I'm a huge Tadaaah fan, you are doing a fantastic job mediating this madness.

With all due respect to Tadaaah, would it be asking too much if we could get a dev or programmer to chime in on this catastrophe?

This is coming up on a week of issues (some could argue longer).

Asking for some details regarding these issues. No more mediation between decision makers and customers.

Again, all of this is asked with respect to all mods.

Just added a support ticket in the event that the devs/whomever aren't looking here. When my game crashes, it takes three times to get the game back open. (consistently) I can barely collect from my buildings without the game freezing and certainly can't get one hit on an NPC before the game freezing. Hoping my faction doesn't take it out on me for not being able to help the faction on this ltq.

The fact that there are not regular updates on this issue is terrible. People have thousands of real dollars tied up in a game they cannot play. But I'll bet the fine folks at Greedy are still getting paid.

Further to my previous post, I have put a message on our faction board. Out of 55 accounts in the faction, there are replies from 5 people so far:-

iPhone 5 latest iOS update. The last 3 Gree updates are a bloody disaster.
Original iPad, I'm experiencing all sorts of problems
iPhone 5c having lots of lag and some freezing
Ipad 2 which is freezing and with loads of lag
iPad and cannot load the game

Just theses 5 replies represent a 9% sample having problems. Some have not yet tried to update owing to the problems others have. Some people will not have yet seen the message and replied.

I think Gree are well underestimating the extent of the problem.

They are working on fixing this. Considering when I'm asleep the comments that are made and how many updates would be ideal, it would take them away from that work. I think we can all agree we'd like them to be spending this time fixing the issue rather than mediating.

As for a morning update, we have ruled out inventory and are looking into other causes. We'll try to get more news as it progresses. We've had several more tickets and complaints come in throughout the night and morning.

I had a ticket sent in originally but figure it's redundant at this point and just wait for updates to be put out. I can't get into the game so it's not like I'm in a hurry.

Indeed. But there shouldnt be any reason why the next upgrade were to contain the 4.4 code... I'm sure we'd have to reload our data but that's a small price to pay.

With version controlling it would be normal to either roll back the code and version or remove the errant/new code and increment the version number.

Game is completely unplayable right now for me (iOS). 2 minutes to login, data being used at a crazy rate when not on wifi, and 3 minutes for NPCs to load. Thank you for ruining the game once again

Agreed that they should have a backup of previous versions on their end. I dont see why they cant roll back the code and name it 4.6 so that apple can approve the package. Worst case, if apple doesnt like this way of doing things, i cant believe they wouldnt be able to make exceptions for exceptionnal circumstances!

I hope this is a server communications issue. I fear the real problem lies with code issues to comply with IOS 8.0. If that's the case Apple is the reason they can't roll back.

I couldn't play mw before war so no 150 kills on boss could not help in previous fltq no war last weekend and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one..and then u give us those crappy gifts?(if it works ofcourse) my stats did go up in the meantime thanks to my faction but what about my individual units I couldn't get? that many people couldn't get?

Those who are , I would like to know what you think is a reasonable peace offering. Should they award EVERYONE with 2M stats? 5M stats? Should they only give it to IOS users? What about IOS users who never upgraded and were not affected? Should they get the gifts as well?

I suppose it doesn't matter. Forums are a place for opinions and not everyone is going to agree....and there will be complaints no matter what they offered. I think it's a nice gift.

And I'd like to see what the "I'm sorry" tank is all about!

Thanks for the update and I hope the fix works but as to the compensation. How does giving the same items to everyone compensate thoses that couldn't work on the last cycles final LTQ's, score in the WD event or have now fallen behind in the current LTQ? Giving to all is the same as giving to none. It does not compensate those that actually sufferd a set back in the game.

Personally, I think 1000 gold should be the minimum compensation.

That's exactly why they shouldn't offer anything. But then the flamers come out and complain.

There are lot's of IOS users who did not update and were not affected. There is NO WAY to separate those who suffered from those who didn't.

Looks like the change has been made. My 4.5.2 install is working perfectly after restart of the app on a previously defective device.

