I like the idea of having a PVE and PVP event going on at the same time. Let's you alternate...when stamina is exhausted in PVP battles, switch to the PVE event and vice-versa with energy.

Running 2 events at the same time gives GREE double income, plus most people spending gems on the PVE quest have already done so, time for the next quest to get more money... i can see this is going to happen a lot more in the future.

Yeah I lost 1 to 2 Dragons everytime I attacked the barracks. It didn't seem to matter what the person's defense was, I'm at 238k A and they could have 50k D and I'd still lose one or two dragons.

Totally grabbing an iTunes card, tomorrow.

3 days LTQ = 72 hours * (20 stamina per hour) = 1,440 if I played every single hour and could maximize my hits.

$100 = 1,500 Gems = 150 refills x 15 stamina per refill = 2,250 stamina attacks

^ Not counting the timed. Second, I'll dump some more points into the Stamina bar. Thus helping the cause. ;)

By the time I come into possession of said card, I can totally knock out more attacks and lessen the "true" cost of this event.

I get the feeling this is going to be a gem-intensive LTQ. So far, that's 344 attacks, which would require 17.2 hours of energy regeneration. Consindering how these events ramp up, I suspect it'll be a mathematical impossibility to complete without crazy leveling, but more likely, healthy doses of gems.

A unit that speeds up energy regen would help, but I suspect even that wouldn't be enough.

Doesn't really matter what the rival's stats are, casualty rates are always much higher when attacking unit buildings because of they're in-game defense ratings. A level 10 Barracks has the same defense as a level 10 Arcane Tower.

On #6 and lost 23 dragons so far. I have 200k+ attack, and attacking/raiding players with less than half my allies and around 50k defense. Loss rates definitely seem significantly increased for this event :/

Fellas, go for lvl9 or below when attacking castles or Barracks, you won't loose any dragons that way.

Finally a decent event...one worth participating in. Gotta feel for all the poor dudes getting smashed hahaha! Why play the crappy loot drop LTQ when you simply need to follow instructions and kill rivals x whatever and whallha, you have the prize! Every bodies favourite event! 2. Plan ahead - when I was finishing up the previous rival quest, I started looking for uncollected castles. Once I found one, I finished the rival portion and then was half-done with the castle quest.

I actually finished mine in under 10 minutes.

Yeah... Same here. Even if i raid barracks of ppl where i have 5 or 6 times more ATT, the dragons and hydra's seem to giant and die easily. When attacking Same person, no losses at all...

Therefore i stopped this event. Losing more then i can gain. I can be wrong tho but that's my Experience.

Same here stuck at 9 on 5 out of 9 loot with 2 to 3 full energy bar. I sent ticket & complaining about it & still the same. I decided not to risk any gems on "Caller from Beyond" LTQ. I spent 60 gems earlier already...

Yeah... Same here. Even if i raid barracks of ppl where i have 5 or 6 times more ATT, the dragons and hydra's seem to giant and die easily. When attacking Same person, no losses at all...

Therefore i stopped this event. Losing more then i can gain. I can be wrong tho but that's my Experience.

I've lost ~70 Hydras so far and I am still only halfway through it. I don't mind because my BD10 will be done tomorrow and I have traded those Hydras in for some very nice indestructible units.

I am finally awake ! had to be woken up by wife ! missed alarm an all trying to get this event completed !so i had to go to work and transferrd to IPhone...some people go to great lengths to play a game !so with 700 rivals to beat and only upto 50 now its goint to be another looong day. so no gems today or very little ...strict work policy No phones ! so i ahve spent about 350 gems thus far and will see if we can get under the elusive 1000 gems as have 1 1/2 days to go so should make it pacing myself !

Then 11k energy which is another 200 gems assuming by then you'll only have about 1,000 "natural" energy and no time to refill. So the question is if it's worth about $100. To me, not worth it, especially since it would cost more with my stamina which is not at 20. Also, the process of attacking over 3,000 times? It has just plain gotten tedious already.

What is your stamina count Zenobia? I have 16 but it should be 18 but i add it in HS, what a wrong move in my part. I'll try to go for this to get ready in Guilds event coming up soon...

Yeah I lost 1 to 2 Dragons everytime I attacked the barracks. It didn't seem to matter what the person's defense was, I'm at 238k A and they could have 50k D and I'd still lose one or two dragons.

Same here, & my water temple is level 9 while my opponents was Level 2. My beast kennel is level 10, and I lost 3 dragons out of 3hits: first hit-1 dragon, second hit-2 dragons, third hit-no loss. Opponent had only 55k A/D, while I have 279k A, 228k D. Seems wrong to me!... I also noticed that boost on raid gold amts appears to have stopped. Anyone else notice this?

I understand Dragons are very nice units, but they are destructible and can be replaced. The way I see it, getting units that are far superior to dragons and indestructible is worth it. You can always buy more dragons but you can't redo these quests.

UPDATE: I just finished the 45 cottages, and after hitting 25+ more cottages levels 2 - 9, I have not lost a single dragon!!! So, what Pro said was true except for level 1 cottages! There appears to be a bug that if the level starts with a "1" (rather than looking at the actual level value) it assumes a level 10(?).

All the ones I have received are indestructible. I've never seen an LTQ quest reward be destructible.

