same here. game hangs and then shuts down. i understand there may have been problems with a first release like this, but it should be misc little crap that you have to fix, not the whole friggin game. those who are somehow working fine are now the victors of all the loot because gree will not reset the system after their own f**k up. this i think has drawn the line in the sand of whether i continue to play. i was looking forward to the gw, but now we're already behind. guilds like RR continue to get stronger as they probably spend the most with gree as well. oh well, it was a fun game for awhile. back to reality i guess. My wife will be happy!

I am sorry to hear so many problems with GW. It always sucks to be (paying) beta testers. This reminded me of the first few months of Windows Vista release.

Not only can I not get Into guild wars, I can't do anything now. So not only am I getting screwed for guild wars I'm also losing time on epic boss and arena. Either you fix this **** and compensate the guys getting screwed or I'm done with K&D.

So finally GWs stars, and instead of enjoying it to the fullest im writing my first post ever to pass time.

Bottom line, seemingly (for the majority) nothing works, freezes, crashes, errors etc, just a while ago I sneezed and the game crashed, I went to grab a drink the game froze, i zapped on my tv to another channel...u can guess what happened... so no matter what u do, game isnt functioning, which leads, and is leading to a nonlinear war, which affects every guild (either positively or negatively); i presume nothing will be changed as in everybody starts from zero again, so some are screwed others arent, I hope this gets fixed quickly so people can enjoy it to the fullest,

Conclusion: theres so much wrong with this GW I dont know where to start

However, to end on a more general note:
Strategy (if u dont agree let me know!):
1, use 1 energy on the sentinel to know his armor and their lineup(then blast it with armor arranged in the correct way to take them down)
2, make ur names all the same, otherwise ur an easier target due to reconmissions, which brings me to
3, if the names r distinguishable, tell ur Gmembers the armors n lineup so they have a better chance of taking him/her down!

This is the worst launch of guild battles, even worse than MW which was an utter joke. Half a guild cannot fight, apparently out lvl 10 guardian didn't work, even those that could attack had a limited # of targets. I could only page down 10 players before my list was black.

Absolutely unacceptable.

Hey everyone, thanks for the initially reports. Our team is looking into this and will address this as soon as possible for the freezing, crashes, and connection issues. You've probably guessed it, but there's a ton of traffic going through to the servers all at the same time and these are the symptoms of it. As soon as I get an update, i'll be sure to pass it over.

Jokerz is level 50, but that wasn't Issaquah's point. The level 10 guardian that cost 10 million gold that is used to reduce the attack of the opposing guild was useless and was lost in the f'd up mess called the first guild wars.

50% defense boost to sentinels makes it almost impossible to beat them without a power attack. There are instances where guilds cant even beat the opposing guilds sentinel no matter what they do.

As i stated earlier, use a low level guild member with one energy to attack the sentinel, ull lose but ull know the armour and the lineup of the armour of the sentinel, then u can - if u want - use the member with most powerful armour (and a power attack) to take him down, rearranging his armour in such a way that ur armour elements beat the enemy sentinels armour elements

Thanks fore your reply, but really? Increased traffic through the servers is the excuse you were told to post here? Wow, wasnt that anticipated beforehand? I pay your dev team to forget that somethin like the launch of a major addon called guild wars might increase server traffic? Sweet. Glad everyone is doing their job. You know, there are 2 more friday's in August that this could have started on and your 'gw coming in august' statement would have still held true, and you could have done more coding and testing before putting put an awful flop like this too early! Just food for thought. But i bet the new 4x chest was coded perfectly to increase those revenues of gem sales!
