Someone gaining immunity

I do not know how but a player wh has attacked me and I have attacked is now showing up as having immunity. It seems a little unfair as the player is a level 18 with 4 bases. Makes a great target for getting a ton of points. Now he can focus on just building up his armies.

I didnt, I got it because someone took an outpost from me I didn't want as one spot was built in trees that I thought you could at least pay to destroy or it would flatten when you settled

If I'm not mistaken, Immunity works something like this.

If you have several bases, erm Outposts, and you lose one, you gain one day's immunity.
If you lose an Outpost, leaving you with 2 or less, you get another 6 days Immunity.

Belatedly realized that conclusion may not have been self-evident.
If by destroying one of their outposts, you gain them Immunity,
attack, but don't destroy !!!

My neighbour had 4 outposts so destroyed one if them. he didnt go immune so i destroyed another and another. He was down to 1 outpost before he went immune? I'm thinking this was euther a glitch or he had attacks already out somewhere which negated his own immunity???

unless youre sabotaging a rival by destroying the targets near him...
