great event was that the regular event could be completed for little or no gems by a lot of players. And the honor was worth spending real money on, even for light-moderate gem spenders, because there was no chance of NOT getting what you paid for like the box and boss events. And the cost was just at the upper limit of what I'm willing to pay. Well done, Gree, on all counts!

Usually it's the Warrior weapon/armor that is at the highest levels, with tha same stat mage and magic waepons/armor at the lower, so I was glad to see that this time warrior class players finally got a break.

Knights...I understand your pain and concur with your humble hearts in moving forward and holding no bitterness towards the FUN Guild. Thank you for that.

Not many know my story, so I'll tell it here and now.
In MW, I was a part of Ferr's Emperors. Many who play it know of Ferr and his faction. I came to the conclusion after 2-3 weeks of being in Ferr's faction that although I was a committed, I'd sowed millions, spent countless hours designing logos, dogtags for every individual, you name it. But I knew what would happen if I stayed. Ferr wanted to shre his factions spoils with me, but knew that at my lvl, even though at that time I had 2 losses to my base with over 1000 successful attacks, that I would be a weak link in the faction.

It was a hard decision for me, but I humbly stepped aside and removed myself to make room for a higher stat BIG spender. I let everyone know that that was the decision i came to. What I tell you is the truth...and if there are others from MW who observed this and were here...they would concur this to be true.

I know it's disheartening to miss out on getting into the Forum United Nation Guild...but we only have 60 spots, and there are probably hundreds of players that we wld all like to be in the FUN guild, because we forumites are all fir one-another.

I hope my story in MW helps someone. Know that I'm extremely happy with my current Faction in MW. They people are great and it suits my bases current standing.

I just finished the heroic weeee!! With the boost from the units I received from this event. I'm at level 86 with A99k/D104k and leveled BD to 7. Quite happy with my stats even though its not perfect :)

Thanks! You should have. They don't have these events often, usually it's LTQ coupled with only chances that you'll complete the event. Like ones where you have to collect all 9 objects or box events. This is worth it.

Well, I got my Ice Mage, but I have to confess to opening my wallet up a little. After I downloaded enough apps to put me at twenty-one gems, I managed to get the last Ice Beast down to three more hits with only eleven minutes to go. Obviously not enough time to generate ~300 energy, so I went back to Tapjoy to earn the other nineteen gems. However, this time they did not show up when I went back into the game and I still only had one gem. I exited the game several times to try and make them appear, but they never did. So, with two minutes left, I went ahead and bought some gems so I could refill my energy one last time and defeat the last Ice Beast.

A couple minutes after the LTQ ended, I noticed the missing nineteen gems had finally made their way to me...

It's been an incredibly fun game, and I've made a few friends, so I don't mind throwing a few bucks their way. Just not going to make a habit of signing my paychecks over to GREE. haha

Also, by completing that step in Wings of Ice II, it gave me enough gold to buy enough dragons to hit the 200,000+ Attack stat. The italicized sentence of my signature was no joke.

Ended up spending my first 20 gems on this event. Had a little bit of health on the last ice dragon and was worried my energy wouldn't refill in time with only 45 min to go so I spent the gems. Even had enough energy leftover to do the first 2 quests of heroic mode too. Best use of gems yet. And I didn't have to pay for it either. Just used free tapjoy gems. I recommend keeping gems ready just in case for these events. My attack and defense stats went up greatly.

My ticket was sent on Friday, still no response. Where's my Dragon Rider? Keep sending tickets till you get the unit.

Just used free tapjoy gems. I recommend keeping gems ready just in case for these events. My attack and defense stats went up greatly.
Congrats. I was able to make it halfway into through heroic mode using free gems. I got mine through the tap for free gems button. One question, though. Have you ever had Tapjoy not give you the gems you were supposed to get? I've tried installing 4 or 5 different apps through Tapjoy and didn't get any gems from them.

Yeah I noticed that happened a few times with me too. I think the trick is you have to download from tap joy link and you have to open it from the download page right away. If you close out after the download and try to open the app later you do not get credit. At least that's what I have noticed. And I usually don't see the gems until after I download and open new app and then reopen KA.

If someone else has any other insight then please add.

Well, I got my Ice Mage, but I have to confess to opening my wallet up a little. After I downloaded enough apps to put me at twenty-one gems, I managed to get the last Ice Beast down to three more hits with only eleven minutes to go. Obviously not enough time to generate ~300 energy, so I went back to Tapjoy to earn the other nineteen gems. However, this time they did not show up when I went back into the game and I still only had one gem. I exited the game several times to try and make them appear, but they never did. So, with two minutes left, I went ahead and bought some gems so I could refill my energy one last time and defeat the last Ice Beast.

A couple minutes after the LTQ ended, I noticed the missing nineteen gems had finally made their way to me...

It's been an incredibly fun game, and I've made a few friends, so I don't mind throwing a few bucks their way. Just not going to make a habit of signing my paychecks over to GREE. haha

Also, by completing that step in Wings of Ice II, it gave me enough gold to buy enough dragons to hit the 200,000+ Attack stat. The italicized sentence of my signature was no joke.
Congrats on finishing up and to the 200k+ Att. Was that the heroic mode you finished or just the normal? I hope it was heroic, for your sake. Oh, and we're friends, right? lol

Yeah, most apps you have to open them first. Some apps require to to play a little first. I tend to skip the ones that make you do stuff. I'd rather download other apps that you only have to run.

Sometimes Tapjoy doesn't provide the necessary gems it says it will. You can contact them and let them know they owe you some bling.

Right, I read that I could contact them if I was missing gems. The problem is that I couldn't remember how many gems I was owed, so I didn't bother. I guess I'll just start writing everything down from now on so I know.

Hey, that was better than I did. I made it to 4/7 heroic, but couldn't finish that part in time.
