IPH has absolutely nothing to do with attack and defense stats. Without buildings, they can't buy the units in the store so they're buying crates, winning scratcher prizes, getting units from box events, and/or won units from boss events.

After a thorough search I've drawn a blank, so hopefully one of the learned folk out there can help.

Firstly, if you've accidentally blocked someone, how do you unblock them? Secondly, if messages/comments aren't getting through, are there other issues that may cause this, and/or is there a way to see if messages are blocked between you and another player?

@grand - unblocking can only be done by support, so send a ticket in game. About messages not getting through, it might be because they are blocked or because people accidentally hit the "comment on own wall" rather than "reply to post", not sure if I have heard about other situations.

Can someone clarify if this is true and when the whale zone actually starts.

I have 25 allies at the minute. In the whale zone, will I see people with 500 allies or will it just be people around that number.

Stay away from whale zone. It is painful. Especially when 1/2 of them have 2-4x the Brazil rewards units and are doing a darned fine job taking advantage of it. #ouch

So when I hit level 90-100 i'm ok? There is no chance of being hit by higher levels?

The rivals list operates on several criteria which attempts to provide as big a rival list as can be done within certain parameters.

As you level up, the variation in levels does get wider (currently you are probably only seeing one level above and one below your current level). Get into the 90's and you will start to see possibly two levels below you and two or three above. Things get a bit odd around the mid 120's as you may get hit by players above level 150 but you will not see this level player on your rival list, again this is due to you the game trying to provide as big a list as possible.

Once you hit around level 130 then you see all the way up to level 200.

The second bracketing has to do with ally count. Again as you level up the range of ally count you see will widen. In certain cases players find a "sweet spot" where there are a large group of players at a certain ally count and therefore getting exposed to players with much higher ally counts can be avoided. An ally count of 25 is very low but it might be ok, guess you will have to see for yourself.

There is another marked bracketing at around 500 allies. If you go to 500 or more allies then you will see players with thousands of allies, stay at 498 or less and they will not be seen with the maximum ally count seen being around 515.

Summary:
Won't be hit by players way above you in level....yet.
May be hit by players around your level with higher ally counts depending on how many players are sitting in certain ally/level brackets.

Sorry bud. Try farming the inner sea canal, pirate flotilla, enrichment plant and Bom Bahia city and onwards. Farm items that has 400+ attack+defence from the levels boss. Example inner sea canal- hit the boss 20 times or something to receive. But be warned the drop rate is not 100%

I have a question, at every level up you go up there are several 'operations' you can do to get some big Valour points, and at level 100 they increased huge then just stayed there even in between leveling up, (ie 'defeat 20 rivals with more than 499 allies')...but then it slowly added a higher and higher number of rivals you had to defeat to get the points...I'm up to having to defeat 49 rivals to do one 'operation'...Question is does it ever go down again or change, or do the operations requirements just stay at 'defeat Xx number of rivals at 499 or more allies' and increase the number continually?? Will it Change??

What do you think?As far as I know, you get WD points for successfully fending off an attack, just not as much as an offensive attack.

You get points for fending off attacks too. Was amusing when I didn't realize someone or something triggered a war, went to the WD to see 1000+ pts already on my board and rising! If everything in life were like this...

Each ally lets you bring 4 of your most strongest units into PVP. The maximum amount of useful allies is 500. 500 allies let you bring 2,000 of your strongest units (500x4). The sum of those 2,000 units makes up your attack score which is used in both PVP and boss fights.

This might be a complete noob question but does the positioning of your defence buildings make any difference to fending off attacks on money buildings? I've always thought not as its overall A/D stats once units are calculated but been chatting to one guy who thinks it is.

It makes a big difference, especially when you put multiple defence buildings lapping each other. However, the stats are invisible. You can tell what defence is by simply tapping on each defending building and then adding the builing defences to your actual defence stats. This only applies to the buildings that are covered in the defence parameters of your defence buildings.

Is level 200 still the current max? I assume you can't get any more skill points for "levelling up" beyond that - but what about skill points for PVE area mastery?

1) I've been farming for units and maybe I'll receive one unit out of 8 completed missions with in the maps. I've done our 6000 missions and hardly receive units. Is this normal? Because as a quick test in the past couple of weeks I've done 1000 missions each showing a financial award and a unit. Out of those 1000 completed missions I've received 84 units... If the case was that a unit was awarded each time my stats should be considerably different, no? Or how can I tell if the faction bonuses are in effect it's as if they are not..