Has hIt lag disappeared too or my hair imagination?

Gree should spend a little time and sort it out appropriately.
Universal equal compensation is not the correct answer.
Perhaps unlimited gold for everyone for the rest of the year
might satisfy all and in particular actually cost Gree something
for the aggravation they casued so many loyal customers.

While some were affected far more severely than others, all of MW felt this issue to some extent. Factions were affected by missing players, raiders were affected because bases couldn't be collected, individuals were affected by missing events. And I'm sure there were other ways. A gold solution would have at least allowed the players their choice of how to be best compensated for how they were affected.

You installed the update and hard booted your device? Give that a try, it is flying for me, faster than it has been for months. I suspect the problem may have been exacerbated by the latest update but may have been there for some time. Be interesting to see if we get a technical précis of the root cause.....

If it's clustered or geoclustered it might take a while for all servers or regions to see the tweak.

Well some bad news and my guess is that at some point Gree is going to have to announce that support for older IOS devices is being dropped because my iPad 1st gen is not loading the game still. I had purged the entire data set and app so that all 1.2gb was deleted, the device had 4gb of available space out of 16gb.

Just downloaded 4.5.2 from that app store, took a long time to boot up, showed 100% data load and then crashed. Looking at my iPad's storage MW shows an app size of 80.4mb with Documents & Data of 10.mb so something failed in that part of the boot up. Just rebooted and now stuck on Connecting to Server with a spinning clock, my guess I'm downloading 1+gb of crap er documents and data again and it just crashed again.

It would seem based on the low amount of data showing up in my usage screen that there is some graphical element or piece of data that is being pushed to this device that is causing the app to crash before it can fully load.

It might also have something to do with calls to the Game Centre since the older iPad's have Game Centre as an app but it appears to be a much older version than what I am seeing with the version in IOS 8.1.

So Gree please disable the automatic connect to Game Centre and let's see if this solves the log in issues for players using older versions of IOS on older devices.

Whatever you changed from 4.5.1 to 4.5.2 has now completely locked out my 1st gen iPad and I don't dare update my other IOS devices because of this.

Performance returned to normal about an hour ago for me and is still fine. Any reason why I saw a massive improvement before the fix officially went out? I am UK based, different servers? Performance picked up for me at 19.44 UK time (14:44 EST) to better than pre update performance levels.

I think if/as folks log in and say it works or not I would ask that they also state what their device was, e.g. iPad 1st gen, iPod 4th gen, iPhone 3s and what version of IOS. That will likely help many players who might want to update but have the same device and configuration.

The last thing that someone should do is just post, 'hey y'all it works' with no further data since that doesn't tell anyone squat and hopefully that info gets passed up to the developers.

My personal take on this is to get the oldest device e.g. iPad 1st gen or iPhone 3 and use that to test new versions of the app since it seems that these devices are the one's now with the most issues. Or just say, sorry but you just lost your player because we can no longer support you….

Some of the display issues by the way have existed on Android for a while and it has to do with the devices resources. For example phones with only 512mb of system memory cannot load the entire data set when they run MW so many buildings do not display on the device. But they will show up on other players screens if they are not experiencing the same issue. One of my test players has this problem so I don't bother with buildings because once I build them I can't see them!

Another issue on the Android side is that the app doesn't flush old data set updates. At some point the device gets full and can no longer process new data, only way to fix this is to go in with the file manager and purge them. This also affects server pushes which fail because they cannot fully download. The clue to this is that you keep getting asked if you want to restart in order to load the new data that was 'downloaded'. When you restart you get the same message because the data did not have enough space to load.

Why I mention this is because I have to wonder if some of our IOS woes are related to bloated data and the inability to program down to the lowest common denominator.

In any event I don't get a good feeling about running 4.5.2 yet….

It feels good to be back in-game at all and for more than 40 seconds for the first time in a week.

I closed the app, powered down my iPad and left it 15 minutes. No download required.

Other than relief at being back in, first impressions are that loading time is up (over 2 minutes), the NPCs are still invisible and there is still the annoying freezing every few seconds (albeit it feels like the freezes are slightly shorter.

