just added 100SH's to my inventory... added about 2.5k attack to the boss.. hopefully will reduce my attacks needed by 1 or 2.

Just finished boss #16 . When I died I waited 26 min and came back to full health ! Got lucky

I went ahead and dropped 40 gold and used another level up to beat 17-19, got two uncommon air and a common infantry(the best common in this event IMO). I had 1 hit left but I fear if I do one more, the boss stats would jump enough to require another medkit. no way I'm going to drop 40 gold and risk the commons at my bracket.
I estimate I would need 600 gold to finish the boss from here. I'm currently at 373. The last unit would be well worth it but I told myself I won't spend this itunes card on this game till they make the bear work. If they announce a gold sale soon, I'm going to be tortured.
So as of now, I'm finishing with 5 uncommons, 40 gold spent, and still more gold on hand than I finished the last event with. Totally worth it.

For the record, for those considering dumping allies/valor into this, I'm sitting on 50+ ally requests and 60k+ valor, and I'm not going to blow it all to maybe get one or two more levels. It's tempting, because I did do that last time, but the boss seemed to get relatively stronger too. No one's really figured out all the mechanics of this one yet, so YMMV.
At the end of the day, the main driver for me to get out is I have too much to do. Add on a 7 1/2 months preggers wife and...well, if you've been there, you know.
It's taking me 40 per boss to beat now...
It totally skipped 20 gold (1 medkit). Went from cash only stright to 2 medkits.
Should I just ally up to d more damage on the boss? Or does adding allies event help. I have like 50 requests I can accept to boost my attack

Does anybody else set the timer on their device to keep track of time for the boss?
I do too WP once I get to the bosses that take more than about 9 hits. With less than 20 minutes (more like 16 I guess) of leeway to get all 13 non-gold hits in, I can't depend on my internal clock to remember often enough.
With 2 minutes left for boss 24 I needed my first medkit. I could finish the boss with a free one.
Boss 23 was my max no gold boss. Still 6 to go for the big one. At least my health is now full with this medkit. Saved myself from 100 minutes frustration time.
For those using gold, what is your method your using?
It depends on how much energy the boss has left after hit 10. Perhaps i can better use a mega attack. It will save some cash. Not sure how much damage it will give. It must be enough to finish the boss.

Just killed the 30th Boss! Whoo hoo.....
Loot: 4 Rare, 5 Uncommon, 21 Common, and 1 really big boat.
Stats gained: 1,533 A and 2,000 D
Gold spent on Med Kits: 480
