I think there is a quick and dirty solution to the syndicate base issue. Without getting technical, the assumption is that there is too much information in memory causing the lag - mostly the weapons inventory. When you’re in the syndicate base, weapons inventory has no relevance. You don’t use it and you don’t gain anything.

So, clear that information from memory when you go to the base, and reload it when you leave. It should be simple to implement and there aren’t any real risks.

I'm on iOS so don't suffer what Android users apparently have to put up with. My devices are ancient, but even so it's not too bad - start-up time used to be five or six minutes; that was awful, but the last 'fix' got that down to around two minutes.