I did that several times tadaaah. I am on ipad 2 with ios 8.1. Also uninstalled and reinstalled yesterday (like you told me). I still cannot get in the game. It crashes after a minute or so "connecting to server"

Update: after switching out of the app and trying to re-enter, it crashes (three times out of three so far). But relaunching after that gets you back in again.

Same here on 3GS Iphone IOS6.1.6 ! Game stays at startupscreen and loads until it crashes ( 5-10mins)

Logging in takes 2min and every time i get welcome back banner.
Loading maps is ok, no freeze ups. Game seems to run good now.

Btw it seems to me that it's something corrupted in the documents and data file since it crashes while loading on the opening screen and when I go in and look at the usage for MW I'm only seeing 10.6mb of data loaded instead of a gig+. Is it possible that it is a new graphic or data type which was used that IOS 8.1 can handle but that is not backward compatible with older IOS versions? Or some call required by IOS 8-8.1 that is blowing up on older versions of IOS?

Or I guess the bigger question is there anyone not on IOS 8.1 that has MW 4.5.2 running?

Hi, can you look at Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage and see what the Documents and Data set is? Mine is showing 1.9GB on my iPad 2, IOS 8.1 but running 4.5.1 not 4.5.2.

I am running from 7.0.4 up to 8.1 with no issues across 8 IOS accounts right now.

I'm using Ipad mini retina & Iphone 5s bot running IOS 8.1. I previously had no issues, though around 19:00 ish, the game takes about 2 minutes to open. I have powered down both devices and reopened MW, game opens slightly faster after about 1 minute on both devices, can't seem to find any other problems.

Yes. IPad2 running iOS 7 and 4.5.2. Crashes on entry every second time and takes over two minutes to load, but at least I can get in and stay in.

I have an iPad 2 running iOS 8.1. Signing in still takes forever and only works 3/4 of the time. Once I actually get in the glitching on maps seems to have stopped and my stats also seemed to stop changing.
Update-still taking up 1.9 GB of space on my device. Strange things are now happening in my inventory, air units in ground etc.

I deleted the game and re-downloaded it.

It said loading new data and got to 100% .... sat there then crashed.
I loaded a second time and it said "Connecting to server..." for about a minute (maybe more) then I started to hear the music for about another minute then it loaded.

I got to see all of my raided buildings that I hadn't been able to cash for a while.

It looks like it's working... Remains to be seen for how long.

I am using a brand new IPad Air 2 with latest iOS. Before updating to 4.5.2, my stats were down several billion, I had a difficult time taping any target in LTQ or missions, but the game loaded fine and so was everything else. Updated to 4.5.2 and my stats are back to normal, but the game takes 2-4 minutes to load up. It is even more difficult to consistently tap a target in LTQ or missions and also to collect or upgrade buildings. The game also freezes for 30-60 seconds at a time every few minutes!

This accurately reflects the experience of my Faction with iPads running iOS8.X The problem who has the time to spend 2-3 hours doing something that took no more than 30 minutes before?

Will Modern War survive this crisis? Inquiring minds want to know..

That worked for me too. Thanks. It isn't a solution, but at least it is better.

Nevermind. The gree "fix" ruined that way into the game. Screwed again

I have probably missed the answer to this question but I'm not going through 41 pages to find the answer so here is my question, preferably for a mod to answer please:

I saw the post of Tadahhh apologising and saying what we will get for compensation which is all well and good but I'm not 100% sure what "30 energy means". Can anyone, as I stated above preferably a mod, please clarify if this is 30 energy refills or simply 30 energy? Dishing 30 energy would be an insult but I'm thinking that 30 energy refill packs is excessive so I'm stuck betweem the two. Cheers

Still no ltb, but reasonably happy for now

Fyi, there is no longer a 'no vids' pop up. If there are gold vids available it will redirect to them as before

I turned the sound off in settings and got much better response times. Had been having the app crash all the time and having to wait 30-60s between each tap (ie unplayable). Touch wood seems ok since sound off. Might be just coincidence, but one for the developers to look at....