2) when I attack a rival my stats are 10k lower than what my profile shows and/or when I find a comparable rival with equal stats. When attacking/raiding their stats are 10k higher than what their profile displays and mine are 10k lower than my profile shows. I've recently noticed this. So theoretically it's as if I am attacking a player that is 20k stronger than I.

3) I can't create threads in the forum and sent an inquiry in but haven't heard anything...

Any help input would be great...

How do we calculate our final defence stats if you have all the boost buildings including the composite factory, upgraded to level 10? Does the composite factory multiplies the boost stats from your actual stats? Obviously we are talking about defence only, not attack.

Example:
composite x airship hanger + naval research + electronics factory + genetics laboratory x raw stats?
Or
airship hanger + naval research + electronics factory + genetics laboratory x composite x raw stats?

I assume the infirmary bonus is not including in these calculations?

I live in Hong Kong. I use my wife's Iphone 4 to play Modern War and Crime City. My name is "Wai" in both games. However, I lost her Iphone 4 on 31 Jan. I bought my wife a new Iphone 5 the following day. After recovered the data from itunes, I found that I need to play these games from level one again.

I do not know my Player ID of these two games. I sent requests to Gree on 1 Feb (Request #361681) and 5 Feb (Request #367434). However, I did not received any reply until now (20 Feb 2013). Since my account had been inactive for about 3 weeks, I feared that I would be deleted by my fraction "AAA" (Atlantic Attack Armada). I hope I can play this game and Crime City again soon.

What you are seeing is the amount of energy you get for a 20 gold refill.

You can use skil points to put your total energy bar to well over 2000 if you choose. My HLP has something over 1500 and I know of other players with 2600 or more.

There are some units with characterization "strong against xxx" which are always more expensive.
How strong it will be and is it worth of it?
As infantry unit, hardended marine 31/35 cost 400 valors, field officer 27/35 also cost 400 valors, while the latter one can be strong against infantry.

As the casualty have five level, very high, high, medium, low and very low.
How big difference are they？

I am seeking any advice on an unusual sitctuation..our leader has talked about leaving faction and now for couple of days no response or activity..is there anyway to assign a new leader so faction doesn't dissolve? No, the only function of a fortification is to reduce the points gained by the other faction until it is destroyed in a faction battle.

To raise stats within the faction you need to upgrade those specific areas.

I really don't get what Apple gaines from not allowing games to be transferred from android to IOS :confused: I'ld even pay for a solution! But i guess they are smarter than me and will get richer if i start over again somehow!

Gonna think about what to do. As for the valor units, I have the same thing. I think the units are locked because you need to upgrade the relevant unit building - yet for some reason, the display shows the rank as the reason it remains locked.

He had a lot of time in it, but never did a backup since 6 months ago. He knows his account and all, but was seeing what would happen if he went back and restored it? Would anything be messed up since new update came out and all the progress that was done since then??? He is using an old iphone 4 spare for now for his calls till he gets home from work and restores it. with a med pack if you attack once, then wait a minuts, than you can attack 4 times, so if you can afford to pay the cash hits, I would go for med pack and not mega hits, if you dont have the money, go for mega hits!

First question, sometimes I can hit the boss after 14min20sec and sometimes after 15min (most of the time it's 15min). Why is there a difference?

Second question, what should be my real recovery time with the 6/6 health recovery faction bonus (+30%) and the Deadly BridgeJumper (+20%)? Shouldn't it be:

60sec x (1-30%) x (1-20%) = 33,6sec

So I should be able to hit the boss every 25 x 33,6sec = 14min

Could someone explain me where I'm wrong and why recovery time varies?

The faction health bonus is not a 30% regen bonus, it is (1-0.05)^6 or 26%.

So, with the deadly bridge jumper you have a health regeneration modifier of:

1 x 0.7 x 0.74 = 0.592 (most likely rounded up to 0.6)

Meaning that one health regenerates every 36 seconds and 26 health (for two hits) regenerates every 15 minutes 24 seconds

1 health regen: 36 seconds.
26 health regen: 15 minutes, 24 seconds.
100 health regen: 59 minutes, 12 seconds.

My profile stats currently read Att 86k Def 113k with faction bonuses, but when I go to war, attack rivals or I'm viewed by allies they appear without the bonuses at Att 44k Def 50k!! There are a few players in my faction who have the same problem. I've switched off/on, uninstalled/reinstalled and tried transferring the game to another device without success. (Although don't think you can transfer from android to iPad) I'm desperate to get this sorted as it's pointless playing the game if I can't attack or defend myself against anyone at the level I'm at!! its a diminishing boost against an infantry type, so as I understand when fighting against a select unit, the boost is random chance of a stat increase that as more units are counted the chance of a boost in stats decreases.

