A Bard's Song-Limited Time Event

Since I don't see a thread started yet for this one I figured I would get it started.

A Bard's Song is a new Limited Time Event with what originally looks like only 7 parts but once you get to part 3 it branches off into three 4 part quests to search for Runes. Part 6 also branches off into two 10 part quests. More to come as we find out more.

I think you answered your own question... My guess is at least level 25, since your on a few different maps in this LTQ.

Most likely the minimum level would be that required to access the highest map used in this event. So far I've seen it go as high as The Garden of Gain. I don't know what the level requirements to get to these maps have been nerfed to but that might give you an idea of where you should be at.

Edit: I forgot that the main event tab says to complete the limited time event and receive the Champion's Ring, so that may be the ultimate prize but no more information on it yet.

Unless something crazy happens on the 7th event, most players should be able to get through this for free in a day or less. I've used approx. 1700 energy and am most of the way through the 6th out of 7th quest.

Ok this might sound stupid, but how do i start the rune quest... Got pass d first two and when the third mission is up i got the mission 3 rune quests need to be completed and when i click one of it, it will go to a map , but i don't c any arrow indicating which monster to attack.

When you click on one of the three in the main quest tab it will only take you to the crossroads, you need to look in the quest screen and click on one of the separate quests for for each of the three runes

Was very lucky with the start, used full energy bar on the quest and appeared 30 points before levelling... Will see how far will I go.. The prizes are nice, got the second Dervish. Still wonder what the big prize is.

Yeah I think they do it on purpose to make it seem like an easy LTQ that can actually be finished. Then once people start then they are more invested to finish and thus more likely to spend gems. So the champions ring is just loot with no stats? That's not much of a reward. So you actually have to finish this quest in heroic mode to get a good unit? Might not be worth it except at least the units along the way seem pretty good. Hopefully I can finish it without using any gems.

What heroic mode prize? Are there more events after we complete the Bard's Song?

In events that have heroic mode, after completing the event it starts over and you have to do it all over again a second time. The second time will give you more powerful units and items and if you complete it all a second time you win the unit shown in the splash screen (The Frostfire Champion). Basically the second time around is heroic mode.

In events that have heroic mode, after completing the event it starts over and you have to do it all over again a second time. The second time will give you more powerful units and items and if you complete it all a second time you win the unit shown in the splash screen (The Frostfire Champion). Basically the second time around is heroic mode.

Yeah I think they do it on purpose to make it seem like an easy LTQ that can actually be finished. Then once people start then they are more invested to finish and thus more likely to spend gems. So the champions ring is just loot with no stats? That's not much of a reward. So you actually have to finish this quest in heroic mode to get a good unit? Might not be worth it except at least the units along the way seem pretty good. Hopefully I can finish it without using any gems.

If we can finish Normal mode in time it may give us a shot at finishing Heroic Mode or at the least get a few levels in, which would make the quest worth it.

The highest level map I've seen it take part in so far is The Lost Bethel, so from at least what ever the new level requirement for that map is. No one else has mentioned the highest map they've been on yet for this event.

I agree with your point, but that said, it is a pretty easy quest for higher level players, at least so far (I just fInished Part 5, all enemies are between 2-5 hits max, my HS is max of 250 w/ weapon/armor). I should be able to complete it in the next two days (non-heroic), then I'll see how far I can get in Heroic mode. It's still a bunch of great, free units even if I don't finish.

It was King Gabriel who gave me the splash screen actually, I actually didn't see a splash screen on my own app till a few hours ago lol. I had quite a bit of help getting all the info for this, I just put it all together and made it look nice for y'all so you could all easily know what's going on and what to expect next.

You should be both... Concerned that you don't have it and concerned that you're not a higher level yet. Level up higher until you unlock Lost Bethel map. If you do have that map unlocked,then you've got tech issues. Send a ticket.

Well I'm on part 6 (8/10 of Ice and 3/10 of Fire). Still over 3 days left so I may have a shot at actually finishing the regular portion of the quest. Depends on how much energy the final few bosses use in the final portions of the Fire and Ice portions, and of course the final boss for Part 7. This is an interesting LTQ, hats off to Gree on this one.