There is one known issue with this: You may see odd results with the ‘Most Recent’ sort function in their inventory.
Rest assured you are receiving all earned items, even it the items do not immediately appear in the ‘Most Recent’.

We cannot stress enough our apologies over this update and thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked on this matter. We are going to supply everyone with the following compensation in a pop-up over the next couple of days. (It may take a couple days as we have a Veteran's Day gift going out today.) That compensation is as follows:

-30 Energy
-10 Frontline Units
-A special "I'm Sorry" tank

I appreciate GREE trying to make up for all of these recent problems but I hope the "I am sorry" tank is not a "sorry" excuse for a unit. And the frontline units are not the "sorry" not worth deploying units.

I still have a problem with never even receiving the free energy refills we recently were given. My other account got it but my other one did not. So I just gave up following up.

I did submit a ticket for my missing energy refills that disappeared from my inventory. I sent a ticket and I got the cut and paste, you ticket is closed because the issue has been resolved or they are working on it.

It has not been resolved and I replied to the ticket. No response but I got a customer service survey. How do I get my missing energy refills? Is my ticket going to get ignored until I give up?

Should I wait 2 more weeks? This all started when the iOS update screwed everything up.

I am getting sick and tired of this, been playing the game for about 4 years now (sic), 3 updates and no joy, been on the phone with Apple for the last hour and they say my iPad is fine and so is os so the only problem is the app. I've had 2 messages from customer support 2 hours apart saying the same damn thing and i still can't get into the bloody game. FIX IT and do it well! I'm a programmer and I would be looking for a new job if I worked the way u do!

Seriously. I've backed up my Ipad, wiped it and reinstalled everything. I've wiped my Ipad and installed a fresh new version of the game. NOT a backed up version and its the same result. The game loads, and loads, and loads until it finally crashes. I never even get into the game. This is beyond frustrating. Even if I did finally get in to the game the "compensation" is garbage. I missed out on FLTQ, EB, WD (many people were affected in my faction so we missed out on the top 150 by a couple hundred thousand points, so we missed that bracket), and now this FLTQ and potentially RB and the next LTQ. For those that were able to play seamlessly they have a huge advantage now and your going to say a few energy packs some worthless frontline units and a magic unit I cant see anyway that everyone gets so is pointless (because here's the thing Gree, if you give it to everyone, it doesn't do anything!) So I'm done, peace out, should have done this a long time ago, but your utter lack of common sense, customer service and general integrity and transparency is mind blowing, and shame on me for ever spending money on this game. I used to enjoy this game and when it worked was actually fun. I feel bad for my faction and will always enjoy the time I've spent with them and everyone else I've gotten to know here, but enough is enough.

There are just a couple reports of lag on CC, which appears to go away after the first time loading everything in. We aren't seeing any reports of crashes, freezing, or being locked out.

its got to be something. Every other app on my ipad works perfectly fine. Its such a shame to have worked almost from the beginning and building a lvl 300 account with 10bil attack and 3 bil defense to have this happen and its all for nothing.

So I closed my game (I don't know why I did, apparently because I'm an idiot) and I haven't been able to get back in. It looks like it's loading and then it crashes. It will certainly suck if I have to delete and redownload the game every time I want to play.

So what I'm especially annoyed about is I put in a support ticket and they closed it saying that it's resolved and it hasn't been.

That maybe the case but the team can't figure out what the issue is so this gives them something to look at. Could just be a coincidence but Game Center was put into both updates and issues started with these updates. I for one have logged into CC 5 times since update and have yet to see a NPC show up on a single map.

tadaaah, it would really help and sort of make things fair for every player if the "I am sorry" tank comes with either a 1+ building upgrade and/or a 2+ energy REGEN bonus! both of them permanent

Pretty minimal compensation for the ones affected. The rest of us not affected don't need the gifts. I'm sure the ones affected had tickets in for the issue. Might be a chore to go through them, but those are really the ones that should get something, and something more significant. I know one guy who got booted every two hits, min, and still did 800k. He's a better man than I am. I would have closed the game and not looked at it until it was fixed. I worked through those kind of issues in The early days, just don't have that kind of patience three years later

