500 gold for $50 doesn't seem like as good of a deal compared to 200 gold for $10, but when you buy it, it actually adds 1,200 gold to your bank.
FYI.

Alternatively, do not be surprised if the gold is not removed and the next time you buy gold you get whatever you bought minus 700. The explanation Gree will give you is that previously you erroneously received more gold than what you paid for and future purchases will simply be paying down your debt.
Definitely want some verification from GREE before buying this. I bought the $10 pack. I would probably buy the $50 pack if it in fact gave 1200 gold for real. At 500 gold, it is not a decent deal at all, IMO. The weapons and cash are almost worthless.
Would one of the mods please confirm the amount of gold in the tier 3 pack? As things stand in the game, the tier 1 and 2 are far superior in value.
Still awaiting confirmation on the tier 3 gold amount. Is the gold amount 500 or 1,200?
It's advertised as 500 gold and is 500 usually.
The middle tier is usually 19.99 though, isn't it? Looking at the tier 1 and tier 2, the gold per dollar spent is much better (twice as good) than the tier 3 bundle. That's not consistent with how the gold pricing model works which is the more you spend, the more gold you get for the dollar.
It should be $500. They'll re-test it to make sure it's right.
If it's supposed to be 500 then there's no need to test it as it's a horrible value when compared to the other tiers and no one who actually looks at it would want to buy it...
If you buy the Tier 1 or Tier 2 packages you get more gold than you would normally get at regular everyday price. However, with Tier 3 you get significantly less gold than you would get at the regular price. Surprising move to make the most expensive package an absolutely horrible value.

They did have that bundle offer where every tier was a terrible deal a while back, and people still snapped up the "deals".
Monetizing a game app 101: having at least one intermediary virtual currency between the user and the purchased products makes it more difficult for the user to assess the value of the virtual goods they intend to purchase.
Offer a "deal" on virtual currency and people will buy it. It's all about capitalizing on ignorance and making it more difficult for users to accurately assess the value of what they are paying for.
Thanks Tadaaah. Appreciate the clarification.
