Crime City Quickie Questions

3 weeks ago i had a bad connection. i removed CC and reinstalled. it worked, and how!
had better connection... but that did not have to do with the game, i know. Anyway,

went 11 levels up (167 to 178) and got 33 hitpoints
all i see now in my wall, are red messages. others around me are over 200K Att/Def.
in those 11 levels i could have my stats.... now they're 1/3rd of others in my level.

earlier i whitdrew 13mil for buying weapons, and as i did i got robbed so i couldn't get 10, but 9 items. i thought as long as you are busy with your money issues (accuiring buildings/weapons), you couldn't get robbed....

does anyone have a good advice?

1. Those 33 skill points are best used in energy or stamina - unfortunately it sounds like you put them in either attack or defense - which does essentially nothing.

2. Don't level up like crazy unless you are doing it in an event that at least pays out good prizes (LTQ, syndicate war). Furthermore, you'll start to notice the stats in your bracket getting much, much higher from now on in, as people at higher levels are more likely to have played in a large number of syndicate wars, completed more events, etc.

3. Use your cash to either participate in LTB events, or boost your IPH so that you are able to participate in the events in the future. Cash on cash weapons is basically only for people with super-high IPHs and relatively low stats.

4. If your cash is on hand it can get taken from you in attacks - but only $600k at a time (assuming your attacker goes 20-0 on you).

Uh... get better stats and you won't get robbed/attacked as much? Well, I still get robbed/attacked frequently, but the majority of those messages are green.

If your stats are a third of 200k, I'm sorry to say but you're definitely near the bottom stat-wise for your level. If you don't have too much invested in your account, you may want to start a new one, read all about camping, and try again.

Otherwise, general tips:
1. Cash items are fairly useless by the time you're in the upper 100s. Or at least they should be, by that point.

2. The best way to improve your stats is through the events that GREE is constantly throwing at you. They are the main reason cash items should be useless at this point in the game. You should go as far in the various events a you can, whether that's a collect-10/20, an LTQ, or whatever. I've added more than 67k or whatever your stats are in the last two LTQs combined.

3. Look into alternative ways to increase your stats. One LTQ recently involved collecting new loot items. These loot items are still available, and are likely far superior than whatever it was you were trying to purchase in the store for cash. For example, for nonconsumable explosives, go to Junkyard, and hit the "Crushed Cars" (48 energy / 14xp). This drops the Junkyard Explosive, 15atk/15def, at about a 67% clip. You can also find 23/22 cars on the Broadway map, for approx 260 energy a piece, which is probably a better use of your time than collecting $13million to purchase on vehicles or what have you.

to see the details of the loot items you can [still] find, listed under "Loot item", which gives the details on the jobs that drop those loot items, as well as the stats of the loot items (e.g. Yuppie Cars, 23/22, on Broadway's Opera House and Empire Theater).

4. The best use of your cash is probably buying and investing in your hood enough to participate in LTBs (remember what I said about events!). This means that you should have at least two level 2 Nightclubs, preferably level 3. This will allow you to buy and upgrade each LTB a few levels, which gives nice items as a reward.

5. Spend your skill points on energy and stamina only. You should have at least 1000 energy and at least 50 stamina. Having more energy makes it easier to go farther in LTQs. Any other use of your skill points (e.g. literally any points in attack or defense) is a waste.

Lastly, I didn't understand your question about why you thought you couldn't be hit at a certain time, because you had money withdrawn, or whatever. You can be attacked a maximum of 20 times in a two hour period. If someone hit you 20 times, you would disappear of the Rival List for two hours. The only people who could find you then is people who have a link to your hood on their newsfeed, but they wouldn't be able to attack you ("This player is too beat up!"), only rob you.

you put the forum into 1 post it seems. i allready understood i am on the bottom. i blame the 11 levels up instantly. anyway, i am doing the LTB's, one at the time. i figured the weapons buying might increase stats too. i spend enough money on the game so far, and not going to anymore. it'll be too much to grow into the level where i am at. my 1yr old needs it more

as for the q you didn't understand; i withdrew money and went to the equipment screen and scrolled to the item i wanted to get, i tapped it and got it as much as i wanted (10) and got 9 (got robbed in the meantime).
i expected the game didn't allow robbing as long as you withdrew cash and went to buy something....

other thing i'm bothered by, is no option for offline gaming. during work i have no online possibilities. i am 12hrs from home... this basically screams; ROB ME!

Though I just noticed I said pretty much the same thing as bald zeemer, except ten minutes slower. That's how I know it's good advice, though.

Edit: my advice applies even assuming you're a 100% free player (which I was assuming you were anyway). If I said, "cash" I meant "in-game cash." You can still go decently far in the events for free. You should be able to complete the Normal mode of the current LTQ for free if you had moderate pre-hits, for example.

Edit 2: I believe farming the new loot items are a much better option than cash weapons.

So I was in a syndicate that ranked top 75 for a few wars and was doing moderately well. One war I only had about 30k IP and I go kicked shortly after the war. Rewards were coincidently not rewarded on time and I never received them to this day. I sent in a ticket about the items and I am still waiting to hear back.
I guess my question is does this happen to others? And could it happen again?

The maximum amount of fights you can lose in 2 hours, is 20 fights. If you make more than 3 million/hr, it's advised to no-bank, because the maximum amount you can lose is 600K/2hr and that is 10% of 3 million.

It's a different situation in battle. When you lose a lot in battle, you might want to use the bank for those 3 days.

I've realized that even with fact sheets,guides,etc etc out there, people still have questions. Some clever,some dumb but it doesn't matter because we are all here to help one another to get better at the game.

Either way, no need for another dozen threads being created to questions that can be answered and solved with just the help of each other.

ii just went from and htc to a Samsung galaxy3... I registered it with my gmail and downloaded crime city again and instead of it pulling up my hood like it did on the other phones I transferred to it wants to make me start over and im positive its the same email ive always used... wat do I do I don't want to loose my hood how do I get it back?????

Just speculating, but it feels like there's a still a personal limit on attacks, but you can't get knocked off a Rival List-- you can become too beat up to be hit by one person, but never too beat up to hit by everyone else. Guess people got tired of only seeing FC on their RL.