Hi Tadaaah,

Here is my report.
Main Account on iPad2, 64 GB, 51 GB free, iOS 8.1, MW 4.5.2, wifi.
After the update to Version 4.5.2 the game need 2-3 minute for starting process. I collect my cash and the game freezed and after a few action it crashes. Maps freezed but appear after 1-2 minutes, NPC appears after 1-2 minutes. The nation Bonus didnt appear at the Bonus List and a lot of the other bonusses shown Incorrect (+-10) . There was a temporary Bonus section with a bonus named [null] with the value -0. The App size was 80,4 MB, the data and documents size 2,8 GB.

I deinstalled the game and reinstall it. After the automatic update the game needs less than 1 minute till the end of the start process. Now it runs stable. No freezing, no crashes. Maps and NPCs loads normal as before without any lags. The Nation Bonus didnt appear, but the other bonusses and their values seems to be correct. The temporary bonus named [null] with the value -0 still appears.
The App size was still 80,4 MB, the data and documents size is now reduced to 143 MB.

Same issues with starting time, freezing and crashes after some action as above.
Bonusses are weird like above, the nation bonus didnt appear into the list. There was the same temporary bonus like above. App size 80,4, data and documents 824 MB.

After the automatic update the game needs 40 sec for loading, no freeze, bo crash, all maps and NPc loads normal without any lags. The nation bonus is back, all bonusses seems to be normal and the temporary bonus section disappears, also the bonus named [null]. But now the +3% health increase bonus disappear.

I'm iOS and just did an update. Now I can only log in about every 5th attempt and it takes 1-1/2 - 2 minutes. Ridiculous.

Whenever I exit the game, Im forced to uninstall it and reinstall it for it to load. I just had to reinstall and it didn't open the first time, but lucky number 9... it finally started.

Whenever I get in, I get this gamecenter crap. Maybe we can disassociate that already, it can't be helping.

why do. I have the feeling those 30 energy will be delivered after the FLTQ is done? Or even after the "dread" LTQ, and if we get them before the "dread" LTQ will not be surprise to read in the WLAKTHROUGH that the energy has double for that LTQ

Still no gold for videos, and no gold for video or other site offers, doesn't do any good to go to sponsor site if you don't get compensated. game still freezes and takes 1-2 min to load. I did log out of Game Center on all 3 devices and at least I can get in game. Please fix for iOS users. Also what is our compensation for days of this frustration?

Ever so slight improvement on iPhone 4. Can get in but it takes a few minutes. Still freezes during various actions but at least I don't get bumped off after a few seconds. Maps and targets still don't load properly.

I cannot get anything except the sickening feeling when I get a push notification that someone is busy "raping" my base and I can't even open my app on iPhone 4. When launched it goes into spin cycle for 22-25 seconds before crashing... and now MajikUP reports that the reloading strategy has crashed and burned...Love to get my Remembrance Ship, can't when I am unable to log it?

No you are not alone. I havent been able to play normally since the update came out 8 days ago (crashing after 20 seconds) and not be able to connect to server for 36 hours now.

Check the MW Data & documents folder on ur device. U can find it here: Settings, General, Usage, Storage, Manage Storage.

Search MW into the list. Click on the arrow behind the MB. Her you can see the size.
On my both iOS devices the file sized more than 2 GB. Delete the App, hard reset your Device, wait 1 minute and reinstall MW from the App Store.
Start the fresh installed MW and be patient. It lasts 10 minutes or more. Good Luck.

I am still unable to load mw! No help to my faction. Extremely frustrated after all the time and money spent on this game over the past 3 years. At this point I will be shocked if there ever is a fix! It might be time to just delete the game for good and move on.

4.5.2 is still broken on 1st gen iPad only loading 10mb of docs and data before it crashes trying to load.

