I am only on boss 13 and I am so far seeing the same results. Sorry that isn't a complete answer.
I have a 7.5m free attack, level 131 and am still one hitting level 25s.

lvl 141 15 Million single attack, still using free attack on boss lvl 13
If you increased strength enough, it is going to seem weaker. But it isn't. This boss is stronger than Captain Garuda. I was using free attack single hits upto lvl 23 last time. This time on the exact same tier, I only got to lvl 19 before I started getting damage.
And I increased my individual attack strength by about 30% over the previous epic boss event. I was expecting to go further before getting damage, but nope!
Yep, ditto. This ones stronger as I took my first damage 5 levels lower than last time.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Free hits on boss 33 ATM. No damage received. Level 97, 26m free hit.
100th boss down - 1 free hit... hell knows if weaker or no, same was lastime...
Do you have a level and an attack stat?
... I'm 190 with free hit at 171m. One free-hit kills still at 70
some lower 100's over 400m atk
3 gold hits on level 72 boss
I'm level 24 with 800M attack
