    I have only so far seen legendary match ups. Not any of the epic/premium match ups. Are they even working properly?

    We're almost at the end of day 2. This is what I've seen so far:

    1). Early in the war (first 2-3 battles), we got legendary battles based on guild strength. After that, the legendary battles are based only on total CP.

    2). We have not seen any Epic or Premium battles, only Legendary.

    3). Hitting the Castle only triggers the defense reduction for the peep hitting it, not the entire guild. I just verified this with my multiple accounts

    Major change to the way war is run, we had several issues,from quests through to the new war matching system and rewards given. but they were not fixed as of Sunday night 10pm pst.
    I will take a guess and say you didn't Have the staff on duty to fix it. But why? There hasn't been a major change/update that didn't need bugs worked out.(I know people need their days off, but with changes like this it should be planed better, than to do it when most likely there is only a skeletal staff to deal with it(personal opinion only,I could be wrong))
    If you did have the staff on hand, why wasn't it fixed, and why have all the reports done on Saturday/Sunday posted to the forums, been ignored?
    I like the idea of this matching system, I like the new quests for the maps. I wish they had of worked. Could have added a whole new demention to war.
    I missed the box quest, was one of the few box events I liked. But guess you thought we had enough potions.

    This war was a huge disappointment with all the issues.
    Sounded great,but nothing worked as it should have.and was a huge let down.
    Only thing I can say that was good, the matching times were not bad.

    We ended up with 6 legendary ( none of the others . 3 were against teams within 1 spot of us . 1 was against a top 50 team ( we were around #160 at the time ) one was against a much lower team .

    They have addressed issues that have occurred with the new eb, among other new things, or things unrelated to all the new changes with war(COK), but nothing to all the issues and problems with war. It looks like they have been told not to comment on it from management.
    Kinda reminds me of someone saying don't say a word, we don't want to open that can of worms(beans)...

    You are correct, only the player who triggers it will see it.

    My apologies, I tried to get some answers yesterday but there was a lot going on around here and I was not able to learn much on time. The issues you mention have been passed along to the team and they are being worked on. Concerning Premium matches, if anyone can share more details as to what their experience was (and why you think they didn't work as they should) it will help me compile that info for the developers. Thanks.

    Easy to explain the premium and epic, they never showed for anyone, did not function at all, we only saw legendary now and then when the conditions were met to trigger it, but the other two types never showed once.
    And
    Will they be able to fix the strategy quests? Only worked as it should the first time it was deployed, last two wars only one of the 5 quests were in our log. And it seemed random between players, some just I, others just had IV, talk to someone else and they only had V. But we all got the pop ups for all quests even if they wasn't In our log.

    This new war format with the 220% cp boost is easy to exploit in the top 10. Please reduce this bonus to something less unbalancing otherwise the team who has the most legendary matches will always win. Individual strength of guilds doesn't matter anymore, just whoever is best at match fixing.

    220% bonus meant that luck played too much of a factor in the final placement of some guilds. Case in point... you could watch the #1 and #2 teams trade places (and huge leads) all weekend. FiB got a legendary match for the final battle, and RK did not. That made the difference.

    Also, there were a lot of back-channel deals made by top teams to schedule legendary matches. Normally, these teams work to avoid such matches. I'm sure Gree loved the extra income from such battles, but it sort of ruins the competition aspect of war.

    The barbarians 962626048 got 5-6 legendary matchups in 21 battles : we got no premium or epic matchups : 3 of our matchups were against teams with 1 place of us in the standings at the time of battle . One was against a team 100 places higher and much stronger than us . One was against a team that finished 25 places lower than us. One was against a team that was near us in the standings at the time but ended up finishing 75 places higher than us