4.5.1 has become more unstable on all non IOS 8.1 devices and now crashes after getting to my bases if it gets that far. It feels like whatever changes were made to accomodate IOS 8-8.1 have now locked out all older devices so if it was a data or graphics patch maybe look there.

In any event things are getting worse not better. Only two devices that actually work to some degree are running 4.5.1 and IOS 8.1.

Reinstall the app and it works now but still no units ,refills,packs shown in inventory. Stats on profile not right( on attacks are the right stats shown) and tempboost not shown, app crashes when i try to open a map for FLTQ etc ...

I guess I'm lucky. I had to transfer one of my accounts to a new iPad and it is working ok, has some graphical errors and inventory is not showing correct but stats are correct and I am not getting any crashing.
iPad Air 2, MW 4.5.2, app size 80.4MB data size 163

I have an iPhone 5s that I still haven't upgraded, not feeling that brave.

Ok, so are the devs looking into differences between IOS 8 and the older versions of IOS that many players are using? Specifically, did they happen to add features used in Sprite Kit or Metal two features not in previous versions of IOS.

Also is it possible that they added some scaling feature to accomodate the bigger iPhone 6 screen which is not working? Reason I ask this is that 4.5.2 is still blowing up on our developer iPhone 6, IOS 8.1, MW 4.5.2.

Have you not learned don't make promises you can't keep? And where's the 30 energy promised so the members on our team that can work on the FLTQ can continue to make progress. So based on the lack of contact from Gree other then we are working on it, I am starting to think this might be a deliberate act on Gree's part to disrupt the game for us to walk away. I have never seen anything remotely close to this type of catastrophic fail in any game I have ever played. Has anyone seen the Gree stock plummeting lately, might be a way to avoid majar legal action from the players that have spent 10s of thousands of dollars on this game if they were to just close it down. Hmmm. ( conspiracy theory) like me I am sure most of you that play MW is for your faction and team mates not just the game itself or we would have left a long time ago. It has gotten to the point where one of my factions is discussing packing in MW and move the entire team over to a new game so we still have the same team work and friendship that we really play this game for. All we ask from Gree is a true answer (we have no idea what so ever what happened and were gonna postpone all events until we get it working again.) but like Greedy they expect players that can play to keep spending to just get an advantage over others that can't log in at all. I have just heard now that a droid account updated and now has not been able to log into the game for the last 3 hours. Not sure if other droid accounts have the same problem.

Gree, do what is right before you lose the entire community over this. Enough is enough

Agree that Game Center must be one of the issues. Didnt update MW but did update CC (how foolish of me lol) and now that GameCenter is added (dont think anything else was changed from the looks of it), i get invisible npcs. I can hit them fine and hits are registered, but maps are empty. Luckely the green arrow shows up...

Also inventory screen shows empty. I've tried letting the game load for 10 minutes with no avail.

Tadaah, please pass this along to devs, why excluse any possibilities....seems this is a common change for both platrorms and all of sudden, both games are broken in some way...

Still haven't received my comps for the issues, but had a few thoughts.
The bonus unit and frontline units are essentially useless as everyone gets them no there is no strategy or advantage.
The energy is nice as the ltq is requiring heavy energy use, but...
Wouldn't it be better for everyone to have free gold instead as this brings back the war strategy component where we have to make our own decisions how to use?

Also, update on my iPad mini. Still works fine but loading is unbelievably slow.

Thanks Atego. I have tried your steps but didn't work for me on my mini account. This is on iPhone 5S with iOS 7.1.1. It says, 978MB after re-installation of MW. It keeps loading for good 3-5 minutes and sometimes, I have to hard close the app couple of times to get into the game. Practically, I gave up on my mini account for now or until the next fix is released.

What you fail to realize is that not all devices are the same as yours, it would also be helpful if you posted the device and IOS version. Basically it works is as helpful as it's broken....

After a whole night of just crashing, the game finally loaded all the way and my stats are, and I'm only guessing here back to normal, but my sea attack is -8%. What gives? 6982 Last I checked my Sea attack was over 200%. Should I have to submit a ticket?

They should delete it from the app store that even less people would be able to download it!

