For sure, this is beyond ridiculous! We all tried to warn you that making this change would only piss off the players, and sure enough congratulations you succeed. Sad to see you are still very out of touch on your own game.
Are you Kidding me... I have dropped thousands of dollars building up my ID to be very strong. Now you have "rebalanced" the event... You have destroyed all advantages... just wiped it away. My EB attack is almost the same as other players who play for free... And worse, EB is beyond difficult. It cannot be completed without thousands of GEMs. A guild mate with similar EB damage to me is already at 3 hits at lvl 27. We all have the same LTQ swords and equipment. nothing to craft beyond a pair of boots and a helmet. Gree you say that if you had a dominant account you can still dominate. YOU ONCE AGAIN LIED TO THE KA COMMUNITY. Why should we believe anything you tell us. This is all about generating more gems spending plain and simple!!!

If GREE had left the old EB event alone, and introduced a new EB type event based on hero stats, no one would have been upset. Other threads are complaining about too many grinding events (like the trials and the old style kill 1000 of monsters) why remove the events that players actually love?
This isn't right at all. We said we didn't want this and you do it anyway. Surely the customer is always right?
I'm sitting here trying to summon up the energy to fire off another epistle of customer dissatisfaction to Gree but what can I say that hasn't already been said ?
The new Epic Boss event is mind sappingly disappointing without a single redeeming feature and yet again demonstrates how out of touch Gree is with the Kingdom Age Community.
We aren't asking for freebies or handouts. Most of us who play the game enjoy enjoy challenges and work hard to improve.
We welcome change providing it is fair and equitable and takes into account the time, effort and investment we have put in to the Game.
2 free hits at Boss 17 is a Road Map that leads to a dead end.
I'm not satisfied at all with this change!I've put a lot of time and money to build my account, for nothing now it seems. Before this change, I was able to kill a lvl 100 EB with two free hits or one gold hit. But now, EB level 25 took one gold hit and one free. That sucks!

Yeah it's a business and they want to make money. I don't have a problem with that, otherwise I wouldn't spend on this game. But I do have a problem with this big change they've made, where our spent money doesn't count.
Conversely, the changes have actually made the event more doable/enjoyable for me so far. I suspect that are WAY more players around my (feeble!) strength than there are big spenders, so perhaps they are trying to even the playing field a bit.
I was previously unable to get past about 20 bosses or so without breaking into gems. The whole event was a bust and not worth paying anything for. Now, at least, if I can get somewhere near a reasonable prize I could be tempted to pay a little bit for gems.
It'd be a shame if Gree have ruined the event for their biggest cash cows, though

Can someone at GREEd please clarify how the new EB twist is "the same" for those players that dominated the event before the change??
I have a guild member that use to finish boss 100 with 1 free hit..............he is now only at boss 55 and already using 6 hits..................
I myself took 3 free hits for boss 100........and now I am only at boss 20 using 2 hits
How is that "the same" for players that dominated the event??????????
Who makes annual performance evaluation of KA design team?
I happily spent a lot of money on this game and solace I had was that I was gaining good stats, I could kill EB, and I could contribute respectfully to RB heroic.
1 - High stats - you killed this by putting new dynamics into war calculation
2 - EB - You made it impossible unless I spent a couple of mountain of gems to complete this event, what seriously makes you thing that we will spent money on a event that we could finish with our free hits?
3 - RB Heroic - God only knows what kind of non-sense you would put into calculation.
Instead of using buzz words like "revamping" just do your job bring in new events, do not change the dynamics of the game, whats the worth of thousands of dollars I spent on this game now. I like being whale, I like being one of the strongest player, I like having the comfort of knowing that I can complete events without taking too much of my time, and you know how I ensure I have all these things that I like, I pay for this game handsomely - and what is your response to me "we are changed dynamics now your stats are worth ****."
You are making all these changes to push people to craft, btw i have yet to see or meet a single person who likes or sees the added value of these idiotic feature, but you failed to offer viable and doable crafting features.
I can guarantee you there is no one, I mean no one in this game that will be able to blast thru EB with your new dynamic. What the hell are you trying to do? Are you trying to make us not spend anything on the game?
EB current forumula:
Hero Equiment Attack (+) Half of Hero Strength Skill (*) EB Attack Boost = Gold Hit
Example:
Hero Equipment Attack is 500
Hero Strength Skill 150
EB Attack Bonus is 32%
500 + (150*0,5) * 1,32 =
500 + 75 *1,32 = 759
Gold Hit = 759
Been stuck on 14/15 boss all day. Keep killing boss 15 and don't get credit. Gree won't respond to my many tickets. Nice qa.

You guys have all answered your own question as to why they went ahead and did it. All the big gem spenders were finishing the EB event with out spending a dime. "Killed boss 100 with one free hit" doesn't make them any money.
Now, things are back to where they want it. Free to play, PAY to win!
