yes but not by a significant amount. And if you upgrade them they don't give the full defence they show.

How can I find a decent syndicate? I'm level 24, 9k IPH, 3.3k attack and 4k defence. Not really sure which level of syndicate I should be in. Top 1000? Top 750? Top 500 maybe? I just left (perhaps stupidly) my old syndicate which I joined randomly from the list. They finished just in the top 1500 last event.

Other than open invitations through the Syndicate Recruitment sub-forum, perhaps word-of-mouth from players in other games (such as Modern War) or trial-and-error. The top echelon syndicates (I'd say top 750) tend to have steeper requirements from applicants, whether it's one's A/D stats, IP numbers from past syndicate battles and/or IPH figures. Unless I had a falling out with the officers or members from a prior syndicate, my take is that you should have stuck around until you found something better, or someone was actively recruiting you via posts on your wall. Being in a top 1500 syn with your stats would have been satisfactory for me; leaving early without options to fall back on would have been a regretable mistake (my 2 cents).
how active are you? How many battles did you participate in? High participation has its merits and can often times offset low stats. but with low stats you're destined for 1000-1500 regardless.
Do you think that if a contact GREE through the support in game and tell them that I've been cheating do you think they would reset me?

Hi everyone, I'm new here in the forum (but not really in CC I'm over lv 130). Don't know if anyone can help but I'm having problems with the game: since the end of may I can't no longer enter the game using my mobile connection! when loading I get the "An unknown error happened" error and there's no way to make it work. Note that I can play with no problems using wi-fi or other types of connection and that I have this problem just with Crime City and with no other App/games. What do you think? It might be a phone problem (I want to buy a new one, my 2 years old HTC sucks!)? I also switch mobile operator recently so I have no clue what the problem is! It's annoying and it sucks not to be able to play when I want, I continuously get rob!!

Mmm, I don't know how that could be possible, I'm definitely not a cheater...it took me lots of time&work to get to my 44k/55k with no gold use.. than again, if I'd been banned, would I be able to access the game with wi-fi connection??
Sorry, I misread your post (it's really late here). If you can access the game on wifi, it sounds like an issue not related to Crime City. Don't know what, though, so can't help you.

I'm sure this idea has been thought of before. But will GREE rollout with Buildings that collect respect instead of Rent? It will be a nice way to get more respect in different ways.
Or what about Syndicate based Properties. They would have to be insanely expensive but another source of Revenue for Syndicates other than generous donations. If not money then Brick buildings that collect bricks for our Syndicates.
