Limited timed missions
Gree really doesn't get it or just wants people to quit game. I'm leaning towards the latter. The question has never been asked why messing up the limited timed builds. Lots of people cancelled their builds today. More people have just quit. Gree please respond. I've sent PMs in the forum asking to answer question

Random limiteds are slowly killing this game and gree either doesn't care or they are oblivious to it right now. Build limiteds should be placed during build events, that needs to be restored.

The actual timing of events and there order would not be a problem, if gree posted a time table on the forum and Facebook.
they could mess with the order and timing all they wanted as long as we all had notice.
14 days notice would be ok 28 days would be better.
But once event times have been posted Gree, you cannot change it. If you say its a build event it has to be a build event. No substitutions.
Note to gree.
Gree from what I have read on the forum, you are trying to reduce the number of players that are able to get the LTQ/LTM commanders by increasing the requirements and messing with the timings.
Now why you are doing this I have no clue, if it was to sell more gold it seems to me its back firing badly.
Players are grumbling over the increase in requirements, but up in arms over the timings.
It seems a very simple fix to post timings on Facebook and the forum, at little or no cost to you, it seems to me a no brainer. Post a time table, it should only take 15-20 mins to do.
Even a simple time table giving out build event timings would do, for a start.

Gree these LTB timings are getting out of control. In W2 I know pretty much everyone is not even bothering anymore with the LTB, not just this one, but all of them from now on.
The few that do and will spend the gold do not equal the masses that spend a little to get the mid level commander. I just don't understand your logic here.
Are you trying to kill off the game or what?
Every other major Gree game you post a table of upcoming events, why are WON players treated differently?
You are going to have a major backlash on your hands soon unless something changes.

So much for Clementine referring it to the developers. They probably thought "Ha, players are complaining again, lets fix them with a LTM during a box event, a herinbefore unprecedented move. That will shut them up".
Bring back LTM during builds. All LTMs must be centred around their main event. You don't see a Survival LTM inside a Build or a Box LTM inside a War now do you? Or wait...is that going to happen next? LOL!

It's just the downward spiral all their games seem to be taking. Look at Modern War for an example. They regularly have 5 or more events running at once with huge amount of gold required to finish them. But at least there you can glitch your way through and no one seems to care. Guess the relatively free / low cost ride is over. Personally I stopped trying on these events after the wild buck commander it's just got ridiculous.
The move to put the ltms at the start and finish of the builds was a good one but only lasted a cycle. C'mon Gree there are obviuosly players here who still care ^^^^ what u are doing is not sustainable.

Another oddly timed LTM build event. Inside a box event?? That's a new one.
I can only come to two conclusions:
(1) The WoN team is staffed by mouth breathing, drooling morons who don't play the game themselves and have no clue what it's like to try and time 5-day build cycles that have enough UV to even get the first limited CDR
or
(2) Gree has decided to kill off this game....see the Thread I started the other day with the screenshot of them doing the same thing to another App title.
And the communication from the WoN teams still sucks, and this App continues to slide down the top grossing App charts on iTunes...
IS ANYBODY AWAKE GREE???? ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU????

Before gree added the new event I would have said the second option, but now I think gree is just completely blind to what the customers want and what is best for the longevity and sustainability of this game. More and more people are leaving and this trend will continue if nothing is changed. In older worlds such as mine that does not get new players to replace those who leave it is a domino effect that is leaving worlds empty and pointless to play in.

Put the build ltms back on a schedule. Nobody coining hundreds for rewards that used to be free if you had the economy and a brain to time builds out. Surprising people are quitting...

LTM timing is hilarious. Build event in PW? WTF?
I was pretty much done with going high in LTM after that.

You're not the only one. In my world, 15, think only 12 players (roughly) even got Manticore CDR during this last box event. Used to be 30+ players hitting that first limited CDR during box events.
But those last 2-3 worlds they just started are seeing some serious coining I'm sure...that's where the development team for War of Nations seem to fixate.

Actually, while 31 saw a lot of coining, world 32 has not. We are now two weeks into the world or so, and there are still plenty of 34 npc's available. So even the open new world gravy train is starting to run out of steam.

Not surprised frankly that the number of players looking to jump to new world, spend a few hundred/thousand $$$, and get on a top team is fading.
Main issue--LTM timing is now completely unpredictable. In order to get a good Level 100 CDR it would take thousands--literally thousands of $$$ for a single 10-14 merge Level 100 CDR. Thousands due to the completely unpredictable timing requiring either blind luck or massive gold spending for speedups to meet the UV requirements to get a single 30/60 Frostburn capable of merging into a Level 100.
Absolutely insane that this company thinks this current business model is sustainable. Insane.
At this point, the only ways to fix this game:
1--put out a monthly schedule of events--20-30 days out, with the Global Domination event as the culminating point, restart immediately afterwards
2--if they don't want to include the LTMs, then at least put those back inside the build events like they used to be. That was challenging enough, and I spent a lot of money on speed-ups to hit the Level UV requirements, as I know many many other players did as well.
3--start talking with your customers!! At least acknowledge you are reading our suggestions and value our opinion.
In case any of you want to read a scenario which I see playing out here in War of Nations, check out the Legends at War forum. Read some of those threads. Exact same issues, exact same deafening silence from the Gree team, and then a big sale on their version of in-game gold only a couple weeks before Gree pulled the plug and stopped supporting that title with events.
Imagine WoN with no events. Just hanging around a world fighting and building. No team events, no player builds or wars, no Global Domination event, no LTM CDRs...nothing. That's what they did to Legends at War.
This latest "Invasion" event was a breath of fresh air. Proof I hope that WoN isn't going away anytime soon. But I know my playing time has been cut back dramatically, and that's fine with me. I won't be going for another Level 100 CDR anytime soon, until they revert back to the old model of putting LTMs back inside builds or at least putting out a monthly schedule. And I'm fine with this.Last edited by HardCorps_DP; 08-19-2014 at 01:09 AM.