Other acct is iPad 3 iOS 8.x with version 4.5.2 with D&D 1.8 GB. It runs, very slowly and enters spin cycle often.

Here is my report.
Main Account on iPad2, 64 GB, 51 GB free, iOS 8.1, MW 4.5.2, wifi.
After the update to Version 4.5.2 the game need 2-3 minute for starting process. I collect my cash and the game freezed and after a few action it crashes. Maps freezed but appear after 1-2 minutes, NPC appears after 1-2 minutes. The nation Bonus didnt appear at the Bonus List and a lot of the other bonusses shown Incorrect (+-10) . There was a temporary Bonus section with a bonus named [null] with the value -0. The App size was 80,4 MB, the data and documents size 2,8 GB.

I deinstalled the game and reinstall it. After the automatic update the game needs less than 1 minute till the end of the start process. Now it runs stable. No freezing, no crashes. Maps and NPCs loads normal as before without any lags. The Nation Bonus didnt appear, but the other bonusses and their values seems to be correct. The temporary bonus named [null] with the value -0 still appears.
The App size was still 80,4 MB, the data and documents size is now reduced to 143 MB.

1. Buildings still don't show as ready for collection if I'm watching.

Thanks! Sorry if I came down on you so hard. What is important is that you are running IOS 8.1 on both devices.

I have 4.5.2 loaded on two devices but neither are running IOS 8 or 8.1 and neither can log into the game.

The rest of my IOS devices are on 4.5.1, the ones running IOS 8.1 work the best with the least amount of crashes. Those on IOS 6.x and 7.x are experiencing freezes, vaults not working correctly, items not displaying, stats not displaying accurately, boost not displaying, ghost targets in missions and probably other things I've forgotten. Plus frequent crashes and crashes trying to log in.

I just flushed my 1st gen iPad running IOS 5 again and reloaded the app 4.5.2 again. Screen says loading new data:100% and then screen blacks out and app crashes. Data set only gets to 10.6 where it crashes.

Would be interested to hear what your docs and data finally end up at once you've done a few missions.

I think all those daring individuals who have UPGRADED are having issues, with the majority of them on iOS.
I haven't upgraded any of my iOS or Android devices.

I maintain a little fiction comprised of my little junk players on iOS and Android, DEWIN very little, but lurking.
All of my junk accounts are able to log on without any new issues.

From the fingers of a dummy, the issue seems to be the upgrades (in all their various flavors) across the various platforms.

I can log in and sometimes make a hit then crash. My hit may consist of collecting buildings, LTQ, or checking my stats. Which BTW have not been correct. IF I update with the current update I get nothing. I delete and reinstall WITHOUT the update I can make a hit b4 I crash. Helping my faction is both time consuming and often hard to accomplish.
I have a 4th gen Ipod touch. I think the awards you offer are both lame and both a joke and frankly don't show up. The time invested and $ I have invested are really what pisses me off the most. Sux to get the notices that your buildings are being raided and you cannot collect them. Not even wanting to go with the fact you now have made my base raid-able due to my timers all borked. I know you are doing what ya can. I would suggest that you TEST your roll outs in the future. If it wasnt for my faction keeping me here I would have been gone long ago. I wont be wasting much longer here and with that Ill be taking my $ to another place with better customer support.

Minutes ago i receive temp bonus on both accs. Stats weird again.
On my Iphone i have actually 1 temp bonus. After i receive the bonus, the nation bonus is gone.
On my iPad i have the same temp bonus and the formerly described imitation of a temp bonus named (null) with the value -0
So there are 2 temp bonuses on my iPad account. 1 existing temp bonus and 1 ghost temp bonus. Now there is the infantery def Bonus affected. Wrong value display (+-10%)

I guess, the freezing and the crashes are caused by the data & document File and maybe the GC pop up. The wrong message at the bonuses is caused by the display of the temporary bonus, at least there is a direct connection.

