when does the 525 allies bit start?

The splash screen says "Now you can bring 525 allies into battle"

I guess Gree's definition of "now" is different than the rest of the world's

I've had 525 since I logged in this morning .

Some in my guild said they have it after restarting a number of times. I've restarted 20+ times today and still only have 500 allies max.

I even have Extra Ally items in my inventory, but they are unusable.

you need the next dataset bob, force quit app and reopen when you have good internet connection preferably wifi.
if it doesn't work, repeat repeat repeat till you throw you phone against the wall and then repeat one more time.

As per my previous post, I've restarted the app probably near 50 times now. Reinstalling has not helped, either. If anyone wouldn't mind sending me the contents of the sqlite directory in the KA app, I can try inserting them manually to see if that works.

Once I added 1 ally, I magically had 520, (must have had 19 from before that never displayed). Seems that I had to kick the system to get it to display properly.

This is exactly what happened to me. I had 500 until i invited two people. I think the invitation alone triggered the count to increase.

I too have "extra allies" in my special inventory; however I cannot "use" them or add them through the add allies screen.

Once I added 1 ally, I magically had 520, (must have had 19 from before that never displayed). Seems that I had to kick the system to get it to display properly.

That actually worked for me as well. I still can't use extra allies from my inventory, though.

Fresh out of cats, AnF, but the coffee was awesome! ;-)

FWIW just did the hard close n reopen, and my allies jumped from 500 to a huge 501! woo hoo!

Meanwhile, my bonuses have added at least 5 allies to my list, and I have 6 extra allies in special inventory... math not quite adding up.

As many have already posted, a guild mate just "friended" me and now I'm up to 525 allies... enjoy figuring it all out, Gree... hope you do it soon!
