Otherwhise as a free player (!) you are just limited by recovery rate. For example: Recovery is 1 per 3 min, which means 20 per hour. Even if your stamina is only 10 you can get the maximum out of it if you play ever half our and spend your 10 attacks.

Recovery is irrelevant when participating in events. You need to reset no matter how good your stats are. Think of it this way. They make events to be hard for the top lvl players of each bracketed lvl's so for the general player...you'll have to spend more money to get units and rewards. that's right, general players will have to spend more than the top players just to keep up... but you will still be behind.

As a free player simply waiting for recovery of stamina and HS, you don't need to worry. But if you decide to participate in events... you will need to. Hopefully that clears things up?

If you are a free player, this would only free you up in terms of time in that you could effectively log in fewer times to complete the # of hits your full stamina allows. If you only have 10 hits, then you have to log in twice as often than if you have 20 hits in your full stamina bar in order to maximize your use of your stamina. If you use gems to refresh your stamina bar, then you get more hits for the gems spent when your stamina bar is larger. I hope this is clear.

It cost me 630 gems all up but the units are indestructible and improved my stats to over 200K so I am pleased for This outlay I played the clock and level ups right so everything fell in place for me this time. Well done Ratiatierna, Gambit can do it but will cost him more with time frame left , but going to be full on, watch the finger spasms haha LOL Ratma! I concur with all you said... I didn't keep track of the gems I spent refreshing, but I'm relieved to hear that all the units we received along the way are indestructible. Out of curiosity, has this been verified by anyone? I sure hope so! I'm sure I lost about 120-150 dragons, but no biggy, just keep buying more anyway!... I finally finished with about an hour and a half to spare. Whew! I just raised my stamina to 25 with my last level up. Congrats & Cheers to you all!

LOL Ratma! I concur with all you said... I didn't keep track of the gems I spent refreshing, but I'm relieved to hear that all the units we received along the way are indestructible. Out of curiosity, has this been verified by anyone? I sure hope so! I'm sure I lost about 120-150 dragons, but no biggy, just keep buying more anyway!... I lost 6 dragons 9 Hydra 10 H/Preist and some small fries, but normally run at about 495-497 allies it give me a broader market share so to speak and I can see same level players with around 210 allies and with my stats there like fish in a barrel , then get allies back to 500 when event over but I leveled a couple and now my scope gives me 5 levels at 496 allies so it was easy to pick and choose whom I slaughtered ! Most dragons lost on Castles as they were near Defence posts so now it's time for you to enjoy and bathe in the Glory of being a champion as we ( others ) have done.

I lost only a handful of Dragons (Dragoons for jonny), but they were newly born the day before ...
I lost at least 20 canons, but killing in my tournament level, I managed to finish with more canon then when I started ... Up to how much goes the Champion Tournament .. Is it 200 again ?

You should complain ... LOL. I never lost a single dragon to a cottage, until the final stage involving cottages. Hit one cottage and in one blow lost 3 dragons. Like you, my stats were much better than the target's - Attack 5x Defence, WT10, etc. Curse of the random generator. Irritating, but just send a new order to your BD.

We all lost dragons, but they are expendable, I replineshed them already since yesterday, I went down to 1290 and now Im back on 1361 dragons which is the most I can have that give me attack

So I hit 15 with 6 and a half hours left. After quick calculation, realized I couldn't finish that one without using gems. Therefore I called it quits. Wish I could have gotten a little higher, but oh well. Still like the units I got. Congrats Ratma, and Winstrol. And Gambit? I'm on 21/25 now with 15 and half hrs to go. 200 gems burned so far...

I decided & start using gems at around quest 17 or 19 i think. Cause there's now way i can finish it if i wait on stamina regeneration every hour. I started yesterday morning EST all the way to 2 am this morning. All i do is attack reset, attack reset, all day. But along the way i've met couple friends in game & started to ally them. i'm in short of allies cause of that stealth mode i did for my BD 10 earlier. If i'm not in your allies list guys please add me back & the code is in my sig.

Anyways, i started on stamina 15, i'd level up 4 to 5 times, & end up on 19. Gree's total damage on me 1,190 gems my worst LTQ output total...

And also congrats to Cloud 22 & (DW) Lady Trinity for finishing this LTQ event..!

And for those who did not win, you guys are still the Champion in my book cause no money/gems damage on your wallet...

I strongly agree with you. This game is not for everyone. If you have a bills to pay or other things to buy then you gotta do what you gotta do. I do not understand the complaining people do here. I am a free player, and I enjoy playing the game. I know I need to spend big bucks to win the big prizes, so I am simply playing for fun. Further, I was away for the last few days before this, without access to the game, and still managed to get up to lvl 10 in the quest without using gems and with only 6 stamina.

This is simple gaming !, if you want the top units pay for them! if you dont just play normal, you have to remember its a choice, if you think you can get good indestructable units for a little amount of expenditure do it, most of us do, and it shows in our stats, thats why we compete , Box events for me are too expensive but in saying that i play free to as far as i can get. you pick the event you want to win, its not rocket science just gaming.
look at it this way ....Presence of Malik event had 2 levels 1 normal: for most regular player and most got top unit for no or little amount of gems, Level 2 : "H" mode for the astute players wanting more bang for their buck cost more but better stats , i did this cause i could afford it for the small outlay,, its your choice! you dont have to win or get every unit.
Eg: last box Event The1nONLY did not win this due to higher than normal gem spenders, plus it didnt fit into his long term game, everyone plays different . play to YOUR style and dont complain about how much it costs,excepion is the BROODMOTHER event. you are in charge of your own EXPENDITURE, no one is forcing you to put money on the table!

Obviously people are free to spend their money however they want just gets a little crazy when vast amounts of money are funneled into pixels..it's nothing new I had a friend who used to dump tons of money into bugged items for diablo 2 years ago. All I know is it's one heck of a windfall for companies like gree who make money off things that require no production cost other than a quick pic and some simple programming it's really quite genius if not insidious.
