I would like to follow a post on this to prove that the weapons are not worth the XP. You can counter it, but I'm a firm believer to maximize your stats while conserve your XP.


Level 1 - Disguise 177, armor, 43/52, 1XP
Level 3 - Capable Getaway Car, vehicle, 37/68, 19XP
Level 5 - Defensive Infiltration Vest, armor, 24/91, 35XP
Level 7 - Painful Squeeze, amor, 61/67, 4+20(lvl6)+8+22(lvl7)=54XP
Level 9 - RGD Grenade, 90/50, explosive, 14+25(lvl8)+16+28(lvl9)=83XP
Level 11 - Modified Beretta, 84/68, gun, 18+31(lvl10)+23+34(lvl11)=106XP
Level 13 - Silent Killer, 101/70, melee, 32+37(lvl12)+43+40(lvl13)=152XP
Level 15 - Thunder Cycle, 113/71, vehicle, 66+43(14)+69+46(15)=224XP

I don't have to go further. For 224xp, that's already more xp than boss 40, and you get what, less than a uncommon? Yes, you get better weapons later, but so is more xp...

i would really appreciate to see xp along with rp, energy and weapons. maybe people listing the the LTQ could get some inspiration from MW's devin and serve the community

Third LTQ in a row reserved to a certain level... Or how to disgust lower level players of the game....what's the point of not letting lower players in the event? How can we increase if we cannot take part in any events? Ridiculous, seriously.

yeah, that's what I do, but it is nice to see it listed in a compound way like above to figure out when is the slope getting too steep for me.

it was just a suggestion, no harm intended at all, all contributions are very welcomed and appreciated. on the other hand, i am of the opinion that if one is going to do it, one might as well do it the best

To me, the LTQ is like another boss. If boss is available to all, then so should be LTQ.

I started the LTQ, but as of many of you think, the prizes aren't to good... what do you say, is it worth the gear to gain some exp?

The LTQs (especially the energy-only ones) are just a convoluted way to spend gold on your stats, not much different than purchasing the items in the store. How much you value those stats is up to you. For me personally, I don't have an immediate need to quickly boost my stats at the ~2200 gold it's said to run (I prehit a lot of my maps before this LTQ, but I'm on the elite now and it's going to get a lot more costly). If I were you, I'd look at the stats of the item rewards that have been posted, figure out how much gold you'd be willing to spend for that cumulative total, and stop when you the rewards start costing you more than they are worth.

Although I suppose you're also concerned about leveling up out of boss tiers if you're concerned about XP, to which you'll have to make your own decision as to whether or not it's worth it. Who knows if the boss events have been changed or how frequent they'll be, but it seems like LTQs are starting to become the go-to event. IMO if I were a low level, the event isn't worth doing half-ass-- if you're going to spend gold, you should spend gold to complete it, but also I don't think this event is worth it in terms of stats. I feel like an idiot for plowing through the normal mode for an 865/803 item, when the previous LTQs had Normal mode prizes of 2200/2000, 1565/1960, and 1798/1652. Got totally ripped off here.

Edit: as an aside, I think the first two LTQs were overpowered (I was so pissed to see Top 250 leaderboard items I shelled out over a vault of gold for going out multiple times in the LTQ for much, much cheaper than that combined), and that this event is just right in terms of stats/gold to make it comparable to other events. I'm glad I completed the first two LTQs, but I guess I had higher expectations for this one as a result.

I totally agree on that! Even though it would be nice, (personally) to get those kind of items on this LTQ again, .

90 levels to complete to finish why not list 0/90 for the mission counts, its like a bad joke when you finish level 40 and oh I'm back at level 0. I'm sorry but just advertise it as the total number of missions to complete to get the "grand prize".