I understand Dragons are very nice units, but they are destructible and can be replaced. The way I see it, getting units that are far superior to dragons and indestructible is worth it. You can always buy more dragons but you can't redo these quests.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I haven't lost any dragons and I've been attacking lvl 10 barracks most of the time. Then again, I don't even have dragons available to me, so look at it that way. at least you can have them. :p

Exactly right you can't lose what you don't have so Win Win for you, I have lost 6 Dragoons and some other little stuff so not to shabby, I have added up players hitting me and OMG I have been attacked and LOST Twice dagnabit ! Who would have thought I would lose ! O'well they got a huge amount of gold to the tune of 7950 .. I might need a loan from someone ! Anyone !

Apparently, this isn't true for cottages, I just hit a Level 1 cottage and lost 2 dragons out of 3hits. Player has 1/4th my A/D stats. Just thought I'd share... I've decided not to worry about these dragon losses anymore so I can just enjoy the game. I've maxed anyway, so they are pretty easy to replace. Anyone know yet if the units we are getting are indestructible yet?

UPDATE: I just finished the 45 cottages, and after hitting 25+ more cottages levels 2 - 9, I have not lost a single dragon!!! So, what Pro said was true except for level 1 cottages! There appears to be a bug that if the level starts with a "1" (rather than looking at the actual level value) it assumes a level 10(?).

Was the cottage next to some type of defensive structure? I attacked a cottage next to a defensive building and lost 1 dragon. I then attacked another rival with a cottage away from defensive structures and lost nothing as per usual. That would have been your issue, the low lvl barracks attack strategy works...trust me. But defensive structures around rival buildings makes a difference, and you will loose units no matter what building you attack if there are defensive structures next to them. That's why I don't bunch all my building together with defensive structures to one side. There is a defensive radius for all def structures. Use it to your advantage and place them in and around all structures you would like to protect.

I believe Gree needs to redo their algorithm on how units are lost. I'm ok with losing units in battle. But I do have a problem though when I lose units while my opponent (whose A/D are 1/2 mine and uses mostly destructible units) doesn't lose any.

The heroic weapons and most units From Azriellas quest disappeared for a while, must have had another quest to go on...

Looks like they are finding their way back now, but they brought back the oversize ????? In the Armour inventory that crashes the program when you try to view it.....

Yeah good luck with that. I was like a train wreck ! If your asking about H/Stregth then you. Haven't got enough if you don't hit around 2K+ use a heap of gems , you'll need them so use them wisely ? And he is in some forest one of the first maps.. And be careful they both B#tchslap you back pretty hard and it hurts ! Yep like a girl Jonny !

20 attacks = 1 hour.

Look on page 1 of the thread to see how many attacks you need to do. Divide by 20 to see how many hours you need.

Then subtract how many you'll get done in those 15 hours. 10 gems = 20 attacks (assuming you are at 20 strength there). Whatever is left *10 is the number of gems.

22-24 is 55 hours. Minus 15 is 40 hours of gems. 40 * 10 = 400 gems.

Dunno what level 25 is but add that too.

Congrats ratiatierna I agree events steadily increasing the amount of gems you need to finsh gree is getting greedy again. I am half way though the secoand rebellion leader should be able to finsh without needing to use anymore gems.

That's because they are stealth ninja units. You can only see them out of the corner of your eye.....

Well, I'll be finishing out this event on completion of number 13. I don't see going much further at this point. Congrats to those that finished!

And I agree with those that mentioned these LTQ getting more pricey. I hope they take that into consideration. While the game continues to move forward, campers are leaving their little comfort zones and the whales are getting larger, they may lose players with it becoming more costly to grow within the game, as opposed to stilling the cost so the non-gem buys will be inclined to buy gems, and those of us who buy gems will be willing to buy just a little more.... :)

Congrats ratiatierna! How much gems did you spent on this? I just done quest 23 for 350 rivals & now at 24 with another 700 rivals with 9 hrs to go. Oh man! i level up like 3 times & about to level up again for the 4th time. This will be my last PvP LTQ event cause its way too much to handle...

As for the Aquatic Striker and Vicious Pit Fighter (prizes for rounds 2 and 4 respectively), I also sent in a ticket and got a response. They said they were working on a fix, but that the units were in my inventory, just not visible. I can't verify if that's true or not since I didn't look at my A/D immediately before finishing the quests to compare. Either way I hope it's fixed soon.

Well done Ratiatierna, Gambit can do it but will cost him more with time frame left , but going to be full on, watch the finger spasms haha

I dont understand this. Just the pvp requires 2829 energy and you could have only accumulated 1500 since it started. That means at least 50 energy refils for 26 energy to finish not including the pve......

Do you and ratma accumulate energy faster than the rest of us?

Ah yes Grasshopper the question of life ! Which fork do you stick in the road ! Just go with your enlightened fengshway !
Follow the path and it will yield greatness !which one though...lots to check first , stamina should be at 20 that's heaps for LTQ and raiding, put the point into Hero Strength...it's the best way...now if your stats are average to low ...I would camp and work on them, if on the other hand your above average and have good stats and hold your own do the LTQ and reap the rewards of indestructibles ! You can always buy more regular units...but you can never buy limited indestructible units from events..not only that if you spend gems to purchase units , you will find their stats lower than what you can win for spending 1/5 th of the gems. IMO
