Surge in data usage!

Actually, I am wondering if you are on to something. I play this game 15-30 minutes per day (4-6 entries). I live in Asia. I have stalked this thread for a bit and tried to keep track of my data. I notice no huge data loss. I reset a few days ago and have used data for just under 4 hours (I have three email accounts tied to phone and use gps a lot also). Result is 91.8 meg sent 466meg received. I see no problem. But I am not on a USA carrier. So...

i am with verizon with iphone 4 and i'm usually connected to wifi but even when im not i noticed no huge spike in data usage (yet), but many of my faction members are, its weird but it needs to be fixed

I've tried to track it as well. While I am blowing through data with this app, there is no rhyme or reason as to exactly how much and when. It's not a constant leak; I can be fine using the app for a while with little usage. Then all of a sudden it jumps significantly.

Well 4.2 didn't fix a ****in thing, I been watching this thread from day one, downloaded the new update yesterday, cleared my data stats and logged on the game, collected buildings and vaulted. 30 seconds at the most, over 10 megs. What the ****, gree. Can some one tell me how to file a complaint with apple? Past two months I went over
my data plan, I even upgraded to a different plan and still had overage charge. For about a year I never exceeded 1gb and I played the game hard on 4g, now all of a sudden 3 or even 4 gb of data isn't enough. This is just bad business on gree's end

1) you are using some sort of software versioning product. do a difference and find out what changed! what did you change? if you can't figure it out, revert to 3 month old code and start over!
2) what is the size of all the "keep adding and removing map characters" data download that you keep sending out? how big are they?
3) please post us an address so players can send you a bill for the crazy data consumption you are incapable of fixing!
4) and if you're getting a kickback from the cell carriers, at least be honest about it. tell us. then rebate some of that in gold!

update not fixed the data issue, several of my ios faction members still have to remain mw less while not on wifi

I have figured out why there is such there is such a huge increase in data transfers. The only way to stop most forms of hacking is for gree to keep all the files on their server. So basically when you log on - all your info - units etc have to be downloaded. Its the best way to keep the game clean - I am pretty sure this is the reason why we are getting this huge data spike.

10 meg per restart I could handle, a gig a day I can't!

I had to take my data plan from 4g, to 10g & now to 15g, just for this game.
PS That data plan is just for when I'm not at home on my unlimited WiFi
