Are Sensor Towers a COMPLETE Fraud?????
I have Sensor Towers on 2 of my 4 bases. One L5 (2-1/2 hrs), the other L6 (3hrs).
I'm pretty sure I've NEVER gotten warning of an incomming attack.
I was just raided 7 times at one of my bases with a ST.
NO WARNING !!!!!
Has ANYONE here ever gotten warning of an incoming attack?
With all the Raids with the current Event,
anyone with Towers who's been attacked the past few days
should be able to say if they've gotten any advanced warning.
Anyone?
Anyone at all?????If you can keep your calm, while all about you are losing theirs .....

Not COMPLETELY useless!
Just learned from my Alliance leader that when the Sensor Tower does it's thing, There're no pop-ups, nothing registered in Reports. Just a modest red CrossHairs. Easily missed if you're not particularly alert.
So you see, Sensor Towers aren't COMPLETELY useless, just largely useless.
Or, we could try to be more attentive when examining our bases.

Sensor Towers are ok for that one guy that seems to hit you from no where. They are useless when you get 50 attacks from 50 players all at once though. Actually, everything is useless if you find yourself in that situation.

Sensor towers: easy to use and not a fraud.
They put a red crosshairs on the target on YOUR base, and instead of an outgoing blue line showing what you're attacking, they show an incoming red line showing what will be attacked. Sounds to me like user error.

From what I've seen there is no advantage to having more than 1 sensor tower. I currently have 3 and they all show the same info. Am I missing something?

You only need one per base.

The thing to remember is most people are not going to attack you across the map.
So they are attacking you what 30-60 min away?
They don't give you a notification but you will see the crosshairs on your base and the redline of incoming army.
If its not beneficial to you then don't use it.VFF Legends

I didn't mean per base I was referring to total towers. I can see having 2 or 3 should one get attacked but I don't see a need for every base to have one.
