It was not designed for you to stop at normal.
Players were taking teh normal prize and stopping there on the first few LTQs.
Now GREE makes it that you either do the entire event if you want a REAL prize or at least get through some of elite.
Games are designed for however the end user tends to play. If someone bought an mmo and just wanted to walk around that is their perogitive.
Edit: because there is an intended/preferred play style set there by the developer does not force a user to follow suit.
I agree but it makes the climb that much harder for someone to justify it. Last few events I was able to get to around 15-20 elite.
The only thing I agree with Gree in this event is to move the jobs around so its not all low level. This makes it harder for lower level players to do this without having to have the item requirement to get past it. I'm constantly looking for reasons why its good to be a high level player vs. a mid to low level player.

Can anyone who's gotten to the elite levels yet varify if the energy cost goes back down once elite starts, or continues where normal left off with high energy costs?
OP does not count the reward XP you get for each level finishing. Here is yet another XP toll. See my conclusion at bottom.

You get less powerful weapons and much more XP for each weapon you get. The LTQ event is not worth the XP!!!

If the modifier on elite is real so I'll go grab it but that the last level I'll do
This LTQ is a joke. I completed the normal one with only 2k increase in stats. No worth my effort & gold
I want to inform people that boycotting this LTQ or any other Gree thing here is Bannable.
so I advise those who don't want to play this to either start playing or shut the hell up.
