New Event: Painting Crates

48 hours since I got the 8th. Nothing but sorry or trash since. Playing for free so I can hardly complain but maybe 'medium chance' should be redefined to 'low' and 'low' to 'crazy low'. Technically they're being misleading...

Edit: Just a clarification for those who might not have the full understanding of what I'm saying. In Australia, consumer law states that where chance is a factor, it must be clearly defined.

For example: a company providing software as a service cannot advertise 100% reliability because of the simple fact that failure (down time) is a given (it will eventually happen). 99% is legal, 100% is illegal. However, if you do advertise 99% and cannot meet the 99% requirement, you are open to litigation in extreme cases, or other penalties (performance penalties - fines etc).

That said, when opening a crate and it says you have a medium chance, what is the exact definition of medium?

One last thing (I realise this post is getting quite long). If there is a limit on a number of available items, that also has to be clearly defined to customers. You can't keep advertising a medium chance (for purpose of gain i.e. profit through sales) if you knowingly keep from a customer that they have no chance of success.

Australia is a funny place, but these laws are good at keeping businesses honest.

It is al about opening the crate or whatever you open ,not about the prize you recieve

If you open with gold everytime you recieve a reward ,that is true .they do not talk about recieving a painting!

But your chances are better because you open every crate ,and the higher the amount of crates you open the
higher the chances of recieving a painting. The chance is very low that is true ,but there is a chance and that is increasing with more .openings.
When you take the option medium chance sometimes you get no reward,and with low chance you get more often no reward.

Well there will be no overtime for me and no gold spent on resets or opens. I am down to one last open attempt. Stuck at 9 and one more shot. I have about one hour and I will either feel the joy of victory or the bitterness of defeat! Lol!

The other thing is the Oz law is being misapplied if you are using free money. For gold, may have a point, but here's the ultimate point for Oz players. If complaint made about this to Gree on legal issues...Gree simply pulls out of your country!

There was some bloke that took understandable umbrage with postings that went on a few weekends ago. He said he would complain directly to some UK board of decency.... Whether law applies is one issue on multiple grounds and the easiest solution is to drop country rather than change game/profit ability unless the country generates significant income.

I'm not implying you would complain to authorities but guy from UK probably will get no satisfactory response or screw the pooch for the rest of all Gree players for all Gree games offered in UK. He was so pissed I didn't bother telling him of implications of his threat/promise. Just saying and keeping it out there. Ultimately vote with your pocket if you are dissatisfied as the government route is a zero sum outcome.
