They have just all vanished and replaced with 'coming soon'....

The raid boss event should start this war so they ended the orb gathering period since it starts so soon I guess

I seem to stop being able to collect but used to collect a lot when killing monsters.

I'd say the drop rate I'm getting is about 1 in 25 - 30 monsters killed.
So you need to be questing your @$$ of to have enough in the next raid boss event.

Last Raid Boss you could also buy orbs with honor, can't remember the exchange rate, only that is wasn't very inviting to do so.

A good way to put it, considering how often it appears that those orbs are popping out of either the monster's or my poor character's backside!
