With 2% or 3% you'd have to open at least 100 boxes from 9 to 10 to get it .

Yeah 5-10% would average 10 to 20 opens for the last arrow. 2-3% would average 33 to 50 opens for the last arrow. Hard to say without lots more data.

Im just pessimistic because thats my own experience.

I had the 10th arrow drop early Sunday after about gold 10 attempts.

Having gone through all of these events thus far without using gems it seems as if my luck is dictated from teh begining of the event and stays pretty constant throughout. There are some events where it is a struggle to get to 7 or 8 and then an event like this where I was at 9 quickly normally means 10 will happen. Just my two cents, good luck with the final hours, the bow really increases the amount of damage you inflict to enemies.

I wish, Winstrol. I've been stuck now for nearly 4.5 days at 9 arrows, opening boxes practically very hour, used gold, used gems, even did a few resets against my better judgement. With 8 hours left, zilch arrows. Frankly, if GREE is going to start structuring the events along these lines, I'm going to take box events at least a lot easier and certainly never going to use gems on them again. Congratulations to all those who got to 10, but for myself at least, this has been a major turn off. Just sharing.

I had been working with the Gungnir 59/68 before receiving the Cupid Bow, I wouldn't exactly call it a "piece of crap" as unless I am mistaken there has only been one better weapon up until this point (Heroic)?

Safe to assume you got a bigger increase in pve defense than attack from the bow? That seemed to be a big advantage for the ltq, since the later monsters were hitting back so hard the occasional "misses" were very valuable (unless you were babysitting).

I too just got my 10th arrow and find that the bow is a noticeably much better weapon than my former best weapon - Tyrfing. Obviously.
But for me the best thing is, that I didn't spend anything except in game money for it.

You have to contact ITunes to enable you to buy more than 2 Mountains of Gems in a given time. You have to plan more carefully your strategy when playing the LTQ's. This LTQ is designed with a high degree of difficulty so you must have more gems on hand to finish otherwise you will fail to finish the LTQ.

Gree/Funzio, In my view, this time you went too far! 4-5 days, and still stuck on 9/10 arrows (used all remaining gems), and all I kept getting hour after hour is gold and honor. It's absurd for some players to open 40 boxes using gold only and getting 10 arrows, while other players spent hundreds/thousands of gems for one arrow! That an insane 25% vs. less than 1% for other players! Well, this hourly player wants no part of a game/company that does not know how to treat it's players properly, and with some level of respect! Effective today, I will make sure that all the devices in my household are Gree/Funzio FREE!

Not quite. I started using gems when I began the quest and opened every box with gems. So basically I opened around 65 boxes to get the bow. When I look at how much more I can hit it seems worthwhile. I can clear much tougher monsters more easily. Normally, killing one hit monsters, I rake in around 10000 gold for a full load of energy. First time with the bow I cleared 17000 so that will give me around 20000 plus gold per day, plus equipment. All very rough numbers but seems good to me and thats without looking at future LTQs.

I got to 9 arrows with about 27 hours left doing only gold opens as I am a dedicated free player. Opened, I would say, 20 during that time including one gem open (free gems). Stuck on 9 at bedtime last night and shrugged/passed out. Over the course of this event I am guessing I opened about 90 boxes, so 10% were arrows. Maybe if I hit 100 I would have landed the bow. Oh well!

Congrats to everyone that got the 10 arrows and any of the super powerful units. Looking forward to the next one. This was fun!

4 days stuck on 7/10 arrows. ~18-20 opens / day. Ridiculous that there wasn't a single arrow dropped. The only thing that this event confirmed for me is that I will only play as a free player here out. With that said: game on!
Exact same scenario here, Doc. Exact same sentiment too. Leveled 110-114 with the PvE portion of this LTQ, but got a few decent indestructibles in the process.

Basically can't allow another errant leveling episode like that until the BD10 event horizon happens.

Tiring to say the least, and rather annoying that they've ruined (IMHO) what was previously a rather enjoyable version of the 25 "auction style" box event.

Yeah he knows when I'm mad at him, because I drop him from my allies list and attack him in game. Getting the bow keeps me closer to him in A/D. He's pulled away a little in the last week.

Overtime is classed as if you still have the event or window open you can still open boxes or complete some task, but once your out then your out, eg if you had 4 boxes remaining go to box icon bottom left open and leave it open ...hence overtime, or so i am lead to believe thats how it works

Be logged into KA, and don't shut down or otherwise leave KA after the box event officially ends. You must have accumulated boxes before the official close of event. You can continue to try to open those "leftover" boxes. The items will still count (as will the gold and HP) for getting the prizes which require a stated number of items, but OT obtained items will NOT count for Top 250, Top 50 or No.1 position rankings in the "auction-style" box events. Oh wow, I wish I knew that. I had another 8 boxes I could have tried. Though not sure I could leave my phone open on the app for all 8. I need my phone lol... Perhaps if I had this on an iPad. That would be more logical to leave open

Yeah, I expect its more difficult to do OT on an iPhone (ring, ring, boom! End of Event). Mine is on an iPad, so less of an issue, but still it really ties the device down. Can't even check battery status or surf the net or anything.

That event sucked...

Had 9 arrows and 2 days left. I even used some gems on that bow but I had about 40 tries and got only money and honor.