Conundrum... I'm debating how to proceed on the heroic quest. Had to get through Fire 5/10 to get upgrade Warrior armor. But now, don't really want to use what's left of my gems as I'm not only happy with how far I've gotten (first time finishing one of these LTQs AND moving through the heroic), but have two days left (with somewhat less log-on time than usual).

Anyone pay attention to best energy to unit ROI for Fire and Ice routes? Ice is definitely harder, but I'm at 1/10. Fire is easier but I'm at 6/10 now so basically they are at the same ROI right now, but I don't know from this point if Ice gets significantly more involved.

Any thoughts besides using my gems up? :)

Another ticket ! i have been sending tickets all weeks and still nothing !, is support there ? even my GSP has been 5 days waiting? with the glitches happening at the momement this is Atrocious, im having major problems with hitting unit (Fire Quest) use all energy go back after 2 hours and no damage done i have use over 2800 energy so far in last 2 days !, and because support wont get back to me on GSP or wasted enrgy , i should have completed this quest by now ......i am wasting my time !!! I recommend you Namine33 to finish it all the way. Its worth a mountain of gems or less with so many boss prizes in the heroic mode itself such as Frost Miser, Black Night, Cursed Lich, Emberflame Drake, & couple more high units to win. I'll do it if i were you & don't look back on what you spent. I hope you will listen to me cause its worth it no matter what's your HS is. Its a must going for it..!

Hey CJ, Ive sent in a support ticket but I'm not sure it will get read in time, but I'm a level 45 and still don't have the LTQ after many installs and uninstalls. Another level 45 player stated he had the LTQ. I do have the Lost Bethel map open to me but nothing in my goals. Should I have the LTQ or not?

It's worth the gems if you can finish heroic, just go as far as you can. Never hurts to try, you'll get some good units/weapons to boost your stats.

I just got my Frostfire champion. My advice to everyone is keep at it these rewards are worth it. my stats went up 40k to 45k on both att and def. wish i hadnt leveled up as much but small price to pay for the end result. I do have one question i did not notice if anyone mentioned this or not but as i was going through Heroic mode i did not get any units with the (H) after it. was i supposed to? Some of the unit names were different but i thought they would still be identified by the (H). anyone else have this issue or are they not supposed to have the(H). Should i send a ticket. Thanks!

Fire is easier not only to get up to the Dragon but through him. Ice gives better units in normal mode, and noticeably better units in heroic (see first page of this thread for units and stats).

I'm doing well for myself. On 10/10 Ice. Finished Fire side. Only normal mode though. Looks like I may actually finish this one. Had to use about 120 gems so far. Got 60 left. May have to do some more "tap here for free gems." That's how I got what I had before. Almost 200 for 3 different clicks. If anyone is needing gems, you might want to check it out.

Given that, I think it's fairly safe to assume that the Book of Winter for 9/10 is a mage weapon and therefore the 7/10 bow is for rogues. Plus, in general, I've equipped bows before so if there is logic to the game on either of those levels, it's rogue.

Don't give up, when you finish that Fire Quest, you also get the Level 6 and 7 prizes. I say that coz the L7 Boss requires only 1 (ONE) energy point. Yes, you read that right! ONE energy point (or 2 points on Heroic).

That's plenty of time to get some great units. The first two come to you pop pop and are considerably better than dragons.

I'm working through Fire & Ice honor. My new Shiver Bow and Dragon Hunter Leathers rock! I'm doing so much more damage, and the increase in the number of times they miss hitting me back is really clear. I had to spend some gems to get there (obviously), but to me this is the kind of LTE that is worth the gems if you are a moderate gem spender like me. I'm still a tad bitter I didn't get the Cupid's Bow but I just can't justify spending an unknown quantity of gems for something that is subject to terrible odds, and I had 0 rares by the time I could no longer beat the boss with gold only.

7/7 was easy in the normal mode, so go for it! Once you finish 10/10 you will get 6/7 automatically.