Well, the server fix they were coming out with yesterday either never got done, or typically did not solve any of the problems, so therefore was not the problem, or a fix. gree needs to dig much deeper into their compensation box for the people who are affected, than what they proposed earlier. I honestly did not expect it to be resolved as was stated. Need to make version 4.4 the new upadate, though it would hav to be updated to remove what was added by the other two versions. Forget even trying to bring out divisions until this is resolved. Players are only getting more and more upset that they are missing out on events, and can't help their teams.

Unless Apple is forcing their hand, remove any connection to Game Center for both MW and CC. That would be a good start.

Find a friend with working 4.4, have him dropbox the .ipa file? Or are they somehow signed and only accessible with the apple id that was used to download them?

Had one teammate who had updated 2/3 devices and was able to recover the broken games by deleting the mw4.5.*.ipa from itunes library (and broken devices), plugging in his good device, hitting transfer purchases and then resyncing his broken games to the library.

-The 4.5.2 update allowed more of these in.
-The server fixed allowed more in.

Each fix has addressed one or more problems people were facing. Turns out there was more than one fix that needed to be implemented. More people are in the game now than with the original update. The last of these has been identified and a fix is in development. We'll update more on that as soon as we can.

Thanks for the update, I am in but still seeing issues with:

1: disappearing energy packs
2: building upgrade - trying to upgrade more than your max upgrade number doesn't show which buildings are already being upgraded but throws cannot connect to server error
3: no message when there are no gold videos to view
4: collect all button not showing if buildings become due whilst you are viewing your base

These are across all my devices, except my non upgraded v4.4 device.


Given that the issues have caused huge problems for us in being able to get faction members on to so the LTQ, is there a chance that we can get the energy units you mentioned yesterday before the end of this LTQ as many of us had prestaged targets but need to pick up where we have had no access or for members who have just left because of these issues.

But still players are locked out of the game or the game crashes, thus unplayable. Raid Boss starts tomorrow and there will be more angry players if still locked out

Thanks for the update, but stating 'last of these has been identified' should be removed from your statement...we are at 3 fixes and each time the devs said that all should be good after the update. Seems a lot was broken and we can only go one at a time until hopefully all is resolved

Sorry, I had no issues (*) on my iPhone 3GS until the last 4.5.2 update which I loaded as it fixed all the problems. Now I can't get in the game at all, it just hangs on loading.

iOS version 6.1.6 up to date

* other than the usual freezes etc in game and gold stealing clicks when frozen

A list of problems known to Gree with problems that Gree thinks they have resolved would be very helpful to those with concerns.

If such a list were published, and FREQUENTLY updated, it would be very easy for players to know what Gree claims to have fixed, and if such a fix works.

Furthermore, Gree would also be able to see issues that players are seeing and they are unaware of at this point.

Rather than sending tickets individually from the game, perhaps this list could be maintained on this site?

If the list were maintained on this site, ONLY for these current problems, it could be coordinated by one of our fine, site moderators.

That way, the site moderator would assume the coordination and information role in this process.

The developers would have a "go to" person, and the players would have the same "go to" person.

That would eliminate 80% of the confusion and misinformation that is occurring.

Last, but not least, why not simply close the game down until most (if NOT all) of these issues are resolved?

Im still locked out so I guess Im one of the few, still not able to open the game... Hence I´d like Gree to focus on that first... I can live with hidden packs, incorrect stats, missing units, boosts or what ever as long as I atleast can enter the game...

When all is back in game Gree can take a 15 min break before starting the work to fix the other buggs and glitches..... But that´s just my 35 cents....

I unfortunately have no hard facts to back this up, but it seems that is really not the case tadaah. While some were able to get in with each fix, there were also more that were locked out with each fix. I think at best it's a wash right now.

It's completely crazy that you guys can't figure anything out that a single update broke and four fixes are unable to fix. Why do you insist on not answering WHY 4.4 is unable to be put back in until you get somebody in there who knows what it is they are doing? Until you are able to give a real answer to that question, your customers can only make the assumption is that it's not because you can't, but because you won't. Your reasoning for that being it somehow fits an agenda in just further screwing your customer base and not giving two shiny turds about anything.
