I think GREE went home for the day and decided to continue working on it tomorrow.

Another fine example of GREE's inability to fix problems they create!

The game runs continuously 24/7 but their developers only work from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday PST.

I can only guess this because they will NOT respond here that they are still working on it.

We can only surmise this due to their lack of any response or complete silence on the matter!
