If you download on a new device you should get a new game. Linking it to game centre/Google should make the old one available but no obligation to play it. I'm not sure if a game can be unlinked though except by deleting it from your device - you should get a message asking if you wish to remove it from game centre.

Is there an advantage to linking to Game Center?
Absolutely. My phone battery died completely last weekend. According to what I've read replacing it means the device is reset, so without game centre I'd have lost my game entirely.Originally Posted by TheJess
