OMG !! got the 10th darn painting
never thought I had a chance at this one...used gold from 8 to 9 then lost any hope and went back to money then got it with all the luck in the world. Good luck to everyone on this as I'm pretty sure the % of the last one is pretty low, GREEd tried hard to drive us crazy and buy gold on this event !

I've been on 9 since yesterday. Every hour on the hour I try with cash and I only get a Sorry or a puny 10/10 item. Most often its a Sorry.

Can't speak for anyone else but every collect 10 crate event I've managed to get the last reward, it's been cash only opens. Whenever I've spent gold, I ended up getting stuck at 8 or 9. Go figure.

The same here. Once tried 75 TJ gold for Emerald Burner and failed, stopped using gold anymore and got a dozen of last rewards.

14 hours to go and finally got 10th painting, had nine in the first day, lost count of how many attempts.

48 hours since I got the 8th. Nothing but sorry or trash since. Playing for free so I can hardly complain but maybe 'medium chance' should be redefined to 'low' and 'low' to 'crazy low'. Technically they're being misleading...
Edit: Just a clarification for those who might not have the full understanding of what I'm saying. In Australia, consumer law states that where chance is a factor, it must be clearly defined.
For example: a company providing software as a service cannot advertise 100% reliability because of the simple fact that failure (down time) is a given (it will eventually happen). 99% is legal, 100% is illegal. However, if you do advertise 99% and cannot meet the 99% requirement, you are open to litigation in extreme cases, or other penalties (performance penalties - fines etc).
That said, when opening a crate and it says you have a medium chance, what is the exact definition of medium?
One last thing (I realise this post is getting quite long). If there is a limit on a number of available items, that also has to be clearly defined to customers. You can't keep advertising a medium chance (for purpose of gain i.e. profit through sales) if you knowingly keep from a customer that they have no chance of success.
Australia is a funny place, but these laws are good at keeping businesses honest.

you and Alice are well lucky, i have only manged to get 1 for free on my main account and that was the bank buster , all the ones i own i have had to use gold for. i think the last 10 th item i have was from about a year ago and it took over 96 box attempts.
i'm missing 1 painting and that one painting i'm chasing now two days.All sorys or somw unist with low stats :/

With two and a half hours left the sun finally shined upon me and i recieved the 10th crate.i starte to lose hope but didnt give up and got my biggest reward!!!crime does pay
I just gave it a test drive and its the best.my advice to anyone who is still trying to get the last painting please dont give up because it will pay off.
Well there will be no overtime for me and no gold spent on resets or opens. I am down to one last open attempt. Stuck at 9 and one more shot. I have about one hour and I will either feel the joy of victory or the bitterness of defeat! Lol!
