With the exception of not being able to talk to my forum BFF's all day it was good! I had 2 horses offered to me today. I'm debating on taking them. I already have too many animals for the amount of work I do, but one is a horse that after some training is going to be AWESOME, and the other is a horse with a severe hoof lameness that can never be ridden again. But he is the truly sweetest, most precious horse I've ever met. He just wants to be held. He wants to lie down, put his head in someone's lap, and bask in the sun. If I don't take him he'll more than likely be put down.

I can support them financially, it's trying to find the time to spend with them that's most difficult.

How about finding a student , or somebody who loves horses so much , just want to take care of them in spare time as hobby , not the awesome one , but the one who just need attention .

Or else it seems you can scrounge around the net looking for horse lovers , who are living in there car currently .
See if they want a job . but yeah difficult tough Chester , the second option would require even more time .

This is going to to sound stupid, especially because I'm the farthest thing from a hippie, horse-whisperer kind of person, but sometimes you come across a horse that just has something special. They have a little bit of magic in them that feeds the soul, and even if they're not rideable they still serve a purpose.

Ick, I totally sound like a weird, hippie, horse-whisperer lady...

The 2 horses they want to give to me are Astro and Shooter.

(By the way, notice there's a colt named Chester up for adoption. I'm the one and only person who touches his feet, since we share the same name.)
