I have accounts on 2 iPad Airs and 1 iPhone 5 all with iOS 8.1.2. More and more often now when I try to log in or wake up MW 5.0.1 I get the promo screens but when I finally get to my site in the game it is dim and nothing I tap works. I've waited past the screen time out but eventually have to close the MW app and reboot it. Sometimes twice. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yes, if you tap the screen a couple of times it comes to life.

Yup seems to be some new feature er bug. Seems this lg started up today, gorgot to check the size of the current dataset but likely the cause.

Check your dataset, mine just hit 4.8 GB and only left 350mb of free space. Game is choking my iPad.

Yes, tap anywhere other than collect all and it will un-dim.
Same problem, same solution. Started yesterday. IPad mini 16gb ios 8.0.2
Just curious but check how much free space your device has. The dataset ballooned out to almost 5gb so I took a chance and backed up the iPad before nuking MW. Reinstalled and gained almost 2 GB of space even though the dataset was now 72.2 mb and oddly it took a couple of restarts but now up to 6 GB of free space and iPad overall runs much faster and there is no lag/stalls when loading up MW.
This lag is similar to what you would see on a mac or pc running virtual memory when you are running out of hard drive space....

Free space is 49gb, the usage of mw apps 498mb which an hour ago is 497mb still very slow to login, all mw version and ios up to date, iphone 5, same with iphone 6 both tried using wifi and 3g connection
Free space doesnt appear to be an issue. I did a reboot of my ipad and now have no problem. Could be related. Could be coincidence.
Lasted less than 1 day. Back to dim.
