LTM timing

I checked my messages...didn't get anything from you on the prediction for the next LTM.

When is the next one? Hours from now...+/- 6 hours

I'm asking for the next one. I need to set my factories, and I'm relying on your forsight and wisdom. It's "easy" for you to predict...while knuckle draggers like me can only follow in your footsteps.

I don't think we can assume any timings of ltm's now to be honest and it sucks , it is driving good players and even big spenders out the game , I am lucky enough to have many good coms already but for new players it must seem impossible

So since my forum permission do not allow me to make new threads, this thread is appropriate for this.

On my world (21) 6 players including myself have been placed in the bronze league for the current player build event. This makes no sense to anyone so i decided to contact support regarding this obvious mess up.

"How are people in the top alliance placed into the lowest league in this player build event? It's unfair to both the top players and unfair to the low players who won't even place. Your placement system is broken. Just like the rest if your scam game."

As you can see from my anger in the message I am quite fed up with GREE and their nonsense. With 6 hours left to go in the event I finally received a response from GREE.

Here is what they had to say:

League placement is determined by activity prior to the event. More active players will have a higher chance of being placed in the higher leagues, which do have a size limit. Winning or placing in a previous league does not necessarily have an impact on later event placements.

Lets break down the fallacies of this email.

League placement is determined by activity prior to the event. More active players will have a higher chance of being placed in the higher leagues, which do have a size limit.

Okay, this is an understandable response, however being in the top ranked alliance means that either you spend more than most people or you dedicate more time playing than most people or a combination of those two things.

Here is where things start to become very confusing.

Winning or placing in a previous league does not necessarily have an impact on later event placements.

In the first two sentences it is stated that activity prior to the event determines what league you will be placed in. This third sentence is a blatant contradiction to the first and second sentence at least in reference to myself and my alliance members who are in the bronze league as I stated before being in the top alliance requires you to either spend money or time playing more than others or a combination of those things.

WINNING OR PLACING IN A PREVIOUS LEAGUE MEANS THAT YOU ARE AN ACTIVE PLAYER PRIOR TO THE CURRENT EVENT.

Building over 100 million unit value means that you are an active player.

I once asked GREE what dictated your placement in a league, the response I got back then was many factors are used when determining league placement.

WHAT IS IT GREE? Activity prior to an event or "many factors"?

I'll be going to apple with this lie to get a refund for money spent since my last refund and your boondoggle regarding the server maintenance in the middle of a build event.

The only thing that has kept me playing is the social aspect with my alliance members having been an "ACTIVE" player since May last year and with many of them quitting daily I am hanging on by a thread.

Between this and the fact that Alliance League build events do not award a reward for a 7th place alliance and the many other screw ups you have had you are making your player base quit faster than anyone ever could.

Boss mans breakdown is perfect and I see no reply from gree again , we go one step forward three steps backwards . We have the highest activity group of our world so to have so many in bronze is non sense

To Kerean the problem had always been there but just not on the huge scale as it was in recent events , we have had many very active high end players in bronze , silver etc . I was in silver yet before that I came third in plat ( I think ) and and 6th in champs league before this

If you look at it closely there is still a pattern to the events and timing, its just a little different to before. I'm sure it wasn't intended but they have actually made it easier to time the LTM.

What was that again, they changed the ltm yet again.

Of course they did because money is the only driving force for change anymore, not keeping the players happy.

Of course Gree thinks everything is a okay and everyone is happy since in places like world 31 people keep coining their rears off playing the jam box event.....

i was spot 2 in diamond, then sport 2 in Champions, never ever was i placed lower then diamond
i was spot 21 in last playerwars, even used some teleports which i saved up.
have over 3 billion BP, which is alot for a free player in w26

What's even worse than unorthodox LTM start times, is the new commanders (probably starting around the Necro commander) have gotten a lot weaker in stats! In addition, the UV requirements per mission leading up to being rewarded these (weaker) commanders have more than doubled. This makes them nearly impossible to get without pre-building a ton of UV and keeping your fingers crossed that you can make them drop within the sporadic LTM time frame, or, spending the Benjamin's to buy the necessary UV needed (likely $500 or better now).

I'm not sure who made the NOT SO clever marketing idea to increase the requirements for the now weaker LTM commanders and make them cost more, but that person should be relieved of their duties and re-placed in the janitors department with a mop and broom. I'm sure that the folks at Gree love the fact that people are paying more for items in their game, but just how many will actually continue to pay for items that have no real value in the game.

This is a joke. I set builds for gree's last set of timing. Drop just after start and just before end. What do you do? Put first (or only) ltm between every ltm window you've ever used. So done with this.

I stopped building units for event when it didnt happen first 24 hours and went to work out, then decided didnt want to mess with game so went to to dinner. I basically found other stuff do do with time I was playing game. Didn't play for a day and half it was fun. I really like game but I can't put entire life on hold for gree to have an event. If the game gets this silly with moving events I just will take more time off from playing. I use some gold and speed ups to finish events. Sometimes I don't need to. It feels like you get cheated when they mess with timing crazy, not talking a few hours because that what makes up your strategy but moving limited time missions outside of build events either 7 hours early or 20 hours late. I like the game because its very or was very strategic. Moving the limited missions to make people upset has just gotten old. The last event starting crazy late. If game makes me upset to play best solution is to just not play. Not sure if that means taking more time off or quitting for good. I play in an older world and more people get fed up and quit every week. Also you keep going up in level so there is even less people to attack. I don't know why gree wants to move events so much, I just see less people playing. Less people playing equals less people paying.

Pure silliness having a build event during AP war. Here I am in second place of ap war and have to decide if I want to quit the game. Thanks, Gree. Thinking about taking another day and a half off again. Maybe ill just be done with game for good. I guess I'm done buying ports. Have fun with your game.
BTW you can't build and fight at same time, what a way to ruin my favorite game.

Seriously, this thread has been running for about one month, and not a single comment from mods. At least if you told us your reasoning behind the change in ltm times, we may understand your logical. But to just ignore it is such a scumbag thing to do, really proves that u don't give a fk and want to drive players from the game, arseholes.

No need to state their reasoning as it is pretty clear what it is. Completely unpredictable start times should result in more money in theory. Too bad it has done the complete opposite for some of us. I personally am calling it quits in 31 and going back to 24 since I refuse to play Grees BS games with limited, I would rather go back to a world with less people where I have good commanders than to try competing with people who will coin their rears off to get commanders.

This new approach will only result in further imbalance in newer worlds since you can't complete limiteds without cash and/or a lot of dumb luck now