I'm sure this has probably been asked many times before, but I don't really feel like trawling through hundreds of posts in the hopes of finding an answer, so I'll just ask it anyway.

My questions/statement pertains to the huge fluctuation of attack and defence. When I attack rivals my attack is nearly always lower than what I'm told it is in my profile (up to a third less) and I'm wondering why I'm not doing the damage that it tells me I have. If it shows you a specific value, then that is what you should be doing consistently. If they want to play the whole varying amount game, then shouldn't it state the range in your profile, as opposed to a specific value?
The same goes for defence.

Also, if they want to play the whole attack/def range thing then the range should be smaller than it currently is and far less negatively biased in my opinion.

Do I only bring a max of 500 of the best unit type.??? 500 best air, 500 best sea....and so on....or can I bring 1000 air if they are stronger than my sea?

I'll answer my post myself in case it could help others: i leveled up twice (currently at 77) and apparently i didn't move to the next tier: Got to beat 45 bosses so far with no gold. that's my best performance so far.

Not looking forward to moving to the next tier. Def the hardest in this game.

You should be able to do boss events at level 5 (I can in Monster Quest at level 8)

Don't know about case events, but 10 sounds about right.

LTQs - differs on which maps are used for the LTQ, so it'll be somewhere between 30-40 generally

Hi vNASTier, I assume you are L100 or above and have 500 allies. When you attack you will take 2,000 units with you. Those units will be the 2,000 highest attack stat units you have irrespective of what group they are in.

Make sure you have the most recent update.
If still an issue, try deleting the app from your device and reinstalling.
If that doesn't work email support and explain the issue to them.

Hi AceVent,
Unless things have changed recently, you cannot transfer between platforms. For obvious reasons I guess.
You will have to download an iOS app for MW for your new iPhone 5 first but it sounds like you have done that. Then through your old device, email support with your request to transfer and give the account ID of the new device in your email so they know where to transfer it.

I have thought about that, but I only have my work laptop which I shouldn't really be messing with too much. I have mailed Gree to see if they have a solution for affected customers like me, should be interesting to see if they can provide for us, or if we will simply have to stop playing if we can no longer download it on new devices if our old device dies.

Defense buildings increase your defense, which corresponds to your ability to fend off an attack made on you. These buildings also raise the defense of buildings within its area of effect.

Those could be allies you got via rewards, like from opening boxes and such. You may not be able to get rid of them unless you send in a ticket like Miner suggested.

Don't waste your time or Gree's Ro@r, those are grunts. They will only remove grunts if you have a glitch. Recently most grunts were removed which has caused many players issues.

They will not remove grunts down to zero. You need at least one in order to play the game. Given you have no issue then they are far better to spend their time on players with actual issues.

All upgrades take a week. I am currently upgrading mine to $90M. I think that is the max upgrade but can't be sure until I get there.

Is there a certain level one needs to be at before any of the events are displayed? I'm on an iphone 5 with the latest MW update base is at level 10. I've purchased a couple units, done some missions but not very many as I'm trying to camp some but was hoping to do the boss event to get some of the units to help my numbers. I just deleted and reloaded the game hoping it would pop up. Does one need to go through several missions first or get to level 20 or 40 first?

LTEs have been generally limited to those at level 40 or above. It can vary but generally not. No need to rush there as you will usually need a level 7 barracks, ground and air field as well or you will not be able to progress too far through the LTE.

Max vault level is currently $90M. One of my factionmates has an IPH of over $3.5M (and he's only level 90 or so) and has maxed out most of his money buildings. He's at the point where his upgrades take so long that he overvaults (over $90M) and then gives the rest to our faction. He made his largest donation ever just 2 days ago: $100,000,000. He did the math and realized that he might have been attacked and lost some of it so he gave it to us, and in the meantime in the time it takes for his current upgrade to complete he'll be right backup to his $90M. We like him. A lot. And he's a great officer as well.

Stay low level. Don't raid or attack. Grow your IPH and do nothing but boss events. You will be an incredible powerhouse within just a few months. Boss events at that low a level means you will be able to complete them all (once/month) with ease and you will get incredible units and therefore A/D gains while receiving little XP. Be patient and you'll have incredible stats in the next several months. But you HAVE to resist the urge to do anything else. Literally don't do anything else (except for box events, in which case do some raids (not attacks) for money to get the boxes to drop. Or for even less XP gain, just go to the first map and hit the Insurgent Leader a few times. 1 XP per hit, you'll get a free Desert Leader (1/1 A/D)). Trust me ... this works, both here and in KA. In time you'll be level 15 with A/D stats of 50K each and a huge IPH. You will be unbeatable.
