got 8 with cash only...pretty surprised how things are rolling for me as I thought that I'd go for 6-7 MAX as those items are way more powerful as "collect 10" usual items ! Could be lucky enough to reach 10 with ingame cash ! I'd be surprised though as I know that it's more though to go from 9th to 10th than 0 to 9th item...

After you get 8, it seems like the success rate for paintings plummets like crazy... I haven't gotten a painting in the last 12 opens or so with cash.

Normally i would agree and think that is true for most. However i have been extremely lucky the last 2 events. I have gotten the ninth and tenth part within five openings after getting the eighth. I'm hoping for similar experience this time. If I get so lucky again, I will be posting a pic of my new discreet getaway car within the next 5 hours.

This is ridiculous. I got to 8 yesterday, and have been cash opening all day. I've got *nine* yes nine opens, each of which is cash or respect or some item. Bah.

Yes, it's definitely like that... after 8 not a single one has showed up... I'd bet that the rate of success drops at least by half... Most people here are saying they have 8, too (for those with cash opens) although some have more. The devs are trying to exploit players to spend more gold. wow :P

I always got 9/10. Now try getting the last one On the last event, I did overtime for a few hours and opened around 20+ boxes and no 10th painting -_-

do the paintings still drop in overtime? i've tried on tons of events and never been able to get one

#8 Paintig Crates ( i got first Time all 8 Crates in one move!)
then 6 x various items
#9 Painting crates
And now ,i have opened 30 Crates and nothing.Maybe a bad Luck?
I hope not, the last bad Event in KA was too expensive for me
